| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, Natsu is no messing around this episode. Neither are the spirits~ And finally some dragons are disappearing. The fight between Natus and Shadow Rogue was a bit meh. Bye bye Shadow Rogue. I thought the ending of this episode had more of that Fairy Tail classic feeling to it.  |

| That sure felt like an one-sided fight. It feels like only that one move occurred. o.o A dragon meteorite coming and destroying the gate. Making the dragons disappear. It felt really anticlimactic though. I am happy for Future Lucy! Meeting up with her friends there waiting for her. |

Trying to read his lips, it sounded like Acnologia. Future Lucy passed on to meet her guild mates again, so even future Lucy got a happy ending. And the NatLu moment the end, I loved it. Next week, it is party time at the palace, and it looks like the next chapter will only adapt one chapter as I expected it would when it got to this chapter. Next week is the celebration episode which One Piece is famous for, but Fairy Tail is not to shabby either with their party chapters, better than Naruto for sure. Yeah she got a happy ending. BUt in the afterlife. That piano rendition of the main theme also killed me |

That's how they neglect time paradoxes in shounen anime. They always force some story about some guys coming from the future to change something that would lead to disaster, but then eliminate the source of the problem, vanish the guys who came from the future but yet make it like the time travel still happened. That reveals how simpleminded is the writer. This time travel story had no sophistication at all! |

| looks like this arc is coming to a close. The foreshadowing they did was really good here. I still wish they could've added more content to future Lucy's "backstory" I guess you could say; so we could've gotten to know more of what she really went through. Also gotta admit, those nalu scenes were pretty awesome. : 3 |

| The battle between the wizards and dragons are finally over. The scene where future Lucy was reunited with her friends was touching. As well as Lucy gave Natsu an embrace from the back. On to the next arc! |

| I think that was a little more than a thank you hug at the end, one of the tenderer moments that we have seen to date--although many characters seem to be pairing off quite well. The scene of future Lucy rejoining her friends in the Summerlands also brought a tear to my eye...well done! |

| For all the Nalu Fans: This episode had that dragging out unnecessary things feel to it. Natsu getting up from almost falling from Motherglare took a while. Still, loved the Nalu moments in this. I wonder who Frosch gets killed by. Next episode looks like a laid back episode. From all the action, we needed one I guess. |

| I'm kinda uncertain as to whether Future Lucy actually passes on to the afterlife or if she woke up in a new future where the dragon attack never happened and all of her guildmates survived. If the Mirai Rogue thing never happened (except in their memories), then there's no reason for Mirai Lucy to have died in the first place. The golden fields do make it seem like she went to her final reward, but since her corpse has been lying around for pretty much an entire season, you'd think she'd have passed on well before now. Also, I noticed that even when dead(ish), they still find a way to strip Lucy naked :P Unless the manga has definitively stated that Future Lucy wakes up in the afterlife, I'm going to go with the answer that seems to make the most sense--that her death was negated by the destruction of the Eclipse Gate and she woke up in a new future. Enjoyed the conclusion to the Dragon King Festival arc, and interested where they take it from here. Also wonder who kills Frosch. Sting maybe? One of the other Exceed? Arcnologia? |

The echoey voices and the unnatural grass isn't proof enough for you. Or the fact that there is only blue sky and golden plains as far as the eye can see not to mention the rest of the guild is just shadows with no details? It's heaven. No doubt about it. |

| Yeah the dragon fight was a bit unsatisfying. Well, I'd rather have them have the dragon fight again after Natsu meets Igneel cause WHAT IF IGNEEL TEACHES HIM ANOTHER MOVE OR SOMETHING. That'd be worth it so I'll wait for now ;) Not really a NaLu fan cause I dislike Lucy but I'll accept this episode since the Future Lucy was wayyy better than present<3 Makes me want to learn the piano piece at the end now xD |

I'd really want to see a fight where Natsu goes through a real fight and wins without a power-up or something random. And as usual still waiting for Lucy to have her big moment for once xD About the ending, doesn't make much sence imo. A certain person was brought back to life by changing time a bit yet Future Lucy dies and stays dead. They even said that destroying the portal door would change what happened with the other Rogue coming yet the effects that shouldn't have happend, stayed... Or just apply some FT logic and I suppose it does make sense haha xD |

| Remember everyone: This is a simple shounen series, so don't even bother thinking about the time travel aspects. You'll just tie yourself into knots because it's extremely poorly done. Fun arc with a decent ending (I actually like them not taking down a single dragon), but very poorly written. Well, at least we get the party next ep, which will have plenty of fun moments. |

| Kinda felt anti-climate about that finale fight of Natsu and Future Rogue, but the ending of the episode with Natsu and Lucy made up for it. |

| Finally glad it is over. Although, destroying the gate was a quick solution. Glad that it didn't drag out more. Will wait for the next arc now... but we need to see some celebration again! |
