| A beach episode to escape the heat, well timed. Bell plotting to get Hinata to notice her in her swimsuit, as if she hasn't regularly been naked in front of him this whole season. Unfortunately for her (and us), Hinata is still missing his balls. At least you can easily teach Bell how to swim with those built-in flotation devices. Next up, finale. |

| Hinata finally becoming aware of his feelings for Bell. Nice to see actual romantic progress in a goonerslop show lol. Nice double entendre of the beach episode being an escape from the literal heat as well as the burning feeling of burgeoning love for Hinata. Wish he would stop being afraid and just date her I don’t really get what’s holding him back. There is no “right way” y’all like each other, that’s all there is to it. Obviously this is done to drag the story out and so dudes can self insert and pretend to date Bell themselves, but still. Blonde girl is quickly becoming best girl tho. |

| Have to say I like the styles on Mei's and Cecile's swimsuits better than Sakura's and Belle's. Well, if it had been cherry shaved ice, I would have dived right in, public beach or no. Belle did not get anywhere near enough Hinata attention, but she did get a good laugh at the other girls. She seems to have partial understanding of where Hinata is emotionally, and I think is showing significant restraint for a Yandere Dark Elf. Hinata is processing his emotions at a sloth's pace. |

| Pretty nice beach episode, definitely not the ideal location for Hinata rn because he’s trying not to get too close to Mariabell but there was still some fun in the sun to be had, it’s about time we saw the girls in swimsuits too since it’s what the key visual features. Mariabell not being able to swim is a surprise tho, I guess in the finale next week we might be seeing her learn, even if it hasn’t been spectacular I will miss my dark elf fill every week . |

| The hot Summer heat pushing Sakura, convincing Bell and the others to go to the beach, and she sure is alluring to Hinata. That said, using magic to seduce him is quite the cheat that Cecil would not tolerate Bell for, and her being soft doesn't slide well with Sakura reaffirming her with quite the butt slap though. Bell could tell that something's eating Hinata, though she wants every fibre of his being, thankfully saving his chastity thanks to Cecil. But seriously, what's holding you back from accepting Bell, Hinata? |

| Other than a few instances here and there this ep, it was nice to see this one was more animated and better drawn than the last ep was. Hoping they can keep that up for the last ep... lame beach ep in terms of ecchi content though. Heck, I think things were at their most ecchi back in ep 4 I think it was where if not for the divine protection, Hinata would've lost his virginity back then. A shame it never got anywhere near that spicy again and I doubt we'll come close to it for the last ep :( |

| Decent episode with some slow progress. It looks like Hinata is just about ready to accept Belle and so I hope he finally does in the finale. Beyond that Belle should learn to swim with Hinata teaching her so that they can go to the beach and get in the water more often. |

| Some nice swimsuits in this episode at least. I think they all fit the crew well both personality-wise and physically. The mature and sexy black bikini on Cecil works really well. I think the white for Mariabelle works well, but actually it would have been really cute to see her in a sleeveless white summer dress for once-- even if it accentuated her cleavage. Actually I probably would have guffawed if they showed her from the back with a seemingly generic white summer dress, only for her to turn around and reveal it's all tit in a bit of a self-aware type of move, but that's just me. Nonetheless, the white bikini still works for her, and it's on the key visual so I guess they had to get it in somehow. Still, we see Mirabelle in nothing all the time, so it's not much of a treat like the cosplay outfit was at least for me. Getting to see her in glasses (even if they were weird glasses) and clothes that had a bit of a... sophistislut (?) vibe was great enough that the swimsuit feels like a downgrade, is all I'm saying. Additionally, while I don't actually care much for Mariabelle and this kid as a couple, I think letting Mariabelle not just be exposed for once would have lent itself well to the actual plot. Instead of constantly being on guard since Mariabelle is often exposing it all, I think a cute summer dress (let's say a normal one for this purpose) would have helped Hinata not be so much on edge and just be able to address whatever's going on without any distractions... just Mariabelle and the feelings they have for each other on a non-sexual level (at first) and then let it dissolve into whatever else after they figure things out. They totally could have had Sakura suggest that Mariabelle wore something Hinata wouldn't expect and the summer dress would have been just the thing. Idk Instead we had the littlest talk this episode... with Hinata almost immediately trying to leave once the talk was done because Mariabelle's in damn near nothing again and they already showed he was distracted by the boobs. I know it's supposed to be lewd comedy, but usually it all works best when there's still a connection to emotion. The talk didn't really do much, in my opinion. Belle just emphasized that she's obsessive, but worried and genuinely cares, but all Hinata said was that he felt better (he barely spoke) without explaining anything and instead thinking as per usual that Belle was intense (but kind). They could have actually talked about it! Because this didn't really do anything. So, I reeeaaally think having Mariabelle in just a cute summer dress that might have gotten Hinata to leave his guard down a bit would have actually helped them sort out their feelings-- if they wrote it well enough, and y'all who actually wanna see some progress with that maybe could have. But nooo... yet at the same time, I don't expect too much from this anime, so I'm not upset or anything, just surprised they didn't take that opportunity since I really can't see the swimsuits making much of an impact after all we've already seen. ...Ohp. Just read some other comments and it looks like some others were thinking similar things. |
