| This ep is sad af! Everytime I watch this ep, I'm in tears. Seeing Shinichi denying the horrible fact and getting stabbed by his-mother-looking parasyte made me feel so emotional. And his guilt for causing the scald on her arm made it even worse. It all made him being defenseless at that point so realistic, natural & helpless. |

| Why does Shinichi act stupid? |
| Well the Opening ruined the plotwist. I hope they have a bigger plotwist in store for this. Lol'd at the parasite that can't hold his pee. |

| so sad to see shinichi unable to bear the fact that his mother became a parasite. He bears guilt for her burn and him being not the best son as well as the duty to kill parasites and protect the ones he cares about but was unable to protect the person who loves him most, his mom. Seeing him cry at the end and become delirious was so sad but was needed because he kept faltering. I guess this is the thing that will cause the main character to finally stop stalling an and turn on the switch the resolve to fight against these pests. Great episode. I did love the mom she was so caring. |

| I'm so tired of degenerates beating up people in some street corner its so ridiculously overdone. At least there was a point to Migi not interfering in these cases and it made Shinichi a more interesting character, but damn, despite all that its so annoying to see this all the time. |
| The beginning showed how brutal humans can be. It seems there will always be those idiots who think it's cool to beat someone up. Surprising was the fact that this Kana girl saw something in Shinichis eyes however this is possible. Also the second time where these guys took Satomi, Migi almost went in for action. Good thing those guys from Shinichis school showed up. The second half was just heartbreaking. My god. As soon as they showed Shinichis parents I knew it was over. FUCK THAT.... I don't want to think about the feelings you would have in such a moment. To make it even more cruel, this parasite came back home as Shinichis mother. That's so fucked up. I mean, who would accept the fact that your mother got killed and inherited by a parasite? But nows the question, how will Shinichi survive this? He got deadly injured. |

| The whole breakdown was stupid and poorly managed. A guy that has already killed a man and that's been affected by a parasyte in a deep, brain-level way, can't be that retarded to deny a fact and expose himself to a life-threatening event. We aren't that stupid, we have instincts. Moreso someone like the protag, who was already been through a lot of shit. |

| The dubstep used at the end during Shinichi's emotional breakdown was bad, and almost ruined the scene for me. But the rest of the content was good, although a tad fast. He lost his parents essentially in a flash, and was emotionally conflicted so much when having to see the parasite version of his mother and manipulate himself into thinking that this is all an illusion in his head. Reality stabbed him in the heart though at the end. Also, got introduced to Kana in this episode and she definitely seems like a curious character from this episode, especially with her suspicions regarding Shinichi's nature when taking a closer look at him or while shaking his right hand. |

| Well shinichi is getting his mc backstory arc right now.....both parents are dead now,so it will be motivation now.....well great episode though |
| Wow, parents in anime (especially the mothers) really can't catch a break. At least she died instantly though I wish it just inhabited Murano instead. |
