| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dan's team is going against the team of Eclipse. I still prefer Dan to call Rouge by her name instead of 'Idol Red'^^ It's good to see them together talking again in this episode. Dan is worried about Rouge when he realise her head hurts but she threw a ball on his face and said that she's alright. Then the next day, the game between Dan's team and the Eclipse starts^^ The crowd are mostly on the Eclipse side but Iceman is loved by many homself^^ Dan's basquash and Iceman's Destroy are giving them an upper hand in the match. Something is wrong with Rouge which affect her performance in the middle of the game, and Dan immediately went to see what's wrong. Citron and Violette went to find Dan and told him what happen causing Dan to run to where Rouge is. I love when Dan uses his bigfoot to create the melody with his basquash, Rouge can hear/see it as she's in a floating transportation and she sings along with Dan's music^^ Dan make a promise to Rouge saying he will win the tournament and go to the moon to see her so he wants her to wait for him. ^_^ I really want Dan to go to the moon and hopefully Rouge is alright when he gets there^^ |

| Hmmm so they're planning on making DanxRouge a main part of the storyline or what? Not sure what they plan on doing with this anime. There's just a whole bunch of shit going on. | Wow, this episode kicked so much ass. Best episode of the season by far! Well, actually the first episode might have been the best but this one was seriously awesome. What's with the manager though, they sounded like they wanted to keep pumping her full of drugs and kill her. I'm hoping Slash isn't that much of a bad guy and was planning to stop him after he heard that. But yeah, it seems like Miyuki is getting more and more frustrated at this but honestly she plays such a minute role in this anime so I don't really seem to care. Rouge x Dan would be much better. |

| NOOOOO!!! Poor Rouge. Turns out Team Eclipse is juiced, which explains why they were able to play at such a high level. But Rouge wanted to play Dan on equal footing, stopped her intake of nutritional supplements and her body broke down as a result. Too bad he wasn't able to catch up with her before she left, but his message, while kinda corny, was nicely done. Sadly, Rouge and the rest of Eclipse will most likely be out of the picture in the immediate future. All the more reason for Dan to win and make it to the moon. I'm not crying over Miyuki either. Back on the court, I wonder if the finals match vs. the King of Kings will push Dan to unleash this supposedly legendary ability that the match with Eclipse was supposed to draw out of him. |

| I <3 Rouge so much. This episode made me tear up a little bit near the end, actually. I'm a sap. I liked the episode a good bit more than some of the other recent offerings; it seems to be getting back on track in general. Next episode should be a lot of fun. |

| Basquash is getting kinda boring and not knowing when Rouge will reappear will make it worse for the anime. Need more adrenaline. With that said, need more Rouge!!! |
| I'm interested to see if all the people crying over last weeks episode will feel any different after this one. Who's to say; people being so fickle and all. :D I thought this episode was great. They had me nervous when Rouge started to sing with Dan's beat; had she sang the whole song the episode would have been ruined for me, but I thought it was done really well. The random scenes with Spanky in a drunken stupor seemed out of place. It's hard to say if they're gonna try and develop a real love interest for Dan, but one does feel a little bad for Miyuki... Right?? All in all; great episode - one of my favorites for this series. |
| This episode purpose was to deepen relationship of Dan and Rouge. And really to say, they've done it nicely with all this beautiful soundtracks + a bit of Rouge ED made this episode a success. |

| After a pitiful 12th episode this episode got back on the tracks. Although it didn't have much adrenaline it i enjoyed it a lot. |

| Another great episode. I loved the part where Dan played the melody by bouncing the ball. Now Dan has another reason to win the next match and get to the moon as well. | Everything is handled really good in this episode which makes it so different from most of Basquash episode. Well it seems like the new director is doing a good job, I guess. |

| [Edit] I just noticed that the OP of this episode is sang entirely by idol red. There are also some new animations of Eclipse at the beginning. So this is Basquash's version of drugs used in sports. Anyway it was pretty predictable. Idol singers becoming basketball pros? Come on... Miyuki seems pissed off by Dan's relation with Rouge. This can get interesting with more emphasis on her character. Spanky drunk was fun to watch. I hope next week's episode will have awesome Basquash scenes like the earlier episodes, and intense moments like episode 7. We haven't seen anything really exciting recently. I have a feeling though that Team Basquash is gonna loose the match. |

| I wonder if this is the episode with the new director? Regardless, this is probably the best episode of Basquash. It handled cliches really well for the most part, and was minimal on Dan being an idiot (Basquatting is the exception). They used music really well, and it wasn't as cheesy as it could have been. And they managed to explain how an idol group is suddenly so good at basketball and managed to give Dan a real reason to go to the moon. |

| Must say this is definityly the best ep by far! Nice save after ep 12^^ lol. So it seems theyer making a DanXRouge thing, but i kinda feel sorry for the other girl, the mechanic. What you guys think? |

| Spectacular episode, especially the ending. I know it's been mentioned already, but playing the melody was beautiful and it was a really moving scene. Oh god, Dan x Rouge all the way. It's like Jin and Nagi all over again. |

Last two or three episodes were the same with Citron and Violette (and I mean three because of the split episode with shortened ops doesn't count); the fact that umai just figured that out way after (or were too lazy) and only changed the color of the karaoke for this episode to "fit" the song for Rouge doesn't mean that it didn't occur in former episodes. |

| This episode is best episode even I’ve seen for a while since this episode is more enjoyable that have more Rouge and Dan screentime. It’s nice to see them together, and I noticed that pairing might be the main part of the storyline. I feel bad for Rouge because I can see that she suffers so much. I didn’t expect that Miyuki is getting more and more frustrated, but I don’t care about her. I hope that Rouge will re-appear later. This episode is much better than last one that has annoying commercials. |

| so the idols were taking medications to reinforce they're bodies, and that managers of they'res doesn't care what happens to them, what the hell? looks like dan and rouge were getting a lot closer, and that mechanic girl does not like that at all! |

| All right episode. As I'm not too interested in Team "Idol", Rouge, or DanxRouge I felt pretty meh about this one. | We already saw some harsh treatment towards the idols but having their body changed to win some games makes me wonder what James endgoal is. So far Rouge got quite the character development lately so I hope Miyuki also get some since we don't see much of her other than her repairing the big foots. |

| There are so many economical scenes, flashbacks, the previous episode split in two and the scene of the idols singing with a black background... I LOVED it, the director(s) managed to make something so beautiful and well executed with the time given to them/him! Also, I was impressed with Dan's dream being "dunk in the moon" and the ending ending with him making a basket, will he dunk in the next ones? |
