That's awesome! :D

Ahah, that's good to year, I feel safer now xD

Ahah, that's a tricky question xD But I... think you're a guy? Your profile and such isn't girly (although there are lots of girls that don't like girly things, but...) and if you were a girl, you wouldprobably have told me you were a girl right after I asked you to, since you've already made clear you like guys. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong? xD

Omg~ <3 I just read that manga that you just recommended me!!! That main girl!! I can so relate to her very very well!!! I used to felt the same as her, i was bored of everything and i didn't have a passion at all. I always used to think to myself that whether it'd be love or some sort of boy band, i wanted to feel the passion that can motivate me to move through life >:( I was exactly like her until i found manga and anime. Manga and anime is the only thing in this world that i have such great passion for. TT_TT Everyday, i had to read some manga or watch some anime and i would crave it constantly when i don't have it. When i'm sad or depressed, i always go back to anime and manga to cheer me up! I'm so glad that i have a passion for something :) Hehe, good for the main girl too even though it was a very mature acts P:

Ooooohh!! You're just like me :D Every night, when my mom tell me to go to sleep early, i'll just sneak onto my phone and read manga and watch anime from then! :D NEW TECHNOLOGY FTW~!! <3 It's so convenient to be able to go on the internet through your phone C: <3 Sometime, when i'm bore at school, i would also do the same thing to ^w^ Also, thanks for recommending that series <3 I love me some recommendations *O* Omg~~ I love more series with sick story and possessive lover even though it is actually a very bad thing in reality, teehee X'D I guess one of the reason why i like those sort of stories was because how it makes my heart race and i enjoy feeling that sensation >< I rarely feel that sort of sensation when i read manga and watch anime unless it's a very very epic series (Snk, claymore, etc) :( So then I started immersing myself into those sort of sick love stories in replacement of unsatisfied needs ;~;
Estherella Sep 29, 2013 6:53 AM
Thanks! :D That's reassuring to hear~ P: I know quite a few close friends of mine were urging me to read it >_<~ <3 One good thing about webtoon is that it gets released weekly C: So we don't have to wait like every month for a new chapter \(>_<)/ Oh wow! :O You even read yaoi o/////o I'm not ready for that yet so i tend to stray away from them because i know that once i entered their world i can never come back out X'D.....I had a thing for series that have a "possessive lover" tag and yaoi manga by far have the most. I knew they probably have what i wanted and maybe even more but i'm not ready ;~; A few friends of mine are actually hardcore yaoi reader and it's weird for me to read it because it's such a BIG guilty pleasure ==; I'm sort like a sadist and like seeing guys getting tortured emotionally about their love :S Like, whenever i read a romance or something, i wanted the guy to be jealous so bad that he wanna die 8D One of the most obsessive and possessive lover i ever read/seen in the manga is "Watashi no Megane-kun". x.X Everyone is like a nut case but i'm into nutty stuff so i like it P: Do you still have the time to read manga or anything like that? >.<
Wildcat17 Sep 24, 2013 10:31 AM
Wow, how many siblings do you have? :O

So you like super ripped guys? xD I'm not ripped, I'm actually too much skinny. But I'll start going to the gym, I'm hopping I'll be less skynny someday not really distant x)

YOU COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND ME! That's how I feel. Thank you.

By the way, are you a girl or a boy? :O Since your gender is not specified... xD
rawrmonstah Aug 27, 2013 11:01 AM

sorry for the real late reply :-;.
i don't really know what i kind of stuff i am into lol.
i like any anime and things that intrests me. i like tragedies i guess.
what 'bout you?
Estherella Aug 19, 2013 4:30 AM
Thanks for the recommendation~ I'll be sure to check them out if i have time so i will probably put them on my plan to read list >.<

I'm not sure about whether Angel Sanctuary being well known coz of the anime but it's probably well-known coz it's her longest series that the author have ever wrote. Considering the time that it was made, it's probably considered a pretty decent series compared to the ones out in its years. Not to mention, it kinds of have a blend of fantasy in there and incest which somewhat intrigues people? Not sure why, but i heard there was something about forbidden romance being quite popular in those days. It's funny how you said if i like incest and i do like it to be honest~! 8D I doubt liking incest have anything to do with having siblings in real life since i have also have a brother as well but i sure as heck doesn't imagine stuff like that about us. I guess you could incest manga are kind of like my guilty read? 9_9 I knew incest relationships are forbidden but i can't help but wondered how it is possible for love to bloom and succeed under such forbidden circumstances. xD I guess you could say, it adds more to my excitement if i knew things that are impossible to achieve. Though, i don't like every incest story there are out there. It just so happens that i seen some decent ones and i liked it. There are a couple of incest manga that didn't cut it for me (though they aren't even blood-related but it's tagged incest? >.>?). The only actual true incest story i've ever read is Flowers of Evil and i loved it!!! XD

I just recently finished Zetsuen no Tempest last week as well and i didn't really like this whole story revolving around on a dead lover :| I just don't fancied that sort of romance where love triangles exist with a person that is already dead. Not to mention, this whole who's Aika boyfriend shit was like unnecessary drama and i was just laughing at how they made such a big deal about it. Furthermore, i don't like why but there was something about Aika that i didn't like about her. She seemed too easy-going about things but at the same time she acted so bitchy and poetic. It's hard for me to even understand what goes through that head of hers and i find it really difficult to like a character like that, particularly since she was already since the start of the series and all we know is that she's only important to the story as a plot device. Nothing about her characteristics in her personality that really strikes the deal for me. It is not until about i was about 20 episode in that i began to thought she seemed more understandable and interesting but not for very long >.> Overall, I found it enjoyable as what it is but it could have the potential to become even better. I would sure like to discuss it more about it with you once you've completed it :)

I also noticed how there are a strong presence in webtoons nowadays in the manhwa industry o.o All of them are seemingly made by some amateur manga artist that post their own individual original story on the internet and surprisingly all of them were pretty interesting and good in each of their own way. There was just so much difference between all of them that i wouldn't even say they resemble each other or any mangas that i've read before. It's quite amazing actually how they could twist around with some of the cultures and add their own little touch to the story. In fact, i found webtoons more interesting in terms of plots and characters than manga nowadays o.0 At the very least, they don't uses the same cliche type of personality or character over and over again so i was pretty pleased with that. I don't exactly read much shounen webtoons though, i've been meaning to check out Tower of Gods which i've been told was very good but i hadn't got my hand onto it yet. The latest webtoons that i've last read was Cheese in the trap, Annarasumanara and Fairy Tale for the Demon lord. :)

Again a bit late with reply, sorry! How is Danganronpa?

Well when USSR collapsed everything collapsed and that's what perestroika did, there was food shortage, things like sugar was non existent, my cousin was having her wedding back then and my parents told me that the cake was absolutely sugarless, you couldn't find butter except the salty kind and you had to wake up early in the morning and go to the bakery and get in line in hopes that you will manage to get bread before they run out of it, normally would take 4 or so hours of wait, the only people who didn't had much problem were the one living in the countryside because they had their livestock and gardens. It also created a lot of tension between people reaching full blown racism and some mini civil wars. The winter my parent left they had news that many people died in subways from cold and that people would burn anything wooden they could find because there was no heat, since the gas supply was cut. Generally not pretty things happened.

About Psycho Pass

Rackage and Pinion shipping is so rare! From what I've seen pixiv only has one picture of it! It's as rare as anything Moribito related and I so wouldn't mind some side stories about BalsaxTanda. I'm all about happy endings but in Gargantia it didn't really had any impact on me, it was "erm... that's it?" kind of feeling, I'm not sure what went wrong.

I'm glad you like Saraiya Goyou, there is a very important question asked at the very beginning of the first episode, everything that happens in the show is about that question, so you could treat it a bit like mystery! It does comes of as very relaxing, but there are many things said (or not said) between the lines. I'm curious to what conclusions you will come in the end!

Haha, no there is no actual AlexanderXHephaestion in LOGH but (big spoiler)
ReinhardxSiegfried is very shippable considering that as manga originally it run in Chara so it was drawn by the same author who did illustrations for Ai no Kusabi. If I'm not mistaken Chara originally wasn't BL magazine but a shoujo (with some shounen ai) later LOGH was moved to shounen magazine. This is why I think that this whole shoujo/shounen/seinen/josei thing is a bit silly. Before the appearance for josie/seinen, shoujo featured brainy things like mystery/horror and the romance of course, shounen was all about action/adventure, because publishers though that boys will get bored if there were no constant fights and no manly men. Then the readers grew up/changed and weren't just interest in reading the office/housewife manga as adults, so enter Josei and Seinen, and the bottom line is that while some subject might be handled differently (i'm not going to say mature, because there is plenty josei/seinen works that are immature and v/v) the main difference is that Josei and Seinen don't have furigana, because the writer assume he deals with an educated person and that the prose might be a bit more sophisticated (which of course is lost in translation). So this whole shoujo/shounen/seinen/josei is a moot point to me and is only an indicator in what kind of magazine it was published, because thematically it's all very fluid and follow the reader's demand (or at least what is perceived as such). There were actually various attempts to merge the male and female demographics in one magazine. BTW, Hiroki Endo makes an interesting point about what and why something is deemed shounen on the cover of All-Rounder Meguru vol4. and it generally made me realize much more how all these terms are of little relevance to someone outside of Japan. And Tomoko Yamashita has mentioned once that she writes her yaoi in seinen style! So, go figure.

I like FMA, I like both FMA and FMA:Brotherhood, but I like the latter a bit more because it's longer. The first one has an anime original ending but since the author was involved in the writing you can see the hints of the actual ending in it. I think my favorite characters there are Alphonse, Roy and Riza (I wouldn't mind reading a story with romance and characters similar to Roy and Riza) and I really like the twist the author made with Greed in Brotherhood and I also like Winry, a very proactive female character.

I haven't read it but I'm going to check Angela Carter's The Bloody Chamber now that you've mentioned it (and since Yumemiru Koto is on hiatus and all), thanks!

But if it's only for fun and you actually get along well, it's all good :D I don't... There are some good things about being an only child, and I'm used to it so I don't really care, but I always wondered how it would be if I had some sibling. My life would be so different! I think I would like to, especially if it was a brother and he was a few years older or one-two years younger. I wouldn't like a big age difference, like ten years or so. Kuroki and her brother's age different would be great xD

Thank you for sharing it... or not =..="

Wow, really!? I had no idea, thank you for telling me! Now when I meet a girl, I'll just get naked in front of her and we'll love each other for eternity... or not [2] x)

Yeah, i searched a little about them and they exist indeed. They don't exist in Portugal, though. It's a shame, I think I would like to be in one... I don't know, it's cool to wacth it on an anime, but I don't know if I would like to actually be in one.

Liking Pokémon and dreaming about having a Digimon (or Pokémon, it's the same in this case) it's a liiiitle bit different xD But I agree with you, of course. I like kids' series, they're awesome sometimes :D (Specially animes)
Estherella Aug 14, 2013 2:23 AM
LOL I totally agree with what you said about Kaguyahime have a lot of GL undertones. Later on, there was so much BL understones that i felt extremely uncomfortable continuing the series. It's a very complicated relationship and i remembered how i didn't exactly know how to see the relationship between the characters. It's kind of messed up and yet their bonds are one of the deepest thing i ever seen. I only felt extremely uncomfortable mainly because i didn't actually quite see whether guys actually act like those guys did in Kaguyahime but either way the story was really interesting. I totally love it even if it's fk up XD

Glad to heard that you had read Please Save My Earth as well, at first it seemed pretty boring but it actually gets pretty interesting later on. It has 22 volumes and the author started a sequel for the series a few years ago. Though, i only read a few chapter of the sequel because there wasn't any scanlation group picking the project up and it wasn't as interesting for me either since the sequel series is focused on another set of characters. Well, to be more precise it's about their adult life i suppose but it's not the same main cast 9_9

I haven't actually heard of some of the stuff you mentioned, are those good series? :) They have very peculiar title. Ghost hunt is also one of my fav too <3 It is like the best shoujo series about ghost >W< I haven't read God child either but i know of it because that author have very gothic style in her art. It's very distinctive from the rest of the shoujo manga and her story tends to have a unique feel each to their own. Perhaps one of her most prominent series is Angel Sanctuary if i recalled. I haven't read that one yet but i heard it's pretty fk up and i love fk up things XD I totally forgot about it until you mentioned the God Child >.< I haven't been read much manga lately because i am quite busy with my school work and anime :x I am currently watching Zetsuen no Tempest and it's pretty interesting owo

I'm not sure if you would like School days though >< The characters ticks you off more than anything and most of the time their actions were more irritating than ever. Not the kind of fk up things i'd like and i could never see why it is satirizing. Other people could say what they want, but i can't see the gems in it at all. There was nothing about it that clicks for me and i didn't learn anything special from the series either. Perhaps, you could tell me about it too once you've watched it :P But, pretty much it was just your average borderline hentai harem game that the anime was adapted from except they chose the bad end for the main character in the series. I guess it's like a sort of tactic for the production company to leave some sort of impression on people i guess? It's true that the ending has made School days a much memorable anime than it should have and they succeeded.

I really like manhwa series although their drawings somewhat looks a tad bit weird at time but i'm totally fine with it because it's different from manga. The most distinctive differences between manga and manhwa is the drawing style mainly. Even a shoujo manhwa looks slightly different from your average shoujo manga. I like how each of them tends to bring a different feel and storyline. It's refreshing to read and most importantly for whatever the reason most female leads in the manhwa series are incredibly strong. As in how they don't have weak female lead at all like japanese manga does. I thought it was pretty interesting that korean manga did that they did o.o Even if some of them are weak in some way, they are less irritating and more tolerable. I love some of the art too in fact <3 Some of my fav shoujo manhwa is probably Normal City, Flower of Evil, Savage Garden, Seoul Hui, Bride of the water god, Ciel, Saverand Siesta owo There's probably more but i don't recall anymore than this for now. All of them has different plot and i liked that ;)

I totally share the same opinion as you about Majin Tantei Nougami neuro :3 Yako and neuro's relationships are so funny xD and interesting at the same time I actually kinda love how sadistic Neuro is :P I'd say he's a pretty unique character 9.9
Wildcat17 Aug 11, 2013 8:59 PM
Ahah, loved the gif xD

I'm not watching any of them, I'm sorry :O [Searching about Yami Shibai...] Well, the synopsis doesn't really appeal me and its score isn't so good. I think I'll just pass on this one... x(
Ahah, Kuroki's brother is cool and it's funny to watch Kuroki and her brother's scenes, but I somehow feel a little irritated because of the way he treats her. I mean, he's evil, she doesn't deserve it xD If your brother treats you the same way, you both should talk and change your relationship, it isn't right.
I don't really like shark teeth on human characters... I think. You have Kyouko from Madoka Magica.
- Girls also have the "nude in an apron" fetish xD
- Girls reeeealy like shirtless guys. I mean, I knew they like it, but so much?
- Girls also understand about specific muscles. It's not all about the abs! They also appreciate distinct muscles like biceps, triceps and such. Jesus, I really need to start to workout.
- (...)

Yeah, Blood Lad seems like a shounen. It has to be with the magazine in wich it's published, though. Nana also seems like a josei, but it's a shoujo.
Exactly!

I'm not sure if high schools like that exist. You never lived outside the city, but you've visited some farms and places like those some times, I suppose...

I also thought it would be yuri! Well, whatever. I like it anyway.

You should check it out, it's really funny :D

Kamisama no Inai gets better, believe me.
Genei doesn't try to immitate Madoka, it only uses the "dark mahou shoujo" theme. They're not comparable at all, although people like to try to compare them :/
Yeah, you did the right choice xD

Please do so :D
Oh, that's great! I can't agree with that, I think the series itself is waaay better than any of the movies. Movies are normal, I guess.
Ahah, I also dreamed with that! I still dream it some times. Now I'm embarassed since I'm 16 years old and still dreams about having a Digimon x)
Oh yeah, now I remember! Thank you for that link, it was useful. AHAHAHAHAHAHAH, no way, Agumon is his buddy, please don't make me imagine those kind of things xD
figuette Aug 9, 2013 7:45 AM
Oh that's ok, things been hectic on my end. I don't know of any literature about peristroika, I think it's a bit too early maybe in 10 years, I think that 30-40 is what consider to be cool down period for most historians to remove the "bias" of the generation that lived through events (that not to say that most history books are biased but whatever). My parents lived through it though and we still have relatives in Russia... and it was not pretty.

You are right about how Psycho-Pass flopped on existentialism, I think it would benefit either from more episodes or by trying to do much much less.

It's rather a complex matter but I don't know if I agree with that author who said that the common thread between psychopaths who engage in serial crimes is a perceived societal injustice (taken out of context) I guess it could be true for some. What separates psychopaths/sociopaths from other people is a complete lack of empathy. Empathy is something one is born with and if one lacks empathy it makes following social norms an irrational thing to do. Psychopaths/sociopaths are born predator because they view other people as a completely different unrelated entities, however for a psychopaths/sociopaths to become criminal certain triggers must occur through their life (nobody knows for sure what exactly because it's different for different people) so a serial killer is a product of both nature and nurture. This is why I brought the subject of consumer-resource system. Predator needs food, without food the Predators will eat each other and die off. There haven't been that many sociopaths rulers actually because governments don't deal with people on personal level and we all have a certain degree of indifference to strangers and events that occure far away (even if socially sometimes we are forced to pretend that it affects us). You are right however that we create perfect conditions to be the "food", media is just a reflection of our society and it's not that "we have become worse" it's that now with media we are much more aware of it.

Now Sybil

I kind of feel about Urobuchi the same way, thing is that after reading an interview where he talked about his collaboration with the director of Gargantia I think, it make me think that he doesn't have that much control about what he writes, plus writing for Nitro+ is out to leave you with some peculiar quirks. Admittedly Urobochi had little to do with Gargantia but I've also watched Phantom, Fate/Zero which seems to be his original works and Madoka for which he wrote the script. I think Gargantia had a lot of potential the first 3 episodes were great and there were the sort of relationships and characters in it that I liked and the concept as a whole was interesting. I liked Led as a person from a different culture and Chamber and I want to read a RackagexPinion doujinshi! (haven't found one yet) but as a whole impression it sort of fizzled down for me at the end. Fate/Zero bored me, I think I would be much more into it if it was more about Kariya Matou and his messed up family, but I could not care less about the main characters.
Phantom is very much La Femme Nikita and people get killed left and right just because the author can.

I've watched the first episode of Madoka and I'm actually very surprised that people needed 3 episodes in order to understand that it was "dark" I mean the main point of the story is spelled out in the very beginning of the episode, surely others must have seen it too. Basically it has CLAMP written all over it, I think. The Tokyo Babylon and X kind of CLAMP, in other words things might look shiny but there are no unicorns, prepare to be despaired.

I hope you'll like The Sparrow, I've been dying to talk about it, haha, so tell me when you manage to read it and what you've thought of it! (It has some very disturbing parts btw)

About Husk of Eden: Yeah there is definitely more to these children soldiers, I'm really looking forward to reading more.

And it's not so much the exploits of Alexander the Great in LOGH but more of his idolized personality and his relationship with a certain someone. Oh, and there is a yaoi that is sort of like draft of Yumemiru Koto called Harem de Hitori the stories are different but I can't help but think that Yumemiru Koto is a more developed version of those. Sometimes I think that Hoshino Lily only wrote yaoi because that's where she could publish her work and there is certain something about her writing that i've always liked and still do. Yumemiru Koto is definitely one of the her more mature (in thermof author growth) works.

About Death Note:
I've dropped it after I realized that Light is a villainous protagonist, I think he is one of few fictional characters that I ever had an urge to slap, I mean how much of a delusional control freak one can be??! I think I would liked it more if it was more focused on "one should not play god" theme, because it's not an absolute power corrupts seeing that he was already "corrupted". I was about to give the anime a chance but then I stumbled on FMA doujinshi and decided to check FMA instead and Death Note was forgotten. I do like villainous protagonist, but it's not very often that you get a villainous protagonist character that is a fully fleshed human, I guess they are the hardest to write.
Estherella Aug 9, 2013 1:22 AM
Lmfao! You sounded like you've been alive on the internet for at least a decade xD I haven't been on the internet that long, I actually only started using internet when i was about 11 years old so that was like 6 years ago 9_9 I'm glad to hear that you like some of the mangas that i've mentioned :3 I read long series exactly the way you do because it's too long and dreadful to wait for a new release. I'm actually quite surprised that you know some of the series that i've mentioned. Especially Kaguyahime since it isn't exactly well-known considering how it's a pretty old manga (almost 2 decades old) but i was really immersed into the plot and that was pretty unexpected. I totally get what you meant when you said it takes forever to update. This sort of things happens a lot to unpopular series since it gets dropped pretty often by the translations group which is really sad because it has great contents in it. It's a story that have more stuff to it than what it seems on the surface. I liked the plot twist as well since everything was quite fk up xD. I read through the whole 27 volumes on the chinese website, Kaguyahime gave me so many feels LOL The author of kaguyahime has pretty good series though some of them have a shounen ai undertones in it which i had avoided but i found it ok now and don't mind it as much as i used to now that i became more open minded.

Oh yeah, there's another old shoujo series that i really liked as well, it's called "Please Save my earth/Boku no Chikyuu o Mamotte". I am not sure whether you have heard of it though. It's another fantastic series that i thoroughly enjoyed (not as in making you all excited to the point that you can't breathe ) but like it has very interesting development in its story. I don't think there's other series that i can compare it to because it's pretty unique in its own way. Man, that's why i really like older shoujo series because all of them were pretty original and unique in its own way ;/ Meh but nowadays, it's just recycled stuff all over again and i don't understand why everything have to be set at school now. But i guess the same thing could be said for shounen series since most of settings in the story are school life except that at least shounen has some pretty interesting plots that could get me into the story. On the other hand, shoujo is really mainly about romance and drama which i have at least hoped it wouldn't be just the same old plain settings again ;_;

You should really start reading 7 seeds again :P Man the first time i read 7 seeds, i was hooked to it immensely. IT's the most realistic survival story in a after apocalypse story ( not as in everything was realistic but the author made it sound believable so you didn't really have any suspension of disbelief when reading it) since everything that happens in the story have a logical reasoning behind it. The character growth and development is also wonderful as well. Seeing how those characters went from bratty, cowards and doesn't know anything to become a very mature people, i was overjoyed :) I also like how the author depict the development of the characters' adaptations to its environment. It was really realistic and understandable and i really liked it. It reminded me how when people end up in an unfamiliar environment, they get scare and insecure. There's not much manga/series that does this nowadays. Even if i consider how shounen/seinen survival story, most of them tends to give a suspension of disbelief. 7 seeds is not just about survival but it is also about co-existent, teamwork and beginning their new life at a unfamiliar place. Gosh, i love adventurous series so much and i'm glad that 7 seeds is one of them XD The psychological aspects was not overdone and realistic to a great extent~ LOL that's why i love this author's work (Basara is the first work that i've read from the author).

You should also finish reading Basara :P It's a great story, somewhat poetic to the point it's like a Shakespearean story (romeo and juliet). It's a bit hard to stand the main lead sometime but the plot really pulls me in and the character growth and plot development is great as well. And yeah~! The main male lead do evolve and become a better person as the series progresses due to the interactions with other people. Basara is another series that would hold a special place in my heart because i never read anything like it. At first, i was really reluctant to read it because of the art since what brought me into manga in the first place was the beautiful artwork. In Basara's case, it wouldn't consider beautiful but it's unique and i came to like and appreciate it as i read along. Initially, i dropped the series at about ch 1 because i wasn't really into those sort of story just yet but the 2nd time i encountered the series, i decided to give it ago and this time i was hooked into the story so much that i had to finish it in just one seating. Though it has 27 volume of manga so i can't read it all in one day even if i want to but i did try to manage my time so i could read it asap. The development in the characters and story have always been spectacular in the author's case and i really appreciate such a great author is still kicking and alive making these wonderful story ;_; (7 seeds her current work, etc.)

About the manhwa flowers of evil, it does have a tragic ending but i assure you that you won't feel sad. The story left me with a big what the f moment and depression. That's all i can say but i thoroughly enjoyed every aspect out of it because it's nut. I really favour story that doesn't tend to go the way that i wanted or follow cliche pattern because i could predict all of them out most of the time. But it's really up to you and your taste. If you do like fk up story (no matter how fk up it is) or unexpected turns of events then I'll think you'll like it. I would say Flowers of evil is a pretty dark story o-0 not because it was super mind-fking to the point that it's unbearable, it's dark because it's disturbing and it does not leave you with a fluffy feeling because it DON'T~! XD Story that tends to repeat the same development and patterns doesn't leave much of a impression on me, not that i don't enjoy them but those that are more unexpected are more interesting and more memorable in my case. I always appreciate story like that though it's another case if the story is downright bad and horrible.

Now this may probably makes me sound like a hypocrite but story like school days for instance could never be acceptable in my opinion. I could never appreciate that story and i couldn't see it as some sort of fantastic satirical mediums like some reviews were saying out there because it wasn't even created for such purpose. I don't exactly buy the idea that it is realistic or perceptive, at least i don't see it because nothing about lovers killing each other ring a bell in my head, I just didn't seem to understand the value of having such development. I don't usually appreciate story that never have a theme or a purpose to learnt that is useful in life and the themes in school days wasn't something that i could appreciate even if i tried. All i could get out of that was that there are guys like that who is an asshole like the main character in the series, that was it. The melodrama in the series, i thought was done pretty over the top which i don't usually mind but when i see such an ending, all values of it were striped away in an instant. I couldn't understand what was it trying to do because that ending was just there for a shock factor. It's not like it's telling you that couples who cheat end up having their head chopped off like in the series. :U End of my rant ;_;

Faries' landing is a pretty old manhwa as well :P It's a shounen series and i thought the plot was pretty engaging and entertaining (oh~ one of the things i love about manhwa because they have some sort of feels that's different from a regular japanese manga). Unfortunately, the downside to the series was that it takes a very long time to update and i only recently heard that the author finally completed the series just about a year ago but the latest volumes wasn't released in english yet, well it will never came true now that Tokyopop is gone now. I wouldn't say it's a great serious but i enjoyed a lot out of it for what it is not because what i want it to be like. It's a series that can't be taken seriously and that's what the series does. It's a fun and harmless story and it holds a place in my heart because it's one of the first few manga/manhwa that i read when i was young. Plus the fact that there aren't much series that revolve around folktales and so i really liked the idea of that :3 I suppose you can check out the series if you ever felt so bore that you want to kill some time, then it's probably perfect read for you since the characters in the series are pretty comical and hilarious :3 (well, in my opinion i think it is o-o;) Not much people know about this series once again because it's not exactly well known ;_; and considering how it is a korean manga and all which is even worst LOL ;_;

As for the manga Claymore, i definitely recommend you to read it and i'm assuming your taste is pretty close to mine OwO It's a great series though the monthly release is a pain. It's a great shounen series and it is a dark fantasy that revolves around beasts/monster. It definitely have action in it but what i really love about Claymore is the plot development because it's not predictable because the main lead doesn't always win X'D There's also an anime for it too so if you going to check it out, i would say you should check out the anime first because the anime and manga is really different :( Quite some changes in the turns of events which is disappointing but the anime isn't bad. It's pretty good actually even if it did deviate from the plot ;_; That's how i started the series as well by watching the anime first then read the manga :D I found it more enjoyable to do things these ways than the opposite way since i wouldn't have to keep on complain about how the anime is so different from the manga. :P

I'm pretty sure you already know about this but Fairy Tail is a light hearted anime so it isn't exactly the kind of series you would enter to find some deep or dark plot because that's not what it is. To me, Fairy Tail is extremely enjoyable because it's similar to one piece in its adventurous genre and i thoroughly enjoyed every single episodes of it because i love adventures. It's the type of anime where you would watch it for the sake of entertainment values, kind of like how when people were young they would watch pokemon not because it was super good but they watched it because it was part of their daily things. Again, it's similar to how some americans/Australia watch the simpsons everyday because it's a daily thing. OwO That's how i would view Fairy tail. It doesn't exactly take itself too seriously. Oh yeah, i totally get what you meant though when you said something was lacking for you. I had the exact same impression about Fairy Tail when i first started watch the series however it gets better and have better depth as the series progresses. It is a pretty long series after all so i guess it's understandable why it takes so long to get into it o.e If you ever felt like watching a light hearted series or something enjoyable and not anything serious, i would suggest you to watch Fairy Tail :) What i mainly love about Fairy Tail is that it's entertaining and interesting for me to watch the character's adventure and their encounters with things since it is somewhat hilarious and comedic as well xD It has pretty unexpected turns of events as well and i thought it was greatly satisfying. Not to mention, the arcs in FT never last too long to the point that it seemed dragging, it's actually fairy quick and straight to the point when compared to other long series like bleach, naruto where their arcs can span up to 30eps+ e.o.......I never had the patience for such bullshit long battle so i like how Fairy Tail doesn't overdoes it like they do. The fillers in the FT anime is actually pretty decent as well~ It's not like out of nowhere or very sudden and felt unnatural like bleach and naruto is (though i did heard that naruto fillers were good but tends to feel like it came out of nowhere). Fillers only works pretty well with anime like FT and one piece because it's the adventurous type and anything could be added in there and still makes sense because it isn't confined to a specific world or values like naruto and bleach were. Assuming that you like Rave Adventure, i would think you would be able to enjoy FT as well if you have time to spare ^.^

I'm also pretty surprised that you know about Majin Tantei nougami neuro XD I really like the series and i read through the whole series in about one day and i love it XD It's a unique combination of detective story mystery + demon~ I never thought something like this could be pulled off so well and i genuinely enjoyed it from the bottom of my heart. Both the anime and manga likewise :) Even though the anime's version is slightly different from the manga but they are really entertaining :3 Not much of my friends know about majin tantei either so i felt a bit sad and unfortunate. Even back then when i was started to become interested in anime and manga, there just wasn't much people that i could talk to or discuss with and i didn't feel like talking about it with people on the forums either since i didn't think i know much about the internet world enough to be able to do that just yet (i guess you could say i just wasn't ready for the internet world :P ) o.o

Ahah, thanks :D

My favourites would have to be Watamote!, Danganronpa and [I have to admit] Free!.
Watamote! is my favourite. It's awesome! It's really funny and you can't hate Tamako, she's incredible. I feel really sorry for her and cheer her up through my computer screen xD It's also the first time I watch some series where everything focuses around just one character, I believe.
Danganronpa is right next to Watamote!. It's a survival, wich is a theme I'm really found of. All the mistery involved and the environment of the series are exceptional. The majority of the characters is interesting and Monokuma completely rocks ahah! He's the second evil mascot I know, or at least I remember (the first one is Kyuubey, of course xD).
Free!, well... I'm a dude, so I don't sexually appreciate male fanservice, but Free! is funny as hell xD Not so funny as Watamote!, but it's funny on its own way. The forced situations are incredibly nonsense, so nonsense that I laught with them. Plus, Kou is amazing. And I have a bonus watching Free!: I discover things that aparently girls like that I didn't even know they liked them! Free! is funny and useful ahah.
I already knew a little about Blood Lad since I had already read two chapters or so of the manga (then Yen Press announced it, so I stopped read it until I buy the volumes). I've only watch 2 episodes until now, and I have to say I thought it was better... I mean, it's fine and the art is awesome, but it isn't so funny as I thought it was. And I don't like the way Staz trats the girl-I-don't-remember-the-name-of [*goes to the anime page and finds it out*] (Fuyumi!). He started to treat her really well, but when
he completely changed! However, the references are good and... Yeah, I have to catch it up.
Fantasia Doll is... indifferent. I just don't care about it. It isn't bad, but it isn't good. Let's watch more episodes!
I still don't know if I like Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou or not. Until now [I'm on episode 3, sadly] it's not very good, but it has some intersting elements. The character design is irritating, but the art in general is quite good and flames-hair of the main character is awesome. The story is really basic, but... Yeah, I don't know. I believe it will improve.
Gin no Saji is good... I think? I like slice of life animes and animes spent on the "nature world", but there's something that Gin no Saji doesn't have... It started well, but I think it's decreasing. I don't know, I don't know. Maybe the characters aren't too much appealing and/or interesting?
Oh, Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi was a good surprise! I didn't really like it at the beginning, but it has been getting better and better with the time. Who knows if it will turn out really, really good? I hope so! Ai is great and the idea for the plot is original, what lacks is the pace of the anime. But it's getting there ;)
I regret starting to watch Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku. It isn't interesting at all, the characters are just [bad done] copies of other animes' characters and their topics of discussion are completely childish or even ridiculous. O hope it gets better, but I doubt it...
Love Lab is... normal. Medium. It's funny, but I kind of forget about it. I'm neutral here. I like the two main characters, though.
Recorder to Randoseru Mi is worse than the two previous seasons and the OVA. It's different! Maybe it isn't the same staff anymore... Oh, and the art is different (wich means it's worse!). I hope it gets to the level of the previous work... I really like Recorder to Randoseru.
I liked the first season of Symphogear more then Symphogear G. It can get better, though, since I've only watched 2 episodes yet. The first seasons wasn't a masterpiece, but it was quite interesting. At least we have Nana Mizuki singing!

[I wrote and wrote and wrote about Digimon, but I lost everything. Let's write again... *sigh*]
The original Digimon (seasons 1 and 2) is the best! All the plot, the characters and their relationships are incredible. And you gotta love the Digimons xD Also, you can't not-adore the Digi-Evolutions, the Digivices...!
When I was a kid, I loved to watch the original Digimon. I even played faking I was one of the characters or that I was in the Digiworld with my friends ahah xD Maybe that's the main reason why I can't like others seasons as much as I like the first two.
Don't get me wrong, Tamers is awesome. But it's not the same, you know... It's not the same universe, the same characters, the same Digimon. And here we have cards, wich isn't exactly the same.
Xros Wars is bad. It has nothing to do with the Digimon we like. The plot is almost inexistent and the characters aren't likeable. The Digimons are horrible and... well, it's really weird. I've only watched half of the first season, but I'm sure it won't get any better. It's sad having such a title on the Digimon franchise.
But if I remember correctly, didn't Tai

I checked your list and I saw you didn't watch 02! You have to, it's incredible, a masterpiece, a global need (ok, maybe I'm exagerating on this one, but anyway...). And I also recommend Tamers, of course, it's also really good (just forget the relations with the previous seasons).
I never understood that comparation with Digimon and Pokémon. They have nothing to do with each other aside the little monsters thing O.o
My only contact with the games was Digimon World for Playstation 1, wich I didn't like. I don't usually play games, altough I plan to start playing visual novels and some other games when I have the time. I would love to play the newest 2 PSP Digimon games :D

Sorry for the looooong comment. I told you xD
