| I usually only watch recaps if they have original content. The first two Madoka Magica movies are enhanced recaps with better art/animation, music, and English voice acting than the series, along with some new scenes. I prefer sub for the series and dub for the movies. |

| Nah, I'd watch a retelling in movie form and even then it's a rare occurrence. Unless they do what Kill la Kill did and jam the entire recap in the bit of time before the opening, with the rest of the episode being new content. |

| Occasionally. Sometimes when I come back to a show I need a recap because I haven't watched it in a long time. This is mainly for normal TV shows though. Recap in anime is typically just filler. |
