| This episode should've aired during Valentine week imo. This is one of the few times where Mitsuya and Tateishi spend time apart due to work commmitments. From Mitsuya's perspective, it wasn't fun for her to see other couples having fun. Still, the two got to spend some time together. Tateishi's joke about telling everyone of their relationship was badly timed though lmao. |

| Yui having to endure time without her partner, it was pretty hard for her but things worked out in the end. Seems both parts of the couple are working hard to achieve their goals which is nice to watch. |
| Absence makes the heart grow fonder! Yui going through Masugu withdrawls was sooo cute. Two weeks apart for these two lovebirds is like an eternity. I actually kind of liked it though. While we all love seeing our two lovebirds together, it's still important to maintain your own goals and sense of purpose. The best relationships are those with two complete individuals who come together to make each other better, not complete each other. PLUS, being apart from each other really makes those reunions like we saw at the end that much sweeter. Very cute Valentine's ep. It was so funny seeing Masugu and Somei talk about their girls to one another and not know they're both about to be in the same boat lmao. I assume the two ships will find out about each other at some point and that will be really fun! Masugu could give him a ton of advice too. "I wanna get lovey dovey. I want him to touch me and hold me" AHHHHH that phone call was so cute. Sometimes you just need a little recharge from that special person! Masugu rushing to the elevator to hold Yui's hand was so sweet too!! Love how they sneak in these little cute opportunities just to see or feel each other! Yui's chcoolate business doing so well makes me sooo happy too. It's one thing to sacrifice time with your partner and fail, but when you do that and have sucesss with your individual endeavors it makes it all worth it. She couldn't even get a break because everyone was buying so much! "Being in an office romance is the best after all" Yes! Even with tis setbacks and inconveniences, the best relationship is the one you have! I love these two sm they just warm my heart every week. |

| Can't get over what a shame how much Kiribayashi's thank-you chocolate would've been such a clutch assist if Yui just breathed for a moment. Still improved my impression of him for the sentiment alone though. Masugu getting his own little "joke" in as payback by the end had me grinning so hard. |
| Yui and Tateishi are both really working hard so haven't been able to spend alot of time together but it was nice to see them meet up with each other in the end. |

Yui looks so cute as a store clerk! But it must've been hell working as one, especially during Valentine's day. Bruh. Yui and Masugu almost did phone sex. Wtf. That would've been so weird to see. Almost a shame it didn't happen. The two recharging in the elevator was wholesome tho. I think it was better that we got that instead. And yeah, Yui should've gotten Kiribayashi's chocolate to give it to Masugu. But I think her giving the sample of the product she worked so hard on is much sweeter. It feels earned. | Earlier, Somei had seen Yui and Masugu together, and now Masugu had seen Somei and Hayakawa together. At first, Somei casually mentioned to Masugu that she had been spending time with Hayakawa without giving it much thought, but that last expression when she realized Masugu had seen them... She might be starting to realize that her closeness with Hayakawa could turn into something more. Yui's need to "recharge" with Masugu almost led to her making love over the phone π . Such a sweet episode, and even though nothing explicitly romantic was shown, it's more than obvious that something happened - it's Valentine's Day after all! |

| What i love about this Anime, is, alot of what they are going through is relatable for people around my age. Its cute seeing it in Anime. The ending probably will them revealing it in the office i guess. |

| That's rough that Yui had to work retail after a full day at the office. But it was cute how she was thirsty for Masugu after a few weeks. Really sweet moment at the end with Yui's product being the Valentine's gift instead of standard chocolate. We've been building up to the finished product over the past few episodes, so this was a nice way to wrap it up while also bringing the two closer. |
Their texts to each other are so cute!!!! (And Yui's sticker~!) ζζ©γγγ εεΌ·γγγΌγοΌ θ€γγθ€γγ Cute!! I felt really bad for our couple this week, that they had to spend so much time apart; but that's just the reality of working at the company they do, and trying to make progress in their careers. At least I'm glad it worked out in the end, and they were able to spend a late Valentine's Day together. Her running out the door in her excitement was so adorable. Also wow, Yui wanting phone sex; my girl is down bad (understandable)! On the other side of things, I was dying at Masugu's scene with Somei this episode... the awkwardness was so real: Masugu wondering what he should say, if he should say anything at all, if he's making a big deal out of seeing Somei with Hayakawa for no reason... It was so cute to see that warm and happy side of Hayakawa, especially now that we know she hasn't been this way all along. Somei really is special to her. And Somei's reaction when Masugu mentioned that he saw them together!!! He was even blushing a little bit... So precious!! I love my side couple so much! Only three episodes left, right? Let's see where our couples end up from here~ β |

| Small blue-ball at the end there, with Tateishi seemingly suggesting that they tell everybody about their secret relationship. But nah, that it looks like that's not even in the cards for them right now. At least we know that they are most likely considering the possibility in their own heads. They could never ever reveal their secret and stay true to the title, fine. But it would've been nice to see them actually talk about it and discuss if it would continue to be worth it or not, that's all that this needs. Otherwise, the only well-defined reason for this show to demand a secret relationship between them is for just a few cute elevator scenes. Easy 7/10 anime if they either 1: un-secret their secret dating life, or 2: explain better why they NEED to keep it a secret, other than "things will get awkward", or whatever tf it was. Otherwise, 6/10 honestly, even with all the cutesy cutesy stuff. Maybe I'll go skim through the first episode again, might've missed or forgotten something important. Come to think of it, I feel like the relationship between Somei and Hayakawa will go public before Tateishi's and Mitsuya's, even with their senior-subordinate status and notable age gap, and their dating life hasn't even started yet (which, it will, right? It won't be limited to just meeting up in a coffee shop, right??!) If that ends up being the case, then, wtf Tateishi and Mitsuya? What's their excuse at that point? |

| Someone at Studio Blade saved us from the second-hand embarrassment of having to witness the main couple having phone sex. Thank you, stranger, from the bottom of my heart. Also, Mitsuya not taking Kiribayashi's thank-you choco to later give it to Tateishi kinda pissed me off a little. It would have been a nice addition to her sakura biscuit. Just saying. |

Anyways, the chocolate offered by Kiribayashi to Yui would've been a great last second re-gift to Masugu but he was excited to try her cookie... |
| Continuing the joyous festivities, it's Valentine's Day, and Yui is caught up in Director Kiribayashi's rush to work during the day itself being short-staffed, though the trade to help out in the Spring sweets product competition is always taken. For the first time, Masugu witnessing Hayakawa and Somei's secret rendezvous is a sight that he did not expect to see, and worse still, his interactions with Somei are far and few in between. However, hearing his perspective about Hayakawa certainly is new information to Somei, and indeed, he got changed by her as well...only just to the point of being colleagues. But as the conversation goes on, both guys definitely almost went out of context talking about the same woman lol. And it's the same for Yui missing Masugu 2 weeks in a row, though she anticipates seeing him on Valentine's Day, while holding out her work and seeing couples in action, only to miss him greatly. Masugu prepping for his bookkeeping exam, and Yui desperately missing his touch enough to flirt over the phone, it definitely surprised the former out of the blue and also embarrassed the latter in the same way lols. Too lovestruck for that. Too bad at work, both Yui and Masugu must hold their facade against an open environment, and like the latter, he needs his recharging time with her as well after being separated from some time. The striking of the fated Day itself, with Yui's sweets done too, she's really cutting it close for the usual Valentine rush alongside Director Kiribayashi...and even with the limited time before the day ends, with or without chocolate, her personal sweets is more than enough. Yui and Masugu are the new generation of office romance, this is an undisputable fact. |

| It was a good episode, just like the past 8, although not as good as the last one. Honestly, Somei should just get his own show by now, the way he just doesn't care and talks about Hayakawa with Masugu is a bold move. Also, by his reaction to Masugu's words, it does seem he also likes Hayakawa, since last episode that wasn't really evident. So, are they getting together until the end of these 12 episodes? When Yui said she was "missing Masugu's "parts"" I was really confused on what she meant by that, but then she straight up just asked Masugu to get "lovey-dovey" on the phone. Yeah, she's naughty xD Masugu was literally too stunned to speak. So Yui just backed up. But this actually might be here for a reason, because at the end of the episode, after checking Yui was in a good mood, Masugu asks her when are they revealing to their coworkers their relationship, and after Yui struggles to answer, he just says he was "joking", but was he? He seemed quite serious when he thought about bringing that up. Just like happened in that last scene I mentioned with Yui, it seems now is the reversed, and Masugu actually meant what he said, but seeing how troubled Yui was to answer, he decided to take back his question. But the truth is that Yui was the one to want to hide their relationship to their coworkers, as herself mentioned this episode. This actually brings an important topic to the anime: why are they hiding their relationship? It was set clear since episode 1 that the company doesn't have any policy that prohibits coworkers from dating, and they don't have anything else at work to worry about, they don't even work in the same sector. The only thing was that they "apparentaly" hated eachother, but that doesn't affect this situation at all. I suppose Yui must have her own reason for that (maybe something from her backstory), but the truth is that we are at episode 9, and Yui brought that back to the show, and didn't develop it a single bit. And it seems Masugu is getting tired of that (they are dating for 8 months now, so it's understandable). I don't know, being such an important point for the plot (the anime's concept is literally about that), they don't give any substance or reasoning to it. Anyways, curious to see what the anime will decide to focus on the next 3 episodes. We are getting close to that 1 year anniversary actually. Will they reveal their relationship by the end of this season? |
