| I mean, it's obvious Sophia has feelings for Louis. Kinda awkward that he is somewhat avoiding her this episode. I was not expecting an expedition in the cold weather either. I guess this show loves to throw surprises at times. |

| “Sophia Riller I love you” “From the moment we met I was attracted to “you” WAIT WHAT A CONFESSION ALREADY?!! HELLO?? I WON. The way Louis reassures Sophia and says he loves her multiple times too omg ๐ญ couldn’t have asked for a better episode, all the people who cried about pacing in this show gotta feel dumb now. I knew this was gonna be a good episode, but I didn’t know it would be THAT good. Soon as they said they were doing a training exercise on the snowy mountain I knew we’d get some sort of accident, traveling in a blizzard just isn’t a good idea lol. But narratively, there’s no better way to deal with two people running from their feelings than by putting them in a cabin during a storm together lol. Louis’ squirrel blessing form was a really cool reveal. Did not see that coming lol no wonder he was so anxious and shy last week, he heard everything Sophia said and witnessed her bravery first hand. That’ll definitely make a guy fall in love, Sophia was stunning in that dress too. It’s also cool because they both have blessings that they’re insecure about so they can bond over that and embrace those strengths together. Only thing I would’ve wanted is a kiss, but we’re only 6 episodes in so we have plenty of time for that. Isaac is such a troll for that cockblock ๐ We got our main couple now I can’t wait to see where things go. I know the girls at school are gonna be annoying again lmao. |

| Louis was already showing signs of having feelings for Sophia, but it’s a surprise that the dude himself didn’t know what those feelings were. Understandable—not everyone can tell right away and sometimes they mistake them for something else. And it turns out his ability really does grant him the power to turn into a squirrel. Well, it turns out Louis is a clueless one who doesn’t know how popular he is among the female body. It was embarrassing for both Sophia and Louis—not just him being naked, but also confessing that he heard her feelings for him, and later, him telling his own feelings for her. The episode was dipped in romance syrup. Hopefully, they’ll start dating now, cause I can’t wait to meet their kids lol. Oh no, that ending—they were finally about to kiss, to have their moment, and Isaac just ruined it. And poor Louis, I doubt he’s anything but alright, but it was funny. |

| RIP Louis, he died just as he was about to kiss her first love, I thought his ability was going to be talking to squirrels and not become one himself I keep forgetting that in this world it is not only an augmentation of physical abilities and sense but also body transformation, dunno why lol, they had said multiple times about people with birds blessings that can fly and even saw one doing it. |

| Okay, I never expected such a plot twist in a typical fantasy romcom, haha. So Louis was the squirrel after all, the one who kept following Sophia no matter where she went. I can’t imagine how happy bro must’ve been, listening to Sophia glaze the heck out of him, completely unaware she was talking to her glorious king himself, haha. Plot twist aside, I’m really glad Sophia and Louis made up. I misjudged Louis in my previous episode review, saying he was immature and mean for still being mad at Sophia even though she had apologized. But it turns out he just didn’t know how to face her after everything she said, thinking the squirrel was just some random animal. That aside, I swear, Louis was so adorable this episode. To think he even had such a cute blessing too, god. The way he kept trying to reverse the clock’s hand? Pure cuteness overload. And when he passed out after delivering Sophia’s things to her door just to warm her up from the cold? I just cannot. Honestly, this episode kinda made him my favorite character in the whole cast, to be honest, haha. |

| I was really losing heart for this anime, but this episode has brought a lot of it back. Probably the only thing that really tarnished it was the highly expected kiss interruption at the end, but there is the comedy aspect as well, so you know they're gonna have that stupid trope. I do hope that they go the smart route and the 2nd half is actually them as a couple - that would be so refreshing, but most LN authors are too terrified to actually do something smart like that, so we'll see. |

| With my love for fruits basket, and this show having a guy who turns into a cute lil squirrel, a part of my monkey brain instantly enjoys this show a lot more. |
| My prediction about the squirrel was half right. I thought it was Louis' god, but in fact it was Louis himself! As for that love confession I was surprised it occurred so quickly. Mutual confession too, that's a unicorn.. There are stories spending hundreds of episodes/chapters just dancing around it, but never delivering. That's the rule in fact. Gorilla no Kami is a rare exception to the rule. |

| OMG....SQUIRREL.... And he can turn INTO it?! I mean....I thought the "looks like the same squirrel" observation Sophia had was a huge flag but I didn't think it was actually Louis. The possibilities! ........I mean...how he can infiltrate places not um....*cough*other things... I also now feel the need to go back and rewatch the scenes with the squirrel just to see if I (or Sophia) missed anything. |

Turns out they do work that way in rare cases. ๐

| The anti-monarchist group Daybreak, which Sophia would come to learn later, the most important issue is her lingering feelings for Louis, whom she wasn't able to face since then. The field training in the snowy mountains is a boon for everyone, most especially for those who can't handle the rough terrtains, as is Eddy who soon falls unconscious for Sophia to save him, and Louis following thereafter. Seeking a place of rest, Sophia dragging him to a safehouse awaiting rescue, only to be met by the same squirrel again...and a naked Louis too? Obviously embarrassed, the dude following her...and then giving Sophia quite the shock that he was that squirrel, what the hell's going on? Louis's Squirrel God blessing, at certain moments, was a blessing in disguise, though what he tried to do was dangerous at best. And as it turns out, him being the squirrel because of his expunging energy at certain times, and the constant ramblings of the girl hopelessly in love with him, he heard it all, even if it was unintentional. And throughout the issue with Daybreak, he knew that he himself was popular, but wasn't asked out by surprise, untl he met Sophia and was completely infatuated with her. Still, Louis wasn't being blunt professing his love for her, and Sophia feels the same, even though she thought that he hated her with the wrong idea. The near-kiss though...no thanks to Isaac's dog blessing to find them both, got them startled, and that was the funniest part above it all. Oh well, there's plenty of chance to make the kiss for the 2nd half of the anime! |

| She just accepted that a random squirrel brought her tools in the middle of a mountain. She didn’t question it or even seem surprised—she just went along with it. Then she didn’t even ask where the squirrel went or why Louis was suddenly in its place. I get that the cold can mess with your thinking, but at this point, she’s just being dumb as hell. |
