| Well, Naofumi's plan went well. I'm impressed really even with the collective effort of what they've done. And Filo being in that position is a new accomplishment for her this season. Zodia's appearance is an amusing one. She has charisma and energetic personality as a fresh face this season. Feels kind like a buildup episode with some silly moments thrown in. Naofumi truly has become a leader for his people. |

| Oh wow Zodia looks familiar, I wonder who that could be 🤣 even interacts with Naofumi the same as a certain someone. She made today’s episode very fun and sets up an interesting eventual conflict. The other thing I really liked with today’s episode is Fohl kinda getting a reality check. I understand he wants to be a good big brother and not upset his sister, but part of being a good big brother is being willing to upset your younger siblings and tell them what’s best. Respect to Raphtalia for stepping in and telling him that. I wish she’d not mind him calling her “big sis” tho, it fits! Seeing losers cry about Atla screentime will never not be funny to me because she’s literally the best part of the party. 🤷🏾♂️ everyone can’t have taste I guess |

| Don't you worry, Raph. Atla's attitude is long past irreversible. A random slice of life moment in the middle of our civil war for the purpose of setting up the newcomer Zodia. Best described as Sadeena 2.0, Zodia gets way too close to Naofumi for having barely met, and instantly declares herself a waifu for some reason. Harem count up to seven. Now the Water Priestess wants to meet. Every instinct in me was screaming "Government Spy" from the very beginning. Surely Naofumi, the man who once lost everything to a promiscuous woman, must have suspected something. |

| It was pretty obvious from start Zodia is the water dragon miko. But another random loli falling for Naofumi. We ain't ever beating the allegations😭😭. Even in such slow but of an meh episode with horny ass oldman and girl, Atla still manages to be the worst part of it. Impressive honestly. Everytime making it about her is so annoying. Well there's always Raphtalia in Miko outfit to sooth your soul♥️ |

| Muramasa is getting such a lenient punishment for how overly excited he gets upon seeing women left, right and centre. He's still entertaining, but he needs more punishments like the one Atla gave to him a few episodes back. XD Zodia is a pretty cute girl, although I didn't expect her to drink sake considering her age. Still, the show wasn't trying to hide the fact that she has an important role to play, especially during her talk with Naofumi at the baths. The last scene in preparation for the attack at the old capital, where Naofumi gets a message, more or less strongly hints that Zodia is involved, but as an enemy rather than an ally. It'll be interesting to see what course of action Naofumi decides next time. If things can be decided by discussion alone rather than combat, then great, but I wouldn't be surprised if some form of fighting does happen. |

| A light hearted episode that sets up the future battle. Naofumi meets a new character that looks very similar to Sadeena. The reason being she's obviously the new water priestess. The part we didn't know is that not only are they body guards for the holy emperor they are also general class fighters being extremely strong. However seems this girl wants to talk with whomever Naofumi is going to send. According to Sadeena that is surprisingly kind of her to do. I'm interested in how the next episode will turn out. I love how some characters like the blacksmith, master, and puppet girl got more screen time this episode. Everyone in this season seems to be playing a constant role that's needed in this adventure. The story telling, animation, and character writing is much stronger in this season compared to the last 2. |

@PurpleMagic Yes, I can't deny that, in my opinion, the third season was much better, but the screen time and character development that the fourth season is giving to the characters is wonderful. Except for Itsuki, who had a lot of scenes and character development cut, but it's not like anyone cares about him. The team clearly has its favorite heroes.
| @Desmascarado Dude I literally said that this current season is better than season 3 and 2. In my opinion 3 and 2 were absolute ass. For this season I could see myself rewatching it because I'm having so much fun. Season 3 is my least favorite it was extremely repetitive with Naofumi rescuing all the heroes. Felt like their was no previous buildup to any of them falling. It's just their crazy now because of Myne. I thought the animation when it wasn't fights was kinda ass as well. I remember lots of still images, and stiff movements. |
| so what's up with Crunchyroll? no SH Edub Ep this week? is that 'corporate restructuring' i kept seeing headlines online... about... a week or so ago? maybe longer? messing up their day-to-day operations? did 'Bob From IT' get canned accidentally and 'the man' (or woman) who actually KNOWS how to work stuff is gone? i saw more than one comment on animeschedule net that episodes from Crunchy got 'poofed' 'delayed' 'didn't appear' and so forth over the past two(ish) weeks from other shows. is Crunchy releasing any comments/news etc. officially? or are they just gonna stay silent, play dumb, and hope nobody paying them fees is gonna gripe? not that i pay, i never pay. i'm just highly curious why dumb stuff keeps 'seeming to happen randomly' to Crunchy... like the SH Edub Ep that was uploaded sans English voiceover talent audio tracks. |

| boring as usual, and even more so predictable. this is starting to get into "reincarnated as a slime" territory where the MC is OP and everyone loves him for no reason and it ends up just being talking about bullshit all the time. this ship has no rudder right now, and it's just meandering across the sea without direction. I liked season 1 but it's gotten to be a slog watching newer episodes. |

| The way Raphtalia is being sidelined in her own arc is crazy. No way recently introduced Muramasa and freaking S'yne are accumulating more screentime than her. Also, Naofumi never giving a second thought to how similar Zodia and Sadeena looked made me roll my eyes so damn hard. |

| Better episode. New character is a beauty like Sadeena. Nice episode to end it with a cliffhanger. Now, to wait for the rest of the episodes to binge watch this... P.S. Naofumi's reactions are getting weirdly unnatural nowadays... |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
