| 23 minutes of talking and stillframes for 30 seconds of decent animation methinks there may be serious budget issues, i.e they blew a lot of it on the first episode. explaining things and tactics is fine, but dragging it out for 2 episodes for something that could have been solved in 5-10 minutes is pushing it. if only they could resolve things as quickly as the inevitable SNK defense force starts calling this post a troll and me a 'mad hater' prove me right |

Im not gonna say that titans picking up giant boulders should be possible, but old grandma's can lift cars off the ground partially when their adrenaline kicks in for a short amount of time, and although that destroy's a humans muscles and spine and other things. I think the same concept can be applied to the titans, some sort of endocrine reaction increasing strength exponentially but they regenerate from damage caused making it a plausible theory. Also i've never seen a human karate chop some1's head off and send it flying but Eren did that to another Titan so because of that i think it is unfair to compare what human and titans can do. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |
| calling it now, pixis pretty much spelled it out SNK is set in the future mankind was on the verge of destroying itself with war the titans were mankind creation to unite humanity under a unified cause. the titans got out of hand and ended up destroying an already weakened humanity (hene why any modern army worth anything didnt just utterly destroy them, humanity was already on the edge due to war) the walls were the contingency plan. the original people who released the titans realized what they did. and created the walls as one last attempt to save humanity. screencap this |

The pace was particular slow in the manga also, not that I cared that much since I marathoned through the manga, so that chapter felt like 1 short scene, maybe 5-7 minutes or so. Its a fictitious world after... other series dont even attempt to justify what happens as realistic, many explicitly make fun of it (e.g ttgl, where they explicitly say many times that theyve just assraped physics and possibility itself.) SNK tries to make it seem realistic though, just look at the eyecatches and all the time (ALOT) they spend explaining all their plans. and theyre so laughably impossible. |
