Thanks for the answer Ardeur.

I too think that Emily should have been done and released by Nippon animation and therefore belong under the WMT moniker, but it wasn't, which doesn't makes it less spetacular. Also, it was a work from Anne Of The Green Gables author, which makes it a plus.

But in reality, that anime as some others are another issue and have already been pointed out on the Recommended non WMT series for WMT fans topic.

Now, I know that Ruizu also has some interesting RAW torrent links to share, come on Ruizu, share your stuff. :)

"Ie Naki Ko" (1977 Non-WMT anime serie) was totally english-subbed by Takara Fansubs.

i guess i should do that- if i know it will be found-and used- and seeded. i'd like to do via baka torrent but despite qualifying with my uplaod ratio i can't web design yet- the whole thing is too complicated to set up so i would have to do via isohunt. i put wizard of oz on rapidshare but the non stop laboring is life sucking and i'm too broke to renew my account.
i planned on putting all my non-subbed stuff on youtube so look up itchytastyurr's channel! you can see two full series up so far and more to go.-
i actually feel bad about it as i can be accused of pirating- but i'm not selling- and just got into a rant from some dude on youtube for posting responses and request to seed the raws- his vid was the spanish intro to katie the cowgirl- and said i was a pirate- after i explained the notabilities of sharing anime not made for english consumption- even subbed stuff thats agonizing to find he goes- it is being sold- in the japanese market and to any distributor who will buy it. i swear.
fine i'll do it but make sure you put priority on downloading the episodes individually- complete one episode at a time so we get a nice roll-out. im really struggling with little women 2- and it ain't fun having fractured episodes!

good news! (anyone here?) i as well as healing the original raw for rascal (still in progress) after hours of trolling i finally found some intact raw files for 'little women 2' at

its in tai so must use google translate to register and then you can dl the files from mediafire or megauplaod. use these same files to heal the torrent that has so many peers but at present no seeders. hopefully there may similar titles there to heal the other torrents too.

Little Women 2 is being subbed so I don't think you need to worry about that.

As for the Trapp Family Story torrent. I'm not sure what the deal with these are. It wants me to download some program and are you seeding it? A normal anime torrent site like BakaBT is the way to go here. Maybe you can send it over to Neo who's one of the best uploaders when it comes to classics.

well my reason for trying to fix any torrent is to actually complete the dl- which is impossible if there is not one seeder with all files intact- the high peer count to me is a sign of the raw brands ability to be found and is a common search result- it would be a huge loss to let them die. i'm glad someone is doing a good job of subbing them and watched the first ep, but this takes lots of time- they seem to be using the raw releases for that so clearly they are an essential resource. i also prefer the option to watch them unscathed by embedded subs.
As for needed software you mentioned i can't think of anything you would need unless you have not yet installed a torrent manager/down-loader like utorrent. you will also need winraw to uncompress. i also recommend ccc pack with windows media player classic- this is due to the fact the rips are interlaced and the player helps reduce the artifacts that can occur during fast motion. obviously there are filter techniques but i don't know the best formula- it was best to leave them at their sharpest.
pass on to neo? how do i shift a 9gig+ file anywhere with out a torrent?
and yes i am seeding- i made the torrent and as such am the only seeder- the torrent was only made last night. i will stick to my guns but will have to upload a few pollyanna eps on youtube soon (that takes a whole night) and my dads switching to sky, to save a few bucks. other than that my laptop will stay on till the jobs done- unless it burns out. so if you do get this please seed it and tell your mates etc.

p.s turns out my rapidshare files of woz have been deleted- don't know when but they did work. it uploaded to youtube faster anyway.

If you have an Asian DVD Club account, someone over there is working to sub the rest of the Trapp Family Story using the Taiwanese R3 DVDs: "World Masterpiece Theater Project" Thread

(I haven't introduced myself in that topic yet I need to tell them I have all the Swiss Family Robinson episodes dubbed English so they don't have to use an online translator to translate from Italian)

@Alcoholic: Only problem is I'm not a big fan of them. For starters they only release in ISO's, and secondly I have seem them rip other groups subs and do re-releases of their own, and it looks like they don't really get permission from (still active) groups to use their work. Not a great community from the things I saw when I struggled to get the Cat's Eye season one ISO's, not to mention they are insanely critical about keeping a good ratio, so you almost have to upload ISO rips (WTF) or get lucky like I did and grab torrents that or freeleach and seed them for awhile. I had to do that for awhile by grabbing like 3 movies, 20GB worth of crap, just to seed it so my account wouldn't get deleted.

I know BakaBT enforces a little sharing, but I have never once had to upload anything or purposely download something for the sake of keeping a good ratio.

@247wkman: I also agree with Alchoholic, Megaupload is better than RS all the way. If you can do that, I could easily make a torrent of whatever series you're uploading on nyaatorrents. They're easier to upload for than BakaBT, which kind of requires some fancy work on their torrent pages and all.

yea megaupload has been a pretty usefull source for me- live-evils trapp family dubs are using it, and i did the free registration even though i'd dont need to dl them. of course then i read the free membership only includes viewing streams and uploading, you have to pay to dl, according to the free membership terms so i don't get how i'm able to have dl the other stuff for free. i will try and upload to that anyway and give a beep when done!

As for rapidshare i used the almost exclusively on raidens lair- an awesome site the showed me old stuff i never heard of (i loved cosmo zone 2772) and well worth the membership on that account- i would look it up if i were you.

And again- swiss family dubbed? i got the dvds so i'm a happy owner the jap/no subs. i did have this nagging fealing it was one of those titles that may have showed on tv as a kid like heidi and pollyanna but have no solid memory of it. i would like i link to it if possible.

You definitely don't need to sign up for megaupload or pay to download. Under the "Premium Download" button there should be a counter, when that counter runs out then there should be a new button for "Regular Download" which is the free one. You don't even hae to register to upload anything either! It's all free.

@Echelon: Yeah, keeping a good ratio at that site is seriously difficult. I had to download the weekly golden torrent and seed it to hell despite the fact that I have no interest in the video itself. This was all done so I could download those damn Little Women DVDs without getting banned. Now bandwidth is unfairly expensive here in Canada along with terrible upload speeds, so it took me forever to get my ratio up.

@247wkman: You should sign up for a free basic account for Megaupload as the timer is reduced to 35 seconds. When you sign up, you can upload up to 200 GB worth of files. Plus you can delete any files you uploaded previously which you can't do as an unregistered user. They say that your file will be deleted after 90 days without any downloads, but I read this is false and your stuff stays there indefinitely (or until you yourself decide to remove it).

Other advantage of Megaupload: If you use a download manager (i.e. JDownloader or Mipony), you don't have to enter the CAPTCHA each time you download a file. Great for lazy people like me who don't have to be at the computer when downloading multiple files :D

little women 2 (1-40- not the split one!) is now fully healed- i never saw a full seeder show up in my the week+ i had this torrent so glad got i found the other source- now i just gotta seed. http://vnsharing.net/forum/showthread.php?p=6879453 i repeat i got them from here- but not sure if you will see them, if your not logged in. i might have to break up my trapp raw into segments- it said 20hrs to upload and in things went wrong...

http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1866.html licca is doing great jobs on various titles but only little woment 2 here. find subtitle srt's for any title in any language the post links- i translated "lady georgie" from italian using italian to english using googles translator (it does not work for rusian alphabete subs) so find them in any language and post.
i will do same (i'm after pollyanna (licca did it but i want srt) heidi, sinbad, flone, tico and friends, remi, huckle, tom soyor, wizard of oz, lord fourtlory, princess sara- just any language srt that is not gobaldi-gook rusian

I doubt if it's a good idea. Don't get me wrong, but there's a reason why people do that work manually, instead of relying on automatic translators. Without basic knowledge of the language you aren't able to even be aware of the existence idioms and more complicated grammatical constructions. Moreover your English seems to be a little worse than level I'd expect from translator. Don't be angry, but it would be just a wasted effort.

Actually I started that thread at ADC, good to know there are a few othes that have looked at it.
Please pop in over there again when the site goes back up, and introduce yourself, and tell us what you have to share toward any project.

The dub could be added to the DVDs, and of course, like you said, be used as a source for a subtitle (more accurately a dubtitle, tho definitely better a dubtitle than no subs at all, and better than a google translation from the Italian subs, which are probably a dubtitle already).

The downtime at ADC (moving to new datacenter) has made me venture outside of it for forum discussions, so here I am using this account really for the first time, even tho I have been a member here for a few years :innocent:

anyhow, I will be looking through this thread some more thoroughly later.
There are many WMTs I still haven't seen so this is a sweet thread. Eventually I would like to have all of them on DVD, as that is my preference, but for now I am out of HDD space so I am just catching up on watching things I already have.

Okay I uploaded the first post.

Many good things have happened to the WMT world of fansubbing over the last few years, fortunately.
In 2005 for example, I couldn't find any info on it on the internet, those days are over it seems. :)
Some of those good things include for example the arrival of Licca Fansubs which are absolutely exceptional at their work, stunning commitment. Takara Fansubs and Silver Zero Subs are other good examples.

* I have added also the random episodes of Fabbles of the Green Forest. I cached a pair of those episodes a couple of years ago, but I never knew there were more of them somewhere.
* I added the covers of the 2000 specials. I think they fit together perfectly here.

Thanks for the Wizzard of Oz anime, I saw that one on the old days and have fond memories of it.
I saw Sara uploaded there too, but Licca Fansubs already did an exceptional work on that last year.
You shoud share further youtube links on the Free Raw Anime episodes (full) from Nippon Animation on YouTube topic. (of course it's free Ruizu.) to avoid users from being lost and for easy consulting when browsing the forums. Makes it easier for everyone.

Why, on youtube do you have Sara named "Hyper Princess Sara"?
Where can we find the Family Trapp anime subbed from episode 25 onwards?
What other WMT series do you have to share with us and where can we find those links?
