| Luffy and Bonney hitting that double Nika pose. She really deserved to have her Saturn violating moment. Build up and pay off have been phenomenal. The last couple of episodes have been on speedrunning mode by One Piece standards. We're almost done with the arc now. Next episode gonna adapt some epic pages. |

| I still can't believe how far Kuma's come since Thriller Bark. dude went from mystery man to one of the most emotional, well-written characters in the whole damn series. Egghead arc is straight heat . Bonney and Luffy teaming up to smack Saturn? Peak anime moment. That scene had me tearing up fr, felt like Oda was channeling some Toriyama energy with that Father-Son Kamehameha vibe. |

| Now that’s a payoff and a half! I’m not fully on board with the nika concept mastered by Bonnie and whatnot, but this has been making for a long while. Bonnie’s final punch to finish off the Saturn threat while Luffy provides the necessary support to ensure she isn’t affected by the Elder’s attacks. Iron giant’s time to shine next ep? As an anime-only, I’ve next to zero clues what that could be exactly, lol. No mention of Ermet just yet. |

| The anime only scenes make me think I have a really bad memory or just wasn't paying attention to this entire arc. One thing that's consistent is that I want York to die in the most painful way. 'Robo having to tell Luffy he was talking to him was funny. Our boy is so dense. Nika punch turned St. Saturn into swiss cheese. It made me happy. |
| I probably preferred last week's episode by the tiniest of margins, but another episode where the climax was just great. |
| the way one piece keeps outdoing seasonal anime week after week is insane. the animation and the lighting was on another level, nobody else is doing it like this. the staff deserves it all for their amazing work here. i mean, i never expected bonney of all people to have one of, if not, the best looking transformation sequence ever. all while making saturn look amazing too. there will be a lot of rewatches of this. |

| Loved the episode. Bonney going Nika was perfectly animated. That satisfying Liberation Nika Punch as Luffy fires Gatling at Saturn’s legs, giving Bonney the clean shot to smash his face without worrying about those freaky legs. I hope he FREAKING SINKS and suffocates. Into the sea with him, done for good. |

| @A_Shinoda OMG, it was Nozomu Shishido who directed this marvelous episode. That explains why this episode was absolute cinema. 😭 One Piece has been going crazy with these last episodes for Egghead—many frames in episode 1152 feature top-quality art. I truly appreciate that they used a couple of OSTs that they haven't used in the anime in ages. It was truly a surprise to listen to "Overtaken" OST again, and it was used in the best possible moment when Bonney was going to transform with Distorted Future to become Gear 5 again. I don't know if somebody has answered this before, which has been bugging me, or if it's never been answered in the series yet. Garp is a Navy Vice Admiral with the name of D, but the Navy, especially the World Government, seems pretty chill on keeping him around the Marines. Why is the World Government not hunting down Garp after all these years? However, the World Government has been executing people who bear the name of D, just like Clover's older brother. Clover would have been killed on the spot, too, if he accidentally revealed that he was related by blood to the man whom the CP agents had shot down. And then the crazy oddball who continued Clover's research was none other than Vegapunk himself! F*ck Saturn, and I despise him so much! Really hate how that old fart was so persistent that he even managed to climb aboard the Great Erik to hunt down Bonney and Kuma. The Liberation Nika Punch from Joygirl Bonney was the cherry on top, as it was such a cathartic moment to see her punch the living daylights out of Saturn after what her parents had been through because of all the hellish torment from that old bastard! Saturn never realized that doing all those inhumane experiments on Bonney as an infant would soon come back to sabotage him in the end, as it was Bonney's Gear 5 form that defeated him for good. Into Swiss cheese, even! Atlas, nooooo! Dangit! Poor girl. :( But, when you think about it, if Nusjuro had been smarter and faster, he could have knocked out the Strawhats from the Sunny. At least it's all good that they've managed to escape Nusjuro, despite his speed. I hate York too! Why did she have to be such a tall baddie? Ugh. Episode 1152 was phenomenal. Some of the reactors I watched who have also been watching this episode were emotional from witnessing Bonney and Luffy ultimately defeating Saturn. And lastly, Kuma had a faint smile on his face at the end. :') Peak. ;_; |
