Sooo... what was the whole point of Kukuru visiting the competition aquarium in the previous episode, making a big kind of cliffhanger and just completely ignore that event in this episode.

There wasn't any event happening there, nor it was a big kind of cliffhanger either. Kukuru simply wanted to see what kind of aquarium they building. It was just people assuming that she's "gonna do something there, something bad" which was a stupid assumption.

The drama is just around the corner, but there we will have 14 more episode of this anime. I like the show a lot since episode one, the characters are good and likeable.

Yeah shit, this new aquarium is so big, they could put half of an Okinawa reef inside :D
Gama Gama will end, that is inevitable, at least all the fishes will have a new home in the future.

I guess Gama Gama is also beyond repair, it's not completely rundown, but you can see that it's old and a little scruffy. Ojii probably only wanted to give Kukuru a bit of experience with the director post for the last few months, but it is only giving her grief now .

Fuuka is honestly the only reason I am still watching this show. She has a great and well written character that keeps me invested.

Kukuru on the other hand is just not likeable to me at all. I get she is desperate to protect her dreams but the way she acts is so pathetic. Treating people from other Aquarium like trash, doing bogus advertising for your own Aquarium.

I really hope Gama Gama closes and she can learn to accept that not everything in life goes like you want and you have to learn to move on.

Really also hope Fuuka accepts the movie role and goes back to being an idol.

first of all, would have to say that Kukuru taking away the watermelon when they were eating is rude! Fuuka might be still wanting to eat one. Kukuru should be glad her friend is getting another chance to reach her dream again.

also Kai did the right thing to not say that he saw a vision. If he said he saw one, then Kukuru would keep trying to advertise it.

Exactly! That was so rude man. At the end of the day Fuuka does not have any obligation to Kukuru. Fuuka is an employee who is working for Kukuru. She works for the food and lodging that they give her so its not like she owes them or anything.

I hate how selfish and self-centered Kukuru is. She wants her dream to come true but doesn't care for her friend and if her friend's dream comes true.

Really getting tired and sick of her.

Errr... the miracle viewing thing...that's a wild move.;; I guess she's feeling desperate.
Also, I guess they're really going to start hammering in Kai and Kukuru as a potential romance maybe? I mean, they've been not-so-suubtle about Kai liking Kukuru. I wonder if she will ever return those feelings though. I'ma just ship everything. :U

You know, Kukuru's taking this hard, but she could maybe learn a bit from Kuuya. He's not taking it super well, but at least he's being chill about it. At the same time, he's at least drinking age, so there's a bit of an age gap and perhaps more life experience there.

Sigh. I wonder how this will go. Admittedly, the whole visions aspect of the show is something they could have done without, in my opinion. But we'll see how this little miracle event goes. If the pay off is at least okay then I'll go ahead and take it back.

This miracle event thing is really not a good way to attract customers. And the illusion that those few troubled people get to see is something that happens naturally it's not something you should advertise cuz people definitely won't see it if that is their sole intention.

Also it's natural for some people to feel embarrassed to reveal what they actually saw or that they even saw an illusion.

It would be more realistic if Kukuru decides to let go of this dream cuz there are some dreams that you have to give up on even if you don't want to.

Why didn't they show what happened after Kukuru went to visit the construction site of Aquarium Tinngara?

Kai managed to have the "visions" with that past segment with little Kukuru, but still we don't know what is causing that except maybe regrets or missing people

A bit last minute brainstorming and a few half assed ideas mhhh. Gama Gama crew really about to hit the lowest point soon. Kukuru ain't ready for it.

But I like that there are still some light hearted moments here and there. Another very nice episode again, especially on the Kukuru x Kai front.

So they acknowledged the illusions as an actual thing the characters experience lol.

When the short hair girl took the watermelon she really showed she still a child.

Not only she's gonna lost the aquarium, Fuuka is leaving her too, so things are not looking good in the horizon for Kukuru. I wonder if Fuuka ever thought about how she didnt defend her dream as much as Kukuru did, and i think seeing Kukuru's dream come through or supporting her till the end even if her dream didnt come through would be the reason she will reject the movie offer. But the movie offer is like a second chance to get her dream back so im curious what she'll do after this.

I'm loving the show overall, but this conflict of Fuka being offered a position in a film shouldn't be a conflict. They said to respond by the end of summer. She's going to leave at the end of summer to finish school anyway. It makes no sense for this to be so upsetting to Kukuru. It also doesn't make sense as to how Fuka relayed the info, either. Again, they said to respond by the end of summer. Fuka could and should have contacted the people trying to get her for the film already. She should have asked for details like where and when she would need to be if she accepts the offer before letting Kukuru know. It's a stupid non-conflict. There's no reason for anyone to have new negative feelings. There has been ZERO change to the trajectory of the summer. If Fuka needs to respond by the end of summer, that implies she doesn't need to be back in Tokyo until the day after the end of summer at the earliest if she decides to accept. It's not freaking the year 1500. She can get on a plane and be back that same day.
