Well, I like the Chinese style clothes this episode. It adds a bit of style.

Also, it seems their business is really blooming and gaining popularity. Proud of how far Ryouma has grown mentally with the way he's running this business. It's not easy for sure but they're able to serve the public really well.

Even though not many people wanted to work with him and with the slimes he has now a lot of new workers, Fei and Li Ling seem really kind even though they are ex-assassin (well that's still weird, I still would be a bit afraid tbh xD)
He really started a huge business with his laundromat, I wonder what will happen next now that he has all the workers he needed

Similarly to last episode with Ryoma working the business trying to get it flourishing adding some more employees. Ryoma has found some good people to help with his new business. The scene at the Guild with those people scoffing at working with Ryoma and his slimes kinda made me mad. Like those people are snobs, they don't know what they're missing by passing on such a great boss. Ryoma is definitely ending the cycle of workplace abuse by making sure his employees are well taken care of to the ultimate degree. Hiring more not only for the help but to make sure the work load isn't too much and they can take breaks. Giving them dorms to stay in along with great pay, Ryoma is the perfect boss. Li Ling was right saying it'd be hard to work anywhere else after there. Ryoma not being prejudice after learning her and her father Fei were assassins proves even more how great a guy he is. Even giving them more pay to compensate of them being the company bodyguards. Ryoma hiring more employees by the end of this episode, getting a cook is a nice gesture to shoe his employees even more care.

Ryoma's laundromat business continues to great fanfare...though I'd wish they'd move on soon and not hang over this sub-plot for too long (and yes I understand this is meant to be the Iyashikei form of Isekai, but it does a disservice to the LN and manga just by displaying the too-safe portions).

But discussing this over at the Merchant's Guild sure perplexes everyone, not to mention using slime monsters. The good thing is, new workers of "former assassins" father-daughter duo Fei and Li Ling don't resign to the ambitious idea, and Ryoma has more hands to deal with the growing business and covering all corners.

Eliaria getting wimpy that Ryoma is focusing too much on his job...the secret wimps of a "crush" LULZ

Ryoma's learnt from his pre-Isekai lessons of being a manageable owner, that's for sure for a former overworked worker that disciplines workers' welfare in exchange for good, civilized business (even though that's very foreign to Isekai worlds). Regardless though, more workers means more work-life balance, and that has been achieved.

Expanding business for Ryoma soon?

TL;DR business is booming, very comfy to watch, although I'm wondering whether they're gonna pursue romance with the blonde girl further (which is what I bet on when they brought up infantile regression in Ryoma because that felt like a potentially usable ploy to justify him falling in love with her without pedophilic vibes)
This anime shit is addictive

At this point this anime is just here to make me happy. Every single thing that happens in this show is really positive. And it makes me kinda sad sometimes but I hope Ryoma is doing well in his isekai world.

Ryouma is the best boss you could ever ask for lmao. Dude understands the importance of taking care of his employees and boosting productivity.

Glad to see business is continuing to boom for him and I enjoyed seeing Ling and Fei’s integration into the place. Such a nice and relaxing time watching this anime

I’m glad this arc is over tho. Ngl definitely was on my phone a lot these last two eps compared to the 2 prior.

He is a good boss, a boss everybody would like to have. He knows the feeling of having a poor boss in his past life, so he made the correct choice by being nice to his employees. Good boi.

I had never heard of that sub-genre before, despite now watching anime for many years, so thanks for this little tidbit :)

what did you mean by "safe parts" though? is there also a darker element to this story?

The Laundromat arc still continued? Ah yes, nevermind. Its still full of Ryouma's wholesomeness. I can't complain much, they really need to established the idea, until its very detail, on the whole week. Another characters introduction, its good to know those lady Merchant Guild Master really brought a nice one. The recruitment part was so funny, they just dumped Ryouma like that. They really waste their good lives right at the bat, stupid peoples, hope it didn't lead them into any jealousy xd.

Well, the chinese girl was so beauty. Her father was so funny. And the rest of Ryouma's employer from the next Merchant Guild recruitment, all looked so nice. How awesome Ryouma lives there. Guess, his happiness already increased beyond its limit.

Okay, next episode!

For context, Iyashikei is a genre by itself, just that in the anime medium it's hard to even identify such sorts of shows (until you've seen them like 3/4 the way down). And yet, you only know when it's Iyashikei by the foretelling of comfy moments a.k.a Yuru Camp.

This anime adaptation of the LN is kinda bad, because there's darker elements in the LN/manga, but I can understand why they choose not to insert those in since the "comfy" feeling was the objective right from the start. It's just a nitpick of the source material being better in every way.

I don't know much about this, but was this Japanese taking shots at China? The bit about Fei and Li Ling running away from their country, "greedy border guards," getting hurt/maimed in a mine, etc.

Not trying to start any drama, just wondering if anyone else saw that angle...

Man, I would sure love to have Ryoma as my boss. I'd work for him until I retire. Another great and comfy episode, I love how wholesome the show is. I also like the new hired employee's especially Li ling. There's really something about Chinese girls in anime that I really find attractive.

Damn, already thinking about opening up a branch. That's good business right there. Looking forward to more comfy shit next episode.

Ryouma's business is making a huge success, so much so that he may already have branches but I think growing up so fast can be a problem.

He has the "Blessed by the Gods" powers. His tamed slimes can have near infinite range and operate independent of their master.

Also, slimes are one of the lowest level animals to tame. He could easily hire tamers to manage the slimes abroad. It is his monopoly on the breed of slimes that is making him money.

What's so surprising about it? would you work under an 11 year old boy? just based on that fact alone? well others won't as well, they might have a feeling that it's just not very serious, there might also be some pride elements, I personally wouldn't want to be ordered by a brat.
As far as slimes go, they are considered to be the weakest creatures and suddenly someone wants me to work alongside them. You have to understand that slimes were useless and noone paid too much attention to them apart from some indiivduals and researchers, but Ryouma is the one who understood their true potential, but they don't know it. I'm sure you could think of bunch of insects or animals that are pretty useless and not highly regarded in society and imagine working with them as buddy buddys. First thing you'd think is that the boy is totally out of his mind...

Btw, if you are interested, in novel he first revealed that he is a manager and 83% of people left, leaving only 5 remaining and then he mentioned slimes, that's when the other 3 left.

Oh also, in the novel Ryouma explained that he didn't want to mention about how high the pay is as well as all the other benefits, because he didn't want people to not be interested in him or slimes and just work for money.

Enjoyed Lee Ling and Fei's introduction a lot! that was my favorite chapter in the novel and it took 16 minutes to adapt, i'm very positively impressed! The adaptation was amazing, they did miss out a few things like how Ryouma wanted Grisella to leave saying he needs to discuss something about the security of the store with them and its private, while in reality he was afraid that he might not defend her, were they attack them, he could defend himself, but he can't guarantee he will be able to protect her. Grisella read him like a book and refused to leave and that's when Fei revealed it himself that they are assassins...
It's pretty minor, but still a nice detail. Otherwise it was amazing! I like how they were all like: "Are you really gonna hire us after all this?" and he not only hired them but gave them so many benefits, not to mention healing, Ryouma learning from his past life on how to be a good boss lol.

Liked seeing Fin and the other 3 girls joining in as well, they look cuter and younger than I imagined them to be. Hope we get an adaptation of a chapter about them.

I would work under a brat for a few days to see if he has what it takes to command and communicate his business. Pride has nothing to do with this. It is true that with experience and status, a bit of pride does show up. However, letting it always cloud your judgement and scrutinizing capabilities is kind of a dumb move. In most fictional settings, slimes are pretty disgusting and useless. I agree with that point, but when considering this anime and the tamer guilds rep, most of the people should scrutinize the boy and his skills and then make judgements. This could've gone better if he had shown his compatibility with his slimes and their unique types. As far as the LN goes, I do know the anime takes a much lighter and fluffy tone as compared to a rather difficult one in the LN.

Ooops I blinked and up to this episode now.

And now I've got a complaint.

My light hearted Fantasy, Isekai, switching from realistic swords and sorcery to spice and wolf mercantilism (almost), just became what I think is the worlds first 'business harem'. Someone tell me I am wrong?

The Cute Girl count in his circle went from:

1 - Dukes Daughter
1 - Cat Girl Adventurer
1 - Wolf Girl Adventurer
1 - Bunny Girl Adventurer
1 - Tiger Girl Adventurer
1 - Half of a fraternal Twin set
1 - Foreign Looking Girl
4 - New additions!

Not counting Granny Guild Master Elite, Dukes Wife and Maids... that's a local connection count up 57% (This beats Flag-kun's record harem build I think)

And I'm sure some of the recurring customers are not just nameless NPCs too.
Be thankful for those you have near who are dear
For time is not always kind to those who would be on your mind
Seize the day, some exclaim, but that which is past, no more shall have its day.

I don't see how Ryoma could open other branches. I get that he seems able to have his slimes operate remotely to some extent, but they're his tamed creatures. I assume he has to be at least reasonably nearby and check on them periodically. Branches wouldn't be able to work without the cleaner slimes and they shouldn't work without Ryoma.
