| I'm starting to wonder if Tae is some sort of lucky charm. I mean she ALWAYS gets away for no apparent reason whatsoever. It's like all of a sudden the aliens are like "We've tortured and killed enough for the day so we'll let you go." I know she is a "main" character (or at least a major supporting character) but I just wish her escapes were a bit more believable and had reasons behind them. |

And I don't really mind Tae being saved by pulling a puppy face, since it's all just meant to serve as a buildup for when she meets Kei anyways. |

| I commend Fra and the giant that caught Tae's compassion for creatures that are inferior to them ♡ There's hope for them all to coexist but as long as the giants' military force is still around, that'd be a pipe dream. Everyone else is getting torn apart by that creepy sewer-like ecosystem. |

| So many of them show kindness and respect for life. They also have the same problems as us. This manga is pretty much on the nose with all that stuff, but how it's depicted is really outstanding. |
