| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Whoa when I thought it was all over. The serial killer >_< I forgot about him. I almost thought his girl died too. This chapter was like a roller coaster. Loved it. One of my very few 10/10's. Not one chapter bored me. It could easily be a great though. :p |

| Overall it was a great manga and so was this last chapter i really thought the girl died and at that moment i was kinda upset because Shinichi suffered so much that i wanted a happy ending for him,so i was glad to see her alive after all :) |

| Perfect way to end the manga, really; instead of a simple after-story/showing how they live a peaceful life, the mangaka managed to make the reader surprised with the serial killer's appearance and how Satomi seemed to have died. He could have done it, we've seen Kana die earlier, so I was thinking "gah, that fucker made fun of us", heh. Glad it turned out much better instead. |

| Maybe it's my fault for reading this so soon after finishing Elfen Lied, but was I the only one who was pissed off that Shinichi started feeling sympathy for the freaking monsters? It's not like they even had a legitimate complaint against humanity. |
| Ah...It ended. I wasn't expecting a happy ending, but I'm glad with it. I don't know, I feel lil sad for Migi. Migi's "reclusion" felt like it noticed it could not find a place for itself in the world and, at the same time, coexist while maintaining its conscience without troubling Shinichi. The only thing I would like to know is where the parasytes really came from, the truth about them. He could call himself human no more, he was still human, yet he was more than just that. He started to see the world and humanity differently. It was though, not all parasytes were genuinly bad or evil. Even when he thought of sparing Goto/Kuroro I wasnt pissed. Thankfully he did the sensible thing. |

| Parasyte is one of the best manga I have ever read. Reading hundreds of Seinen manga and this one is close to perfection when it comes to entertainment and intelligence. Parasyte's style is what Death Note should have been instead of that over dramatized poor excuse of what fans call amazing writing. Parasyte is a consistently entertaining read with interesting interjections of philosophy taking the reader through amazing twists and turns of a roller coaster. 9/10 (Amazing) |

| I think they both survived, since Migi responds are hevely based on his emotions, he porbably woke up even from his sleep. And his sleep is volunterly and more as observer as i understood last part of his dreams. It's just that he won't mendel with his life anymore and be dormant. And that never vaking up is well he will have to wake up if he is ded, so it's logical that he instintivly trys to protect a life tretening situation again. I think it was great ending. Not excluding alien thing but also pointing out he won't do anything but absolutly nesesery in order to survive. |

| The ending was amazing, but I felt that some earlier parts of the story was dragged out a bit too much. Still, it was very enjoyable and had some interesting philosophical themes. 8-9/10. Probably 8 because of the drawings. Maelstrom_Divide said: Then, the closing page. | Great ending! I thought migi woulnd't appear at all but there is still hope Migi is looking out for Shinji's loved ones. 10/10 from me! I do believe Migi has become a great life form in this manga. With the transformation he's gone through i believe it reflects on the mass of information he has gathered on human life. |

I think I might have made a thread about this years ago...I think the general consensus was: they have messed up nearly every manga translation VERY BADLY. They're not professionals, just fans. As a result, whenever I read a manga, I just presume I'm getting the jist. I do like some scanalators who add notes to the end of a chapter explaining references in the chapter or why they chose to use specific words, that kind of behaviour is professional. |

The last parasyte (that with a lot of parasytes inside of him, can't remember his name) talked with the mayor when he was dying and said that he was human. This was a really nice manga, I honestly didn't expect the manga to show this kind of psychological stuff about who is the real monster of the story. As for the ending, the scanlated version is probably bad translated in the last pages. In my opinion both of them survived 10/10 for me |

| can anyone tell me why does the superstrong parasyte have two names? no, actually, three: sanji, goto, kuroro. Afaiu , Sanji was the weak one. |
