| Tbh, the first half of this episode made my eyes roll. All the teasing, swimsuits, bath scenes felt like it was just there for the sake of fan service. Oh and o course, they censor it with mist because go figure. Rest of the episode got slightly better but still had the usual feelings, although expands on how the girls feel about Hayato, particuarly Riho. But seriously, it was so obvious she has feelings for him at this point. |

| Akane is the best girl, we know. But the thing is harem shows have never been nice to the best girls.. not never but most of the time. Hopes have been crushed, days have been ruined.. and many things. Though leaving that aside, this episode had its first ever confession of the series, albeit in a roundabout way. “Stars are beautiful tonight, I wonder if it’ll be clear tomorrow”. So did Akane say, and since the dude knew what she was referencing, he answered in that way itself. Which for the time being put her confession on-hold. Atleast better than getting rejected to be honest but still. He got his reasons but harem protags will be harem protags at the end of the day smh. Also before I miss, Shiragiku overheard the confession though. But hey we’ll talk about that later, as it wasn’t just Akane who went and confessed her love to the dynamic-kun.. yep there was someone else too. Riho, being that person, confessed pretty straightforwardly that she thinks she likes him. Hell yeah for that, but this means we’re just getting started. Akane done, Riho done… confessions are raining. But hey again it was Akane who made Riho realize that. So again there she is. |

| Enjoying sparklers when with friends really is the best. Its unfortunate but cafe's are also affected by the seasons as well. Akane really is going for the kill this time huh. Still its nice that this managed to get Riho to finally be brave and make her push as well. Odd time to get serious but at least it would serve to make the next ep an interesting one. |

| Enter the stereotypical harem protagonist. But outside of stupid toilet humor this was rather decent episode compared to rest of the bunch. Seems like Shiragiku's childhood friend backstory will be completely skipped since the next episode is the last? (or maybe not judging from the preview but only half of the episode to tell it) |

| I could already see why, but this episode especially showed why a lot of people are on team Akane, she knows what she wants and is absolutely going for it. She may have done the classic moon line instead of directly confessing but it was definitely still direct and she made it clear what she meant, and instead of being a tsundere about it she’s intentionally fucking with him like how she made it out like she was actually asking about the weather lol. I’m not sure if she’s my personal best girl but I can’t blame anyone for having her as their best girl, she’s awesome. And not only that but she pushed Riho into confessing too, it’s hard to get a tsundere to do that lol, and she may have tried to back out after doing so but she didn’t do a good job and Hayato definitely knows now. It was also hilarious how Hayato gassed himself up saying he’s too attractive after finding out they were arguing over him lol, I mean he’s not exactly wrong tho. And I can’t finish writing a post for this episode without mentioning the amazing fanservice in the bathhouse, when this show does fanservice it’s grade A and we saw it again here, the wagashi lady included lol, and we also know our boy Hayato is packing now, loved the girls imagining after they heard that lol. And we got one episode left, this has been a stellar harem romcom anime and I really hope this one gets another season. |
| Oh fuck, an episode in the public bath, I have flashback from Onimai.... it was pretty cool and the big member joke was hilarious. We're at the 11th episode, and we get 2/5 confession made, I would guess it's not the fastest but maybe could have been in the future, idk. It's a pretty important part but I feel like Hayato is quite a nice person in general outside of his chad attitude so it was bound to happens that the girls will start to love him after a while, the family bond is quite strong. I'm very excited to see the final episode (also kinda sad, but I hope the leaks for a second cour is real) ! |

| Think this episode showed why Akane is the GOAT of the series. She gave Riho the push she needed and they are now fighting on the same field which she really didnt have to do but I think that showed how much she does care for the other girls. Solid episode I guess Shiragiku development next week. |

| Prolly my fave episode. Finally some progression. Akane best girl and I like how assertive she was in this episode. Got a two horse race with she and Riho rn. Obviously the rest of the girls will get involved but it’ll be fun to see how it turns out |

| BIG steps were taken in today's episode. It's truly incredible, so many firsts that you don't usually find in a harem. This was huge for Akane and Riho. Akane finally just admits subtly to Hayato that she loves him following her very subtle message back in episode 7, but now it's beyond doubt. Riho has also stepped up to the plate, after initially trying to bury her feelings she's finally come to terms over the course of the episode and actually tells him how she feels. Which is just - wow - a girl in a harem finally says "I love you" to the harem protagonist without getting interrupted or acting like she's faking it. WOW, actual progress has been made. The fanservice in this episode is at an all time high. The girls taking a bathhouse soak with Ami requiring censor bars with how often she stands up is so surreal. Now seriously wondering if like Seo Kouji's other anime, Fuuka, if this one is also legitimately getting an uncensored version. The scene too where the girls overhear a patron calling Hayato's thing "big" and them having thoughts about it is also hilarious (so many series lately have been relishing in male fanservice moments. Quite the turnaround). Speaking of Ami, neat to finally see her in her high school uniform. Can't wait for next week where it appears we'll finally figure out Shiragiku's deal. |

| Man it's hard to pick a best girl but I'm sticking with Riho even though Akane is making all the right moves. It really seems like they're the best 2 candidates but Kiku is a solid 3rd that may make moves (her being drunk and naked doesn't count lol) after all she did hear what Akane said when she left Hayato's room. Ami, while silly, I don't think has a chance but at least she does say she likes him out loud although the other girls don't seem to care. It looks like the finale might focus on Kiku and I'm guessing that she's probably looking at some old pictures or recipes from grandma. Lastly, I think there will be a 2nd season (or another cour) since there's no way they can end this with 1 episode remaining. |
| Personally I think it's the best episode so far, the first part was full of fanservice (as always), but the rest of the episode was just great. How Akane made Riho finally put her feelings in order was very interesting, basically she told her: "if you don't want it, I'll keep it" xd Riho's confession easily enters the top so far this year, I have no proof but no doubts either.  |
| With the Familia's sales growing, so too is Akane's aggressiveness towards Hayato, because of Natsume Souseki's books, and thinking that he's under the spell of love and romance. Wanting to get a new bathtub for the family, and too bad that their funds are not adequate enough, so off to the bathhouse they go. Ami is just herself goofing around, and Akane had a moment where she thought that Riho was getting closeto Hayato. Even the wagashi lady boss is together with the girls to question of how they find Hayato now, and Akane's the only one being serious about it, though that's not what is on his mind to focus on the business. Since Riho has to prepare breakfast by going to the supermarket to get ingredients, she faces Akane's love troubles with Hayato treating her like he would, but that the oldest of the girls can't quite get enough courage to tell him that she likes him as well. That's alll that she needs to hear, and the romance fight has just begun between the two, even if to Hayato, Familia is still at the core of his mind, growing to be a ladies' man, or an actual hostess bar. Umi coming in with a challenge, but Akane will not back down against Riho, which Hayato understood the intention all too well. How far will this love polygon go? |

| Team Akane all the way, I don't usually like the cool aloof types but really like Akane, especially after she's started to open up a bit. Really hope we get a second season and Hayato picks one girl and we don't get a repeat of Bokuben (which had good first season and then terrible harem ending in S2). Plus the setting and slightly older age of the girls make this one of the best harems I've seen in years. Riho comes a close second followed by Shiragiku, just hope he doesn't end up with Ouka, she's too annoying and we've had so many red headed tsundere types being no 1 girl for years. Love the character designs for the girls, especially the eyes. |

| Akane's going after Hayato without holding back. She confessed saying "Tsuki ga kirei" from Natsume Souseki, that was great. She even made Riho admit her feelings. She's such a great girl, love her. |

Honestly Hayato is better than most guys, he isn't dense nor he afraid to pull punches I just wanted to point out that while he was portrayed as chad for the most of the series, here he did 180 and basically started acting as every other usual harem protagonist. This inconsistency kinda breaks his character a lot, yet at the same this this episode was better than many others so it would be probably better if he wasn't forced by the plot to be a chad from the start? Also, speaking of being dense - you are right he understands the feelings Akane and Riho at least but his *"I don't want to deal with this thing until the cafe is saved"* is basically the same thing and rather than being chad it kinda makes him almost asexual. As for examples of good non-stereotypical harem protags, there are actually plenty - be it obvious Araragi from Monogatari or Yuuji from Grisaia, even Kazuma from Konosuba but there is also Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo (although the anime was short and he is better portrayed in the manga). Hachiman from Oregairu. Arata from RELife. Kiyoshi from Prison School. You have Taichi from Kokoro Connect or Sakuta from Seishun Buta Yarou although you may argue those are more love polygon or drama seinen than harem. Heck, even Clannad or Steins;Gate are actually harem in a sense. But if you want more traditional choices, there is Kakei from Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai (again, better in VN) or Keima from Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai. Let's also not forget classic Golden Boy (people have short memory). Or are you looking for protag who never makes any mistakes and ladies loves him? Then you don't have to go far since this season has this trope in powerfantasy IseLeve. |

| Can't believe this one flew under my radar for this long. It makes sense since it's a generic rom-com/harem type, but this is like my bread & butter right here. Hayato sure is quite the ladies man lol. Akane's confession was very nice, especially using the "I love you" transaltion from Natsume Soseki. And she also eggs Riho on to confess her feelings towards the ladies man himself too. Another example of why Akane is best girl. Seems like we'll be getting some Shiragiku action next episode, excited to see the whole "childhood friend" thing they've been hinting towards. Got one episode left this season, hopefully they'll get greenlit for a season 2. |

| Riho and Akane confessed i guess. Cool. Doesnt feel like anything major they kinda just hit us with a generic anime trope. OH? you wont tell him you like him?!??!? ok i guess its fine if i blah blah blah. Im more interested in the preview we got for the next episode it looked interesting. |
