| What a small world they live in. Good for Monica on helping another person though. Even though she's still timid, she's selfless and helpful to the community. They also got a new teacher this episode so that's some more development at school. Monica's magic talents were also on display again so never underestimate her abilities. |

| Looks like they skipped i bit the start of the episode felt abrupt, Monica being in the city with no explanation. The part after the chess match was funny that teacher was so passionate and Monica was completely afraid. The new teacher might reveal some things tho i have a feeling he won't. |
| Thank you Hitsujibungaku. This week’s ending made me tear up. I’m so happy for Monica and proud of her stepping outside of her comfort zone, trying new things and connecting with other people. You can already see her communication skills improving leaps and bounds. She’s an angel โค๏ธ. This bodyguard mission is supposed to be to protect the Prince, but she’s getting more out of this than he is at this point lol Elliot and Casey are great additions to the cast as well! Casey reminds me so much of Natsuki from Hibike! Elliot introducing Monica to chess is such a cool moment too because it just reinforces how comfortable and at ease she is with discussing certain topics. She might struggle to start conversations, but if you approach her with something she’s interested in, she’ll settle into things and be able to express herself very easily! That’s so real for any of my fellow introverts btw. We might not be able to go up to people and talk ourselves, but once a topic gets brought up that we have an interest in, we won’t Shut-up ๐ I love that Monica now has two female friends her own age too! Idk, this episode just gave me some much needed happy vibes after Takopi ended. Nice transition ep as Monica fully becomes apart of the academy. |

| The ending scene with the ending song playing was really nice. Very heartwarming watching more and more people starting to bond with Monica and her slowly becoming more comfortable with others while trying out new things. Also, this is like the only fantasy show I'm watching that still looks good. Several others have already dropped quite a bit in quality. While the dragon fight with Glenn wasn't exactly anything too special, it still looked quite good. |
| More Monica cute moments. There were so much good moments that Monica had in this episode. There were a lot but my favorites would be when the teacher was talking about her and the horse riding part. Her character grew a lot at that part and I love seeing her character grow and grow each episode. Thats the reason why I keep watching, just seeing her character grow each episode is super fun to watch. 5/5 |

| Monica has grown so much, she's talking to more people and speaking more clearly now, im so proud of her Is Monica like, teleporting her spells? because I feel like she does, the fire spell she used to take down the earth dragon was generated from her fingertip and then it appeared in a magic circle in front of the dragon, that would mean she's multicasting too (like what she did during the fight with Cyril), tho I assume some spell formula has it directly appear on/near the target (like the Zoltraak thing from ep 1 and the lightning spark from this ep). Im thinking too much about it but it's just interesting lol Funny to have Professor Macragan as a teacher, Monica definitely can't join that class haha. The fire guy (crap I already forgor his name) has a mana level of over 250? and Monica's last test was only 202? what the hell, I'd bet his master is one of the seven sages too. And why do I feel like Felix already has an idea who Monica is that's why he guided her in this class? feels like he's scheming or just messing with her lol Monica pulled out the Silent Witch face while playing chess, of course she'd be crazy good in it, it's also math. And Monica got a new friend, Casey!, she took an interest to Uma M– horse riding~ she's learning and trying out new stuffs that's cool. Must Protecc! Moni-moni-moni-mo–  |
| The shy squirrel is really progressing: not only does she no longer get nervous around Nero's human form, but she is also stepping out of her comfort zone to seek out new experiences, choosing her electives. I love Monica's slow but sure evolution. That scene with Monica and Casey watching the sunset with the horses was absolutely gorgeous. This is one of the few anime where I don't mind the powerful protagonist keeping her identity a secret; in fact, I prefer the story to focus on her, since she's already strong. That said, I couldn't stop laughing when she was stressing out, fearful that the professor would talk about her accomplishments and almost find her out. As for Glen, it is very strange that he will surpass 250 power. I don't think he's that strong, so something weird must have happened. But at least we learned that only two of the Seven Sages possess that level of power. |

| The beginning feels abrupt because they omitted something. I remember in the LN that Monica is out on a stroll and she talked with either Isabelle or Lana. The omission here cannot be helped. Eliotte will always be Eliotte, classist. There's not much in this episode.about the serious political plot yet, but Monica's growth subplot is here. I almost forgot about Casey, but her voice actress makes her really charismatic and resembles the vibe of Haruka from Sorairo Utility. In case you wonder why I've always said Isabelle is not my favourite even if I was drawn to her at first, that's because Monica gets to have other great friends. Lana is one and now Casey. Some other girl will also appear. One may view this as reverse-harem because of the Prince and Cyril. But if someone like Mitsuha has a 'harem' of pretty ladies in 80,000 Gold, Monica has something similar with Isabelle, Lana, and Casey. More to be added. |

| Seems like Cyril has a bit of a soft spot for looking out for Monica, pretty cute. Im glad the animes actually giving us lots of moments of Monica using magic without chanting, I was worried the anime would go too slice of life on us. Also when you think about it would be really easy to figure out Monica's the silent witch. Like if you even see her once use Magic without chanting in secret you'd just know since presumably she's the only person in the world who can do it. The most interesting part of the episode was definitely the thing with Monica's former teacher and the magic ball. Curious to know what Monica's current mana level is, she said 202 but I mean that was only the last time she checked. It could be far higher now. I really hope its some stupidly high number. Also I liked seeing another dragon again this episode, Hope we get more the designs and way they get animated are awesome. I wanna see one burn down a town or something. But that's just wishful thinking. A more realistic wish is having at least one person figure out who Monica is. Right now I want Lana to figure that out but idk if she's important in the story to really figure that out. Well that and I hope we see more of the seven sages. it makes sense also she chose chess and horse riding since they won't in any way give away her true identity. also many cute Monica moments this episode |

| Monica getting more comfortable with getting out of her a shell a bit is heartwarming to watch and as a Hitsujibungaku fan the ending of the episode was extra special, they really nailed it with "mild days" as an ED for moments like that |

| At first for some seconds I thought I missed the episode of the last week lol XD but it was impossible this is one of my fav shows this season, the beginning was strange, but another great episode, I laughed a lot, in particular in the magecraft class scene. I doubt she could keep her undercover operation for too long, sooner or later someone will recognize her as the Silent Witch imho. |

| I would've liked to see more of Monica in the city but that's alright, the classroom with her old teacher was interesting to say the least, especially with the mage from earlier in the city. The final scene with the ED playing warmed my heart, I think it's sunsets that really get to me, not sure why. |

| Would Moni-Moni-Moni-Monica love horses? Probably. Everyone loves Umamusume right now. Such a close call with a known teacher from Monica's past. I wanted to see how chaotic the magic class was for her, but she made the right choice of getting into chess and horses. Getting optional courses should always be fun. Edit: To the guy who told me about posting this in the last episode thread, thanks for the heads-up. |

| Monica dying of embarrassment while Macragen was heaping praise on the Silent Witch was hilarious. Introducing her to chess is right up her alley though as chess and mathemathics share a strong connection. Not so much horse riding though. But Monica wants to try something new and I'm all for her forging new friendships :D |
