| I agree; this was anti-climatic. I'm still waiting to find out what Zeref's connection is with Natsu. I wanna see their fight sooooo bad. Other than that, nothing too much to say for this chapter. Except...Well, this is me reading this chapter... *Ultear stabs self* Me: Hm...a little OOC for her, but...wait a minute...a character in Fairy Tail who tries to commit suicide...and succeeds?! An evil villian...who dies?! Oh, hellz yes! Finally! It's about time, too because- *Page 15* Me: Motherf*cker!! Every. Damn. Time. What, are they ALL immortal?! She stabbed herself and went in the ocean. Why?! And...what's this?...Ah, again with the emotions. Not only does she live, but they, literally, make an emotional connection. Now I regret reading friggin Gantz right before this...*sigh* ...so close... *cry* |

| Am I the only one who actually kind of likes the fact that Zeref turns out to be one of the good guys? I mean, it did look like that was probably the case from when he first appeared. What with his whole "I don't want to kill anyone" thing. You can't tell me you're all surprised? Though I must admit that it is pretty anti-climatic... Seeing as a similar thing happened with Jellal it feels like the whole scenario is getting a bit overused here. I wonder who is supposed to be the bad guy now? Can we assume that if it's a bishounen he'll turn out to be a good guy as well? lol |

| Great chapter. Always nice to see what happens to side characters. Happy ending for Meredy and Ultear for now at least. Zeref might be a good guy now but what if that Acnologia thing can force him to snap and unleash hell upon the earth? If you don't like the fact that Zeref is the good guy drop the manga and forget about. I for now will keep reading and enjoy all the other characters. Not that I care on what side Zeref is. We will finally get to see Acnologia! Be it Black Dragon or Female Dragon Slayer of Death I can't wait ^_^ It probably going to be something dull like falling rock from space or dunno... I haven't played Final Fantasy vi so I don't know. |

And wtf is acknolia it must be bad ass if zeref is so worried about it and if it is his one sin. At least Hades is dead hopefully. | Nice chapter I kinda like the fact that zeraf is a good guy. Though that Ultear bit was a bit pointless. Lol hades dies after being let off the hook by FT. Theres no break for the guy. |
| I also like the latest chapter. It was not I expected too since they build up so much 'Zeref is bad' from the start made people confuse. The build-up was for nothing. It didn't said anything who was Zeref in the first place right? XD Can't wait for next week. |
| Why Mashima? In Rave Master people died and it made great twists, so why can you just let someone stay dead here? It seems like [ridiculous] power of nakama can save you even when you stab yourself >_> Anyway, I don't really mind Zeref being a good guy, but I still kind of hope that he will be controlled or something and turn evil, even for a short time ;p And this Acnologia thing - it would be cool if it really had a connection with dragons. |

| Good lord. It seems like no one has much patience for plot anymore... Why are people thinking that just because he's punishing the last bad guy that Zeref is automatically a "good guy"? Fairy Tail is pretty simplistic, but I'd like to give Mashima more credit than that. I've got faith that he'll still deliver. |

| Actually I rly loved this chapter. Had a whiel to see such a good one! I mean yes fighting bad guys is their thing but it's kinda the same by now. This was a bit different and as others said, nice to see the side characters! Also yes, Zeref suddenly being a good guy was kinda meh after spending sooooo many chaptesr of mentioning him in fear only to see he fights for the importance of life lol... but I still loved it 8D |

| The next chapter should be devoted to Ultear and Meldy whatever getting their lesbian on. I'm not sure about Zeref being a 'good guy' yet, but I hope at the least he unintentionally kills a bunch of people or something badass. Please. |

| There was no way Urtear could commit suicide; I mean, there is just no way i simple knife could pierce all that and reach her heart. Also, I don't remember anyone actually saying Zeref was the ultimate antagonist for all of you to be surprised of him being a victim of his oun powers. Around 90% of Mashima villains come with an interesting background that makes them who they are. |

| I don't care if Zeref is supposed to be a 'good' guy, he's actually the only one in the manga who does some real killing. every. fucking. time. How does that make him a good guy anyway? You're good if you let your enemy live on after defeat, after you've speeched about choosing a new path to carry on. Zeref doesn't do that shit, he jumps up the scene and just immediatly rips your brain out. |

| Jose Porla > Hades and Zeref put together. Enough said. Back on topic, Zeref is NOT a good guy, shit. He seems more like the fallen hero type. Those are always the more psycotic and ideal-crazy than your typical "I'm going to destroy/rule the world". Why can't some people accept the fact that Mashima is trying to add more depth to his final antogonist. I'd much rather see a good guy experience the horrors of life and his brain being corrupted slowly and painfully, then finally crack to become one of the craziest fucking bastards that would kill anyone in a blink of an eye. Finally when he was able to revert a little bit of sense back in himself after 400 years, the current villains were able to "AWAKEN" that memory/scar in his heart that brings him back to his crazy bastard stage. Give Mashima some time. - I'm glad Ultear didn't die there, she has much more potential in this story, not to mention she's hot as hell. ^^ -Acknowlogia is likely to be the black dragon or possibly a ship or arc of somesort. Pluton from One Piece anyone? |
