| HOly shit, what the fuck just happened?!? Never before has an anime played such a trick on me. Even when others have told me how dark this anime gets I never expected this. When Mami died, I felt like my whole world was ripped away. So gruesome! In some sick way, I love it. |
| Barely even paying attention, I was slowly losing interest. I was seriously considering dropping the anime. The element of danger seemed to be completely absent, which is a huge turn-off for me. Then suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, the magic threads that were binding Homura turned to blood and I see Mami's lifeless body dangling from the monsters mouth as she is eaten alive. Not even bothering to build up suspense, Mami was killed without a moments notice. It wasn't obvious she was going to die, it just happened; that is how death scenes should be. Not only did that instantly rebuild my interest in the anime, I also had to rewatch a considerable portion of the episode as I was barely even paying attention while watching it. If stuff like that is already happening on the third episode, I have good expectations that I will not be disappointed. |

| Oh my GOD, this scene is just as sad as the first time I watched it T_T Completely surprising, she was getting along so well with Madoka I thought we'd get to see them be a team and now ... nope T_T She was definitely my favourite character so far, it's an absolute shame she died like that T_T RIP, Mami D; Next episode I suppose we'll get to deal with Sayaka and her friend/love interest in the hospital ... *sigh* Oh this show really does give me FEELINGS T_T |

Another Card Captor Sakura like anime/ magical girl show" <note: the following words that you will see next is pronounced in a tone of that of a deep-voiced hammy narrator> until this episode came along and so made the entire series' viewers "WHAT THE HELL? | This really caught me off guard. Amazing episode, I did not expect this at all. I like the new ED, I actually like the entire OST. Strange witch this time. Seeing next episode's title, I expect one of the two to make a wish that revives the girl that was eaten by the witch. I'm looking forward to it. |

| i saw it coming i saw it coming! but i really didn't want it to happen... she just got to happy and since madoka is the main character i knew either mami or sayaka would die.. ut damn i didn't think it would be that gruesome.. why didn't i start watchng this anime sooner!! i wasn't really sure about it when my friend told me to watch it because it was a magical girl anime but i love this.. but im still really sad about mami :'( |

| Well this episode has renewed my interest. I thought the beginning 2 eps were a little unorganized (1st ep i think? Oh hey, in the mall and now ended up in a dark stairway/floor), but this episode is starting to put together a story. Since this was only the 3rd ep I wasn't so attached to Mami-san but it was still crazy to see her taken out so brutally and early. Excited to see what happens next ep |

| Man what a great episode loved the background, lol that witch with its syringe needles pills and yummy desert lair. Wonderfully deceptive, clown part was epic. |

| Actually ran into a spoiler about her dying when people were talking about the show being dark but I was surprised how early it happened. Also Kyuubey=most suspicious character so far. He still had that smile on his face after she died. |

| Aww sheet, blondy just stood there and took it like a woman. You know what they say "the cake is a lie" I laughed, I cried, and I wish she moved away from that attack =~= I really enjoyed the realistic reactions madoka and her friend had to mami getting eaten.. They went in thinking they could just make a wish and save her but they were to scared to do anything when it actually happen.. 5/5 |

| Well shit, I wasn't expecting that to happen. I just really hope she's either still alive or Madoka uses her wish to bring back Mami. It got really happy as well just before that with Mami being reassured by Madoka that she's not alone anymore and then she was confident while fighting and then THAT happened. I love the art work on that witch they were fighting. That was fucking rad. Great episode. |

| Well that was depressing...though I knew something bad was going to happen since she was thinking how she was finally no longer alone. Still it came so fast that I had no time to even react. I guess part of the reason why Tomoe died in this episode was because she was over-confident and underestimated the witch :( This is a great example of why you shouldn't underestimate your enemy. Well Homura seemed to be able to defeat the witch pretty easily though. Being a mahou shoujo definitely isn't as great as it seems. |
