| Maiko can't have anything strong, so when people like Kiyo take a day off, they're the envy of the lot whom are able to experience things like gyoza, infused with some heavy garlic. There's the bite-sized gyozas for Maiko...and there's the original looking gyoza for girls on their day off, which is the usual one that we eat outside. Sumire's day off together with Kiyo to town, and being the Maiko House's supply chain since their movements are quite restricted. Other than that, they get to be ordinary regular folk and experience the same as with any commoner, such as going to the supermarket to buy some eggs and making scotch eggs for all. A good stopping point, and that concludes the anime's year-long monthly episodic run. |

| TO PUT YOUR HEART INTO IT! Very nice episode. Sumire had her day off and spent it with Kiyo, and she enjoyed it. how cute. And that's how it ended. This anime was very good, the food facts were curious and it was also relaxing. |
| They sure finished on a high! I got emotional seeing how Sumire wanted to spend her day off. A good show. But the animation and art style always remained a bottleneck. |

| Such a beautiful show that went unnoticed due the 3DCG. I always loved those beautiful night-time backgrounds with the slow walking animation of Su-chan in her Maiko garbs. Hanakana carried this show pretty hard, but Ichimimi Mao (Su's VA) & Matsuda Satsumi (Tsurukoma-oneesan) worked as great compliments to the main dish in terms of banter and interaction. |
| I'll miss my monthly treat. I really enjoy this show and would love for another season. Appreciated how it humanizes the mysterious maiko and showcases the differences in Japanese cuisine. Also, Kiyo is such a sweet and thoughtful person. |
| I believe its been a while since we've seen Sumire in her normal attire. Nice way to end it by seeing her spend her day off with Kiyo. |

| Really nice to see them doing outside activities without being a maiko, well pretty good slice of life/cooking anime overall, it's kinda refreshing to get these themes |
