| alright episode. the small amount of fighting was done well, some of the parts with Aisha were pretty funny. the entire time they were eating i was thinking "who the hell is paying for all this food?" but i guess they figured that one out lol interested to meet this Fred character, he sounds like a real pain in the ass. |

| So the cylindrical thing with the eyes with Jim in the intro is the blue thing that zooms about the ship in episode 4, right? Melfina is an android? So is this a mechanical being happens to be able to consume food, a mistranslation like with the androids (artificial humans) in the Dragon Ball series or are they just using android in a loose sense and she's just biological but artificial? Does Aisha ever get to transform into her alleged beast form in this series? Like a body builder version of Holo from Spice and Wolf? At the end, I felt like her subordinate in episode 3 "gene can't hear you!". |

| Aisha is such a 90s character, in a good way mind you, but she's a character-type that really thrived in said decade. |
| I didn't like this one. The mood was too wacky after the first four relatively serious episodes. Also, the dub seemed kind of weird in this one; the opening dialogue was especially stilted. |
| Being Clanclan has a big appetite. Still, they are strong like beast, but only on a full moon. Like Werewolves. Gene didn't hold back and still took her seriously. I like that. Also, I can't get Asuka's voice out of my head whenever I hear Clanclan Aisha. I know they have the same VAs and all. Lol poor her, she has to clean and payback that tab. |
| Aisha is pretty cool. Normally cutesy catgirls annoy me, but she's alright. I like how Gene isn't completely fearless like a lot of MCs, his space trauma is massive. It gives him more dimension as a character. Melfina is an android. Noted. |

| Out of all the episodes I've seen so far of Outlaw Star, this one is probably the weakest one. But to be fair, Gene and co have literally just lost Hilda and are getting things sorted for the Outlaw Star so I guess it makes sense for the episode to be pretty lowkey but there's not a lot really happening as a result apart from having Aisha essentially join them on Blue Heaven and I guess they were pretty much setting up her dynamic for the Outlaw Star crew in the near future which I guess there's that. And we did have a bit of character development between Gene and Melafina and it looks like we are getting a new character introduced in the form of Fred Ludo. But other than that, there's not a lot going on in this episode, I get that Outlaw Star as a show can't all be action all the time and there's got to be some downtime in between all that, I get it, but the problem is that it's just Gene and co going around Blue Heaven plus Aisha. Don't get me wrong Aisha was funny again as she was in her first appearance but a lot of the episode is just them setting up the next one really. So again not a whole lot going on, it's an okay episode but there's not really a whole lot to talk about here but it does make me excited on what they are going to do for the next episode though, so fair's fair. |
