| Interesting that we got sci-fiish versions of Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid so close to each other. Like Patema Inverted and most Shinkai's filmography, this has impressive visuals and cool sci-fi elements, only to focus most of its duration on a kiddy underdeveloped teenage romance and then rushing through its setting and plot points in a fairy tale like manner. The only thing I genuinely liked besides the visuals was Uta's voice for not being the usual high pitched one. |

| Great aesthetics, everything else can't possibly be less generic, even Eve's generic pop music was included. At least artists will enjoy this one. |

| not quite as bad as I'd heard, perhaps a lil uninspired tho, with the potential to of been better. the one legged older dude's English VA is the VA of Zhongli in Genshin Impact, heard it straight away. |

| Poor plot just serving as escuse for a MARVELOUS ABSURDLY AMAZING ANIMATION! But still a pretentious poor devenloped tale, with cringe morals of "we must be togheter, stop the differences" lol |

| The ending should've ended where it says "...we will become part of a great spiral again. That's why...Someday let's meet again." I like that part. It has an impact on me somehow, unlike the actual ending. I just gotta say though. Uta and Hibiki have no chemistry. I'm sorry to say it. 🙁 |

| The visuals were stunning and even the setting had great potential... Unfortunately the story and world-building were lacking very much. I love "The Little Mermaid" and I even wouldn't mind a heartbreaking ending but please add more context, story and EXPLAIN. It feels like gaining nothing from watching this. But it was still fine... Still they wasted a lot of potential. |

| Very eye-candy movie with a bombastically good visuals. More so than Suzume dare I say. I can't point what exactly the movie was lacking to be a grand gem but it certainly did. Still, I decently enjoyed and finished it thanks to the lovely visuals. And I liked both mcs Hibiki & Uta, and their dynamic/romance. Both were very sweet. Although Uta barely said anything about herself and the fact that she eventually must turn back into bubbles. Hurtful for Hibiki to lose her in the end. |
It was a cool film, the story is pretty silly, but the production is impeccable! animation, direction, character design and ost, all is very well done. 🫧 |

| This movie has pure peak eye candy animation, visuals, character design, ost and others but dull story/plot and okayish characters huh but honestly, it's still decent and quite enjoyable for those positive aspects alone. Def not memorable since the story is pretty bleak but all in all it's just decent at best if I were to be nice enough for this ONA. Oh, and also it has a goated op song for this which is bubble by Eve feat. Uta and prob Eve's best song as of yet just slightly above Dramaturgy. 7/10 |

| And so Hibiki has broken out of his "bubble" with the help of Uta. All of our actions are part of a greater than life scale as shown and told in the movie so even if you feel like you don't matter, you do. Fantastic action sequences, especially the one near the end with Shin. Speaking of, the soundtrack combined with these crazy scenes reminded me a lot of Attack on Titan. Couldn't really get connected to the characters or the story, not to say the story was bad but it felt a bit uninspired. Great visuals though! |

| Surprised nobody mentioned the very clear nod to Close Encounters of the Third Kind with the melody. I feel there needed to be more run time and a bit more nuance to the story overall, but it was still neat. Visual were bar none, the vibes were very neat... Was definitely another one of those anime movies that sorta... does a thing, and leaves you going "huh." ...Honestly i did wonder what they could come up with, with "bubble" as their core theme, but they sure managed to pull a lot out of the concept. It was interesting they chose to get into the golden ratio stuff, and the red bubble entity was extremely intimidating and alien. It's reveal was one of those "YES!" moments from me... because i absolutely love these sort of abstract but scary alien entities that give you that "holy fuck." feeling when you are dominated by it's presence. It was definitely a sufficiently presented scary entity for something clearly shown it's destructive force in large scale, we know it could destroy worlds if it tried to. |
