Anyone else find it odd that there are native American portrayed in Japanese anime? They even have feathers and live in teepees. It is amazing how the myths of our westerns spread overseas to Japanese anime only to be exported back to us. It reminds me of a game of telephone.

Woot finally Tao enters the fray this is where things should start getting good. Never watched dragon ball before now but hes definitely one of the better known villains from the show.

So this episode marks the start of the Commander Red saga. Looks like we're nearing the introduction of two characters Korin and Mercenary Tao.

Have a feeling Blue is going to get slaughtered by Tao next episode.

Tao Pai Pai arrives, who some would argue is the first serious villain in the series.

this episode feels way too drawn out. probably could've made it's points in half the time.

Goku finally got the fourth-star dragon ball after so many obstacles and ridiculous enemies, most of them were rather simple to bypass. It feels like it will be short-lived, as General Blue, a very persistent quirky character who is the only one to do anything major to Goku and has the dragon radar, and mercenary Tao, who seems to be quite serious and highly infamous.

Uba's father was very impressive. It felt satisfying watching him stomping on Captain Yellow's troops. The episode seemed to have taken its time to introduce Uba and his father, signaling an important role for them in future episodes.

I feel like I have seen scenes of this before, and this is my first time viewing it, huh. Anyhow, it seems unreal that he was he even able to withstand that many bullets.

It was easy!!!

So much for this but Goku found the 4 star dragon ball very easily and also defeated General Yellow.

The father and son were awesome. A great lesson,

It's still Dragon Ball so it isn't exactly great, but I really want to get in to this series so I'll push through this series and start Z considering that's what I'm watching the show for

Goku has slowly but steadily been getting smarter. Realizing that Blue was probably still alive, and now recognizing RR planes. I'm so proud of him. And I like how Blue is still going to be a character going forward. I wonder what else he is going to do now.

The volcanic setting was super cool in the start of the episode and a lot of the camera shots involving the RR were super cinematic. I've heard a lot about this assassin guy so I'm interested so see what he's going to do. I also wonder if we're going to get any more background on that tall tower? looks super interesting to me.

Goku actually found Gohan’s ball? Glad to see it! I swear, this mercenary guy better not be another Murasaki.
