death / initial "Fami" revived justice, saying "anything for little sister"

That's when I thought it must be death, however the majority thought it's famine due to order of appearance in some old book. Majority, not everyone thought the same.

Anyway it's Fujimoto doing a rather forceful opinion change, because you drag the plot for that long pretending death is famine, then what can the reader do than finally accept it as fact despite the plot hole and inconsistencies. It's perceived as crap writing.
Then later he does something worse than a red herring / bait and switch, he pretends like it was death all along now, after many chapters of establishing death as famine.

Well people here liking this have to either have the smallest brains ever or they just like shock value for the sack of it…

Part 2 is still the meaning of taking a great series and throwing it in the trash bin of writing. Even the “twist” here is non impactful, why? Because Fami was non existent. You are gonna say: “Well that’s the point”, then congrats for beating the JJK fandom to being one of the most asinine communities out there to defend shock value with bad writing.

Btw, Fami was badly written, don’t know where the people saying she was well written came from, when literally for the past 60 chapters not one person here mentioned her in any sense of way. Shows how much these comment section is filled with people who think this is “peak”. Like enjoy it but admit how fanboyish you sound in the process, because wow you guys need to actually read good manga.

@Confused_100 I dont think you get why people like this twist, it's not because Fami is the Death Devil, it's because Fami being the Death Devil changes pretty much the entire story, for 90 chapters Fami was helping the main cast only for her to be the main villain, 90 chapters later, it's like she basically wrote the script without anyone knowing lol

Helping them… So when she trapped them in the aquarium that was helping them? She always did and said strange things since she appeared.

Imo it’s actually Yoru who has been creating the script from the beginning. Everything has been building up to that and Fami is just an obstacle not the main threat. This is called a bait and switch, that has been happening this whole part. It’s nothing but a shock value which won’t be the main problem.

All of this reaction is showing me that anyone impressed by this either doesn’t remember the last 90 chapters or just wanted a reason to justify and validate their feelings tbh. Look at the 90 chapters of part 1, and compare it with this. No impact, I literally feel nothing and don’t care. The characters are either so annoying or so asinine that I don’t care if they win or lose.

In part 1, there were actually characters I cared about, and liked and are likeable. Here technology no1. Denji is just going through loops and learning the same lessons. Asa is the only one who actually is likeable in any capacity and it looks like Fujimoto is going the route of “shock value so she will sacrifice herself”. Qunaxi, you remember her? I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t because surprise she only appeared as “shock value”. This is all reminding me of JJK the final arc, where nothing was interesting and when something interesting happened it never led to something but was just stopped by something else.

Hmm I was predicting the death devil to be Fumiko but it was actually Fami all along makes sense why she couldn't kill the guards in the prison break and why none of her powers were hunger related. Fujimoto kept us guessing wonder if anyone predicted it was Fami before April 1st I'll have to check online.
