| It's been a long and hard six months, but finally.. we're here... AND WE ARE SO BACK FUCKING BACK!!!!!!!! Picking up like RIGHT where we left off, with Garp "dying", and the reactions of the people back at where it started it all, East Blue. And yeah, it ain't sunshine and rainbows over there, as a earthquake with "no parallel in recorded history" had occurred WORLDWIDE... Crazy way to start things off, but anywho, back to the mainland with all the boys, Egghead that is, is in fucking shambles lmao. You can' even classify this shit as a buster call man, this shit is straight up a mini Marineford, with them calling up NINE vice admirals... and yes, the admiral himself, Kizaru. But on the main island itself though, honestly, I couldn't have pick a better way to get back to the island. The other stuff going on outside the Straw Hats last time we were here was so cool, that I kinda forgot about the main story lol. But now they show the Straw Hats winning easy, barely even hurt (Yonko crew moment), and totally clowning on the Gorosei and Marines. Makes you wanna know how they pulled it off and what crazy thing they’ll do next. And ofc, a new year means a new One Piece OP.. and HOLY. FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. I swear, they've yet to miss on both a visual and musical front since Whole Cake man. This one visually is just on a WHOLE DIFFERENT FUCKING LEVEL THOUGH. Didn't get to see the ED, but we did get to hear it, and MANNNNN, I think us manga readers can already see what the visuals will be lol. What a fucking RETURN MAN. Don't think I could've lasted another week without One Piece... so your telling me I get TWO IN ONE WEEK??? Until tomorrow it is yet again, I guess. |

| The opening is pretty sweet. Never would've thought we would ever get an opening dedicated to Kuma and Bonney up until now. The Strawhats looking like real villains here, lol. Taking the blame is the a name of the game, so they gotta play their part and live up to the status of an Emperor crew when the Navy assembled such a force just for them. It feels so good to be finally back to real One Piece. The best thing about the FMI remake was that it bought Egghead some time to shine. Having high hopes for the upcoming episodes. But lmao, cutting Sanji out of the group shot, yet keeping Lucci, they did our boy dirty. I swear it gotta be personal for someone at Toei. As for Franky's new voice. It's honestly weird to have a change after all these years with the character, but it's something one will get eventually used to. And Kimura is like one of the best guys for the job. Todo is a bro on par with Franky. |

| I've never been so hyped for this!! One Piece is back!! 😭 Awesome animation at the beginning. They really upped the animation with the cinematic sequences. Also, the opening song played before the episode ended, and the new ending might be revealed for the next episode. The new opening was so good, but its visuals are on a whole new level! It really showed a majority of Bonney & Kuma's backstory and then a few of the battles that will happen in this arc. Plenty of old characters that we haven't seen in ages have reappeared in this episode as they found out about the news in the papers. The whole world is in chaos with all the earthquakes happening. The entire episode flew by so quickly and I didn't have any issues with its pacing. Oh man, now things are different and I'd stay up late for One Piece unlike the old days, because this new timeslot isn't favorable for us guys living in the GMT+8 timezone so next time, I'll have to wait for the next day and watch the latest episode early in the morning. 😂 But I'm just really glad that One Piece is back. 😊 I really missed it. And I think they're going to keep the pacing just like before (1:1) but I believe they've already made improvements with the animation along the way. So very happy that One Piece is back! ;_; |
| Love the new Op, good ol' Gre4N back to action! ED's great too! Franky's new voice albeit just being a phrase thus far just didn't feel right lol but that is to be expected, big shoes to fill in and I hope the Subaru-san can absolutely nail it! Of course, vegapunk wasn't going to be taken out like that, phew. But they definitely made me concerned until the drop, well played Oda-sensei! 2 episodes of OP in one week. It's a first for me in 8 years! It feels like a badge I can hold up high, xD. |

| Dang it... I love it. I caught up to One Piece a few months back during the hiatus thinking I won't become a One Piece diehard fan, but dang it. I've become one of them. Also will forever miss Kauki Yao for Franky. Couldn't thank him enough. Anyways, this was a good episode. Was confused from the beginning, and after watching that episode, I'm still slightly confused. How did Stella not kill Vegapunk? She was point-blank away from him. BUT WHO CARES??? | Haven't watch the episode yet, came here after I saw the new OP. I still need time to get used to the song, but the OP sequence never fails, they had Bonney reaching for the sun at the end, it's so peak. |

I hope not... that's old news now. it is changed due to Kazuki Yaos health and he stepped down because he felt that he wasn't giving the best performance for Franky and its not the Franky he envisioned so he passed down the role to Subaru Kimura I didn't know that, it took me by surprise as well so thanks for the share. The ep was hype but that voice change will take a bit to get used to. |
