Me and my mom have always lived in an apartment, house or room for rents so far. And so I decided that after I finish college, found a work, had saved enough I would buy a small house for us both. It's such a pain in the ass transferring from one house to another all this time (because of mom's work), so I like a permanent settlement.

My ideal house would be something of moderate size, not too small and not too big. Just enough for it to have a storage room outside, and probably 3 bedrooms(master's room, guest room, an extra room for well.. a work place. I don't want to be disturbed or to disturb mom when she's sleeping so I'd do my work on another room. The master's room just have to stay as a resting place.) I like the house to have a garden and a place to have a pet. I also like it to be distant to the city so that it is quiet and less pollution. Near to the hospital, in case of emergencies. How about you MAL?

I think it's cute you want to buy a house for yourself and your mom. Just made me go aww.

I dislike houses in general and prefer flats. They feel more cozy, they are easier to maintain and it makes me feel safer having many neighbours so close. So my ideal place would be a nice small flat (one bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom) in a clean and quiet neighbourhood. Oh, and a balcony! It has to have one. It also can't be on the ground floor (current flat is and it sucks for several reasons).

A fairly large house on the countryside, with a huge garden so that I can let my future dogs run around freely. Wouldn't mind if the architecture was from... Say, 1920's. I'm a bigger fan of older buildings, don't really like how industrial the modern approaches are.

A beach house would be my ultimate choice. Having a view of the ocean just outside would be romantic as hell. Barring that, I loved the last house I lived in, a freshly painted two story house in the cleanest, quietest neighborhood I've ever been in.

A beach house is really nice too, but gah it's dangerous when there's a typhoon.

If I was living on my own, a high-rise penthouse. With at least 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. It would have to have a large living room and a "work out room" of some sort. A huge window view of the city would be amazing.

If I were living with a family, probably a large house in a semi-large city. 4 bedrooms and at least 3 baths, a pool, and a dojo.

Keep in mind this is my ideal house. I could live with a one room apartment tbh.

It is ideal for a reason. I won't be alone though since that house will be for my parents or friends whenever they want a place to stay. People tend to say my house has ton of stuff to be occupy oneself with thanks to the musical instruments(keyboard, electric organ, guitars), TVs with hi-fi, a miniature library, computers and a medium-sized backyard. You can see I like this idea enough to bring this over to my ideal house.

I live on a family homestead, and I'm fine with that. We have two houses, and my grandparent's house is pretty big, probably the biggest house around here. I'm expected to take over and live there in the future, but I'm not as sure about that. However, it is a nice house, I could use it as a party house.

I don't feel comfortable in apartments.

I would like a relative small house(having big mansions might seem cool but who the hell can maintain and clean that shit? Even rich folks end up being unable and sell them after a while) that can be more cool in the summer and more warm in the winder. Good pluming and in an area with good internet choices and not too far from a small city.

Also it should have lots of power-blugs everywhere the toilet paper holder and the bathroom sink isn't low.

Pretty much same as OP. A moderate sized house with every kind of room/utility I want (which would take me a while to list and am not bothered to).

People who haven't cleaned their rooms don't realise how annoying it would be to clean a house with more rooms than they could dream of cleaning.

My current house is like 10 minutes away from city, but it's kinda big and really nice. What I really want is a house in the mountains. Away from everything, ya know.

My ultimate fantasy is having a nice dojo in the house. So that I could train like all the time and shyt.

An arcade would be nice too.

I don't mind if my house is small or not, only the required rooms are enough, as long I can decide on the colors for walls and I can paint everything. I think you can make your future house a lil bit more significant for you -and your mom- in you put some effort on decorations and subtle aspects which really come to mind when you think about it, like ''oh that, I've make that table with pieces of colored glass I found in my way home''.

I can see you focus more on the decorations inside the house :) For me, so far I have an idea on the interior and outer design, if ever I plan to build the house. But I'll keep things realistic for now, I don't think I'll have enough savings right after college and a few years of working so a small one will do, then decorations will come next. Thanks for the suggestion btw!

Simple two-story house is fine for me, but how it accommodates the cars I want in the future will be the selling point. I do want a 3-car garage at the very least.

If I can store cars like this in the garage, then I'm sold.

A large mansion near the countryside with a nice meadow, a pond or lake, a large game room which also doubles as my anime room with my vast array of figures, a single bedroom with a massive angel soft bed and some erotic paintings above the bed, a guest bathroom and a master bathroom, a large sized, well stocked kitchen, a large pool, a basement large enough for 100 people to party in, well stocked with vodka and wine, a small workshop to repair old gaming systems, and a mid sized greenhouse to grow vegetables, and a large empty room to be used by my significant other for whatever they want.

Ideally I want two homes, one in the city and one in the mountains to which I can retreat at will. My mountain house should be isolated, peaceful and quaint with a library.

I guess If I were to live in a city - which I'll have to for most of my working life, I'd live in some sort of flat. Ideally this would be a relatively large flat, with room for nice furniture and a Jacuzzi.

I love a house on a hill, it must be slightly on the outskirt of town so I could have a wide unobstructed view of the surrounding scenery. Preferably keep it simple and small but it must have a basement and a separate storage room. I would fancy a big garden, probably put some plants, flowers, and vegetables.
