Really happy that Sentai is giving Gintama another shot, and with it being a blu-ray release, that means an english dub may come along with it (Sentai always gives anime with a blu ray release an english dub).
"The R1 Anime business is a cruel and shallow financial trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side."

Dub officially confirmed. Also an official statement that anytime a Sentai title gets a blu-ray release it will include a dub.

http://www.fandompost.com/2012/02/10/gintama-the-movie-will-be-dubbed/

"We inquired about that this morning have received confirmation from David Williams that the release will indeed be bilingual (no cast announcements at the moment unfortunately!) and that according to current policy, if a blu-ray is solicited, it will be bilingual."

That's great news. I love Gintama. Does anyone know if Sentai has licensed any more of the TV series?

It will have the japanese audio with subs right?
That alone would be worth the $40.

All R1 DVDs are either subbed only or billingual w/subs. So yeah you will have the option to change it if you don't like the dub.

I really hope they don't screw up the dub; i was never able to picture Gintama with a dub, but what i don't get is they released part of the series only subbed, so why do the movie now dubbed? Is it to measure if the rest of the series is worth dubbing based on the profits?
