| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- so it looks like we have another ghost ship for OP. This time its a cursed ship called the flying dutchman under a captain called Van der Decken. Good news is that the monster trio make it back to the ship and it looks like they've tamed the kraken(probably through Haoshoku haki). Funny moment when Franky catches Cariboo hiding in a barrel scheming, so decides to lock him up in it, and naming the kraken Surume(which is what they name those dried squids you see in anime that they eat as a snack) Now just wondering if that giant that whacks that angler fish is from Elbaf or a race like San Juan Wolf. |

| nice chapter .... not overly good, but good. it seems like next chapter or NEXT NEXT chapter will finally be Fishman Island arc. at least i hope so ...... and i wanna see more crew skills :( |

| Man I lost it at the part where Franky found Caribou. I swear ever since the crew got back he's been nothing short of hilarious and amazing. Brook's reaction to the flying Dutchman was also wonderful. It's these kind of chapters that make One Piece so utterly amazing. |

| Cool chapter, definitely. I'd really like to see what Van der Decken looks like . . . or what he is going to do. If he becomes some kind of major villain or something, well, that would mean Oda really doesn't want the crew to go fisherman's island ha ha. |

| Lol. Franky was pretty funny this chapter with the barrel and nipple light works. Luffy coming back with Kraken was pretty predictable though. |
| Well, i don't think this arc will be the last one with the Kraken. My guess is he's going to show up somewhere in the future, maybe when Luffy & CO battle the Blackbeards or something. Anyways, great chapter. Franky was really hillarious this time xD |
| So the Kraken is tamed. That will be very useful considering the monsters that are there. So the crew will have a confrontation with Van der Decken and the Flying Dutchman crew. I guess it should be there since One Piece is a pirate story and all. It's a famous legend. So is this their first strong enemy that will make them show us their new powers? Btw Caribou is a complete idiot. Watching him thinking of plans with tongue hanging out while Franky was watching him was hilarious. |
| Franky was hilarious when he found Caribou :P The 3 are back, never doubted them for a second ;) Taming a Kraken, now THAT is one hell of a feat. I wonder what Caribou is thinking about all of this, eventually I want to see him get his ass kicked by Luffy. |
| I have some difficulties understanding Caribou plan here. He said it himself : he won't get anywhere if he kills the crew on the boat while they are underwater, so he should just have kept a low-profile until they reached Fishmen's island. But well, that did make a pretty hilarious scene, and I guess he is just pretty stupid after all. I really like Caribou hey, he kinda grew on me. He's stupid and ugly, yet he's not so one-dimensional as when he first appeared, and is actually a pretty good comic relief. Though I'm the first to reckon that it's nigh-impossible, him joining the crew would definitely be a sight to see, if only to watch how Oda pull it off, and get to see some many angry fans~ |

| Anyone remember those shadows from the sea right after the Thriller Bark Arc, anyone? But still that giant looks like San Juan Worf by alot, face and beard , round head as well. The fact Caribou is an idiot, means he is gonna end up at least as an ally at this point. Still Flying Dutchman, I never expected that in One Piece, good LOL moments from Franky and Brook. |

Nipple light morse code, and giving caribou the "wtf r u doin" look.kinda thought they were gonna let the rest of the crew show off against umibouzu, but then kraken just popped up outta nowhere and kicked its ass hard xD Gotta love the flying dutchman.. i wonder if we're going to meet davy jones while we're down here? lol |

| Ha! I loved the bit with Franky and Caribou. I'm starting to see Caribou more as an option for joining the crew the more he's stuck on that ship. I'm still betting on a fishman/mermaid to hopefully be the new crewmember. This chapter was great fun on so many levels. Seeing Oda use the legend of the Flying Dutchman was great. I'm excited to know more about this new captain. Friend or Foe? And see a Kraken beat the sh*t out of a giant underwater giant isn't something you get to see very often, even in manga. That was hilarious and awesome!  |

| looks like size doesn't matter in this series, since Luffy can overcome any big creature they encounter. Seriously that Kraken is big, way too big too possibly be tamed... |
