| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The one question I have which I may have missed but hasn't been explained is why Pakunoda did not use her nen ability to uncover the truth from Hisoka or even bring it up. To me, it would seem like an obvious thing to do but I suppose there is the possibility he might die if she did. I'll see if they ever do explain it. |

| I was actually thinking the same thing. But, I think it goes back to them not knowing of his ability to falsify the fortune so they never even consider that he is lying. Because it seems impossible. Hisoka, you glorious bastard. |

| Yeah, it's probably because nobody except Machi knew about Texture Surprise & she didn't nearly know the full extent of the ability. This is by far, one of my favorite moments of the arc. Hisoka's plan was incredibly smart & the fact that he thought it up so quickly is really impressive. He's a lot more intelligent than you may have assumed. Chrollo was great too & I had admittedly forgotten that he had the ability to teleport people at will. |
| I love this part, one of my favourites in the arc. Hisoka does all this to fight Chrollo, which means he is willing to die for it. Really impressing how he comes up with an alternative fortune so quickly. I also love the different ways the Troupe members react to Hisoka's fortune. Nobunaga gets pissed, while Shalnark plays it really cool and calmly analyses the situation. |
