| The art was nice but..I did not get anything.. What was up with "the happy drawn fortune" when the guy touched her? (Does that mean the woman was dead or similar because it was not the bad fortune? I really have no idea, maybe something was amiss in my translations) |

| I think when she prayed for help she was able to pass on the sacrifice to someone else. Either that or she was on some really wonky drugs lol Creepy talking baby in a boat is definitely cringe worthy. |

| It seemed to me like she willingly passed the sacrifice onto the dude. The boat flashback included her pleading for her life and stating she'll do anything, ending with the baby stating their was nobody else to be sacrificed, but clearly she hasn't been sacrificed. She was also really dead-set on her husband not touching her throughout the episode, and pretty much passed on the curse after the guy grabbed her arm, implying touching her (or at least her arm) is how it transfers. I doubt the curse cares one iota who gets cursed but she'd certainly want to prevent her husband from befalling that fate, hence the "don't touch". I like having the pieces to solve that ending together, and I think the art was certainly really well-detailed this episode, likely the strongest episode from the show in that department. Once it got on the boat, I actually thought the art is really impressive right now, which isn't something I've ever thought before watching this show. Still, not even remotely scary, and the whole fortune/evil-baby stuff felt too randomly combined that it was kinda losing me. Like, part of the reason the artwork impressed me then I think was because the situation was starting to seem dumb and causing me to focus elsewhere. Still, the puzzle piece element helped the episode, so I wouldn't call this a bad episode. |
