I thought to "draw out the soul" of the pass, he'd have to commune with the soul, like he would his zanpakuto or something. ^^; I almost thought he was going to do so until Chad started shouting about pride. I was like, "Shut up Chad, you're interrupting him!"
Going by shinto beliefs and pantheism. Soul of object is your experiences with it. Your activities with the item or place ARE the ritual itself to honor it and commune with it.

Anyway did they changed the Manji a bit ? it seems like the outgoing strokes are more centered than in the manga where they connect to the outer strokes end.
not really. They mostly just added it more "unstable" flaming stuff to it and made it more similar to aizen's sun cross(which is exact same symbol thematically, hence connection between aizen and ichigo symbolically)

I like Giriko but he doesn't seem to be the type of guy you can trust. Its hard to believe he wants to get rid of his powers, I mean, what type of guy who wants to get rid of his powers puts such "Bogus" (Foul) terms, like seriously?
The way he talked about his power seems that he either did something with it he can't undo or something like that and does not want that responsibility, imo.
I think the fact that Ichigo can use fullbring makes absolutely no sense. If he can use it now, that means he could've used it back then when he lost his powers. I mean, someone who has lost his powers must've thought about moments in which they beared pride for their power. You can't tell me that he wasn't able to do activate it a long time ago but suddenly he can do it now.
remember that Ichigo broke through rukia's binding spell even before he got shinigami powers?
And chad hit a hollow with a telephone pole which is supposedly impossible.
the idea of FB has been there since start. just not named.

I don't understand either. I was under the impression that only Ginjo and the others can use that Fullbring thing. So I was quite surprised when they told Ichigo to bring it out. Well, whatever, it's Bleach. xD
ichigo had enough contact with hollow energy, hell HE HAD HOLLOW energy in himself as part of shinigami powers.
that very fact should be enough for him to draw out his power.
Also lets not forget that Kubo did say that the secrets surrounding Ichigo's birth will make us look at story in entirely different way. We don't know Ichigo's power sources yet. We don't know the mystery behind GETSU swords that both he and hi sfather have(and both have same technique) we don't know the mysteries behind Isshin nor behind Aizen nor why aizen's sword is also -getsu, nor how Aizen knows Ichigo "since his birth"
ichigo's birth and existance is shrouded in mystery :)
DoublebladeX said: Well I don't read the manga, but I assume little things are added and certain scenes are presented in slightly different ways that all together can make the anime adaption better or worse?
it just generally has to do tha tmost of people just skim through manga and claim "nothing happened". However when anime adapts, each panel gets enough attention to catch even those with short attention spans.
The fact that due to Kubo's bigger involvement with anime development team we are getting some things expanded upon is also nice.

But it was quite easy for Ichigo to obtain the power of "Fullbring."
Well, Ichigo is a fast learner......
THIS.
ichigo is a very talented when it comes to learning.
Let's not forge that Ichigo manages to stay at the top part of school grades without even learning or caring about it. Its implied that he could hold top1 position witho0ut any problems.
Then we have all his training cases and how fast he seems to grasp information.
Ichigo is not just a "brawler" he is a genius. |
