| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I actually got a pretty big laugh when the whole gang grouped up and there's just a huge poster for the upcoming movie. Something that I wasn't expecting was the reveal of Sakura's parents. I thought they were going to be revealed in the movie since I think it's a pretty big deal. Maybe not as big to some other fans of the series. |
| The one-shot did a way better job at piquing your interest in the movie and even that one was quite random. Instead of devoting the whole episode to Sakura, they had to do some recap crap at the end, seriously, fuck you for all those fillers, specials, recaps. While I did enjoy some of them, it's enough, don't break the fucking flow when we are in a goddamn war. Hinata was hot, she is the character I'm most excited about in the movie. |

| For a Filler this was actually good It peaked my interest for the Movie at least The rest of the jokes are at the same level as Rock Lee's show |

| This episode was pretty pointless aside from seeing Hinata in that dress. Tho that Sakura seemed to come from a pretty interesting world in a way i guess and now we also know who Sakura's parent's are. And what was up with that news flash like thing? |

I remember her in an episode (I think), where she told her mom she was leaving the house. o_O Naruto inside Naruto. What is this inception? |

Em i hearing this right, sakura's parents were revealed. Im still in shock by this news, ill have to check this episode out. I wonder why kishimoto never included any of sakura's past circumstances or family into the story. Maybe its a prelude or foreshadowing to a mystery later in the manga? Probably not but it would be nice to see her past like all the other characters instead of leaving her high and dry like that. You know kishi says that "naruto" was the one always alone? What bout sakura, shes the only damn character in the entire series that has no characters that are of her blood line. Has no relation to anyone in the whole show. She is the real loner in the show, aside from what they shown in early series with her hugging some mans leg in the sakura and ino flashback. Other wise she is like tobi, she's a fucking mystery. |

It doesn't matter where the anime is currently at, when a movie's release date is set, they have to break the flow of the story in order to release a special to promote the movie, thats just how things work in the medium. Same thing happen with one piece, bleach, they always have certain episodes that are "specials" that break the flow of the story because of the certain date of what ever they are promoting rather it be a new movie or a holiday special. It is not filler and is not meant to be filler. Honestly the manga is so far ahead still we don't have to really worry bout any filler arcs until probably after the war arc is finished which it is pretty much at its climax in the manga currently. Aslo speaking in regards to this episode, if you notice closely their are quite a few secrets about sakura, that was never ever explained before, rather its just part of the movie road to ninja apart of the canon story later on remains to be seen. That would be nice though to see her parents and her past further explained in the canon story. Actually kishi mentioned that he might want to take some surprising developments and material from the movie and place them into his main story if he gets the ok from the editorial department, that would be nice to see. |

| I guess the reason why Sakura whose from the parallel world made them(her friends) do those things was because they were probably like that in the parallel world...? e.g Shikamaru was really... dumb at his world? And the parallel Sakura's real parents are actually dead, therefore her reaction was quite surprising(I think most of you can see that). If you watch the trailer of the movie, on the contrary, Naruto's parents are alive on the parallel world and Naruto from the real world unite with them. This episodes sure does made me want to watch the movie, but too bad I'll have to wait a long long long long time in order to watch though. This would be an extremely boring episode to those who have absolutely no interest in the movies. PS: I really like the scene of Naruto and bee towards the end of the episode. |

It was pretty sweet and hilarious at the same, but, its actually a prequel to the upcoming movie. have to say though i am really excited to see what kishi moto has instore for us for this movie, not only int the movie, but if its possible that he may transition some of the material to the original manga work. After all, not only did he direct and write the movie, but he also established character designs as well, such as sakura's parents. |
