| Mahoromatic ~ Something More Beautiful, second-to-last episode: The music in that sequence is excellent as well, as it was a track that hadn't been used up to that point in the series. Luckily, the producers were smart enough to realize that cutting into the normal peppy, bouncy ending theme wasn't a good idea. So instead, they used a slowed-down, piano-only version of the opening, which worked a lot better to let the sentiments of the loss sink in. That's why I find it so memorable. |
