I can't believe I watched this in 10 days in the summer. Enjoyed every bit.

It took me about a month in summer 2008. I watched 4 episodes a day late at 2:00 am XD

I then hunted for the prequel movies and then the gaiden which I have yet to finish; it just didn't impress me like the OVA and the movies did.

Can't quite remember, it's been a long time, but I think I watched all the main series and the movies and some of the gaiden in about 10 days. I think that would've been about 5 years ago.

I also watched it in about 2 weeks. It might not be normal to watch it that quickly, but it's not terribly uncommon either, judging by this thread.

About 3 weeks, I wanted to take as long as possible, but ended up seeing about 4-8 episodes a day (not everyday)

I watched it over 7 days and 8 nights (4th Dec to 11th Dec) in monster sittings. I can't think of any other anime I could possibly do that with. I hope I one day get the chance to buy this in english as a box set (I would still watch with subs since I can't imagine another voice for Reinhard ever) .

Quick thought-
Considering the number of revisits to old shows in recent years (Appleseed, Guyver, Fist of the North Star, Casshern, Robotech, Dragonball, Ghost in the Shell, Gundam and Evangelion as quick examples) this should be a great candidate for similar treatment. What better way for it to finally see an official english release than on the tail of a new entry/reboot or somesuch. I want this space epic on blu-ray :D

Obviously I wouldn't have done it if I didn't enjoy it =D.

I've finished the the movie and first Ova in two weeks. I watched approximately ten episodes a night. I'm tired now, time to sleep. I'll continue this quest to finish the rest of this franchise at a later date.

It was a great ride.

I took around a month and a half, only because the torrents were a lil slow around that time. I remember having watched 10 episodes a day, instead of studying. But I didn't care :)

It took me about five days to finish the first season. This is while I am really busy in my life. It's one of those series where you can watch episode after episode after episode without feeling like enough is enough or that there is too little. I could probably let it sit for a while and pick it back up at any time from where I left off.

Just finished and it took 9 days for me. I would gladly have watched it in less time, but I'm performing at a wedding this weekend and have rehearsals every day. Would've been 5-6 days otherwise.

Since marathoning is my preferred method of watching anime, this wasn't that much of a surprise, though this is the by far the most magnificent show I've ever marathoned. I think it benefited greatly from that treatment, too. Being able to remember everything while watching it added to the experience. XD

About 1 1/2 months I guess. For me, when I watched an episode of LOGH I had to watch more. So I only watched it on days where I knew I could watch at least 4-5 episodes a day. So in fact I often watched no episode for 10 or more days and then again 14 episodes in a row. I just couldn't bring myself to only watch 1 or 2 episides of this in one session, because imo the series is greater if you watch the episodes bundled, cause almost all the time the episodes start directly where the last one left off.
I probably regret this post by now.

The first time around was in 2008. It took me around 9 months, but I was working a lot then, so I rarely had that much free time.

My second viewing is going by incredibly fast. I have a job now to where I can actually watch it during work hours, because it's so slow in the morning and I can get in about 5 episodes a day there. I'm 14 days into the series and I'm already on episode 55.

I watched all the movies plus the main OVA in, um, 12 days. And yes, glorious days they were. I couldn't stop, I actually had to drag myself to sleep and eat.

It took me around a year. Mostly because of school and work, but mainly because I'm a lazy bum. I even went a whole month without watching a single episode. Eventually, I had to buckle down and watch an episode or two every night before I went to bed. I may have lost uncountable hours of beauty sleep, but the bragging rights were worth it.

5/12/2015~6/18/2015 This includes both Gaiden series and the Golden Wings movie. So around 38 days for 162 episodes + 1 movie.

I finally found a place to watch Overture and My Conquest is the Sea of Stars and I finished those up the past two days. So I didn't include them in my marathon run.
