| Yeah the pacing is kinda bad, but I'd rather have it at this high tempo than what we had for the first half of the season. Wish Pheles would join the Sakai harem, she needs more screentime for sure. Also, Hecates nuke-staff was epic. |

| Wow. This must be the best episode I've seen so far in season 2... Even though I didn't get the reason behind all those things happening which was kinda annoying... So... Yuji's never gonna get high and mighty :|? The best he can do is Silver/Johan which to the prospect of fighting besides Shana are useless?... |

| So much going on in the last few episodes. Especially this one, one turn after another. When Yuji turned into Johan, it was like "WAIT.. WTF". & Leon-Gun said: If Margery doesn't realize that Bel Masque and the Silver are connected, someone better hit her...and hard. Agreed. |

| What Satou said at the end was dead on: TOO much happened all at once. DX I mean, for them - I'm not surprised Yuuji pretty much seemed to get completely overwhelmed. I loved the episode... A lot did happen, but I think for the most part I still grasped what was going on. The... "fusion" of Hecate and Konoe? Not sure if you can call it that, but it was interesting. I couldn't help but think, then, "Oh, so Hecate was working on that whole "missing personality" thing that was the deal at the end of the last season..." XD She had Konoe go out and make memories for her. At least it sort of seemed that way, haha... |

| Well that was pretty confusing, but a nice episode nonetheless. Shana get closer to Yuji and it looks like the problem with Pheles is gone. Now only the Silver remains. Imo this is a bit too ridiculous how much sh1t is in Yuji. Being a Mystes and the Silver thing was more than enough. So we were right about Konoe. Though by absorbing those memories I think she is going to be good later, or at least she will retain her feelings for Yuji. Also, yes...please give more sh1t to Yoshida so that we may see that annoying whiny little brat more... >_> |

I don't get all that Yoshida-hate. Shana will get Yuji, if someone will it, but only because she is the main character. When you focus on the story of them, Yoshida was in love with Yuji long before Shana appeared, she just didn't know how to express herself. If you see it this way, it is Shana who is there to speed up things in the relationship between Yoshida and Yuji, not the other way round. And Yoshida would be a better fit, as Shana is busy fighting and stuff. Even if you ignore this, Shana wouldn't be anywhere where she is without Yoshida. Also, all three flame haze stood there in awe and stared when Pheles first captured Yuji. Yes, that includes Shana (who, as i said, was also the one with tears in her eyes later), the one who is totally different from the whiny, useless brat Yoshida. Yoshida might not be able to do much, but the impact Shana has during situations like this is literally the same - none. She's just waiting, at a loss at what to do, even if she gets her act together (she's been a flame haze for at least several years, being trained for it since she was a small child), she does some stupid attacks (if she doesn't stop because the enemy is threatening to do something to Yuji, which they usually do even if she stops, as thats the perfect time for it) which don't accomplish anything, and someone else has to point her in the right direction, often enough it's Yuji who saves the situation. Just look at the fight here. Yuji gets captured by Pheles - Shana does nothing (no, shouting doesn't coun) Pheles starts doing stuff to Yuji - Shan does nothing. A huge silver arm coming from inside Yuji pierces Pheles - Shana does nothing. The arm is draining Pheles power - Shana does nothing The arm retracts - Shana does nothing Wilhemina catches Pheles with her ribbons, Shana finally starts doing something. Margery casts some spells on the silver arm - Shana is worried and doesn't know what to do Margery tells Shana not to get in the way - Shana doesn't get in the way -> Shana does nothing Yuji catches the spells for Margery - Shana is worried and doesn't know what to do Konoe flies towards Yuji, Shana only wonders about it. Konoe summons her staff and hits the spells, Shana draws her sword Konoe notices it, shoots something after Shana - Shana dodges, but isn't able to do anything else. Konoe makes the silver arm disappear and stabs Yuji - Shana is worried, repeatedely tries to fly to Yuji, but to no avail. Hekate appears - Shana does nothing Hekate fuses with Konoe - Shana does nothing Hekate attempts to disassemble Yuji - Shana clashes with Hekate, but Hekate manages to fight her off and to cast a spell on Yuji. Shana notices only now that Yuji is falling. While falling, Yuji changes into Johan, who promptly flies away with Pheles. Shana only manages to follow Pheles and Johan with quite a delay, gets blast away, falls down, and would have crashed into the ground if not for Alastor, who woke her up, or Margery (!!), who would have catched her. While she is falling, Hecate disappears again, having accomplish nearly all objectives. After regaining consciousnes, Shana is at a loss again, until Johan, who dropped from Pheles arms, changes into Yuji again. She pursues only then, even though she knew that Johan was inside the Reija Maigo, and even though she saw Yuji change into Johan. She catches Yuji, hugs him so hard it hurts and has tears in her eyes. After the short scene where Pheles hands Yoshida the Hougo, theres a small timeskip, so lets see what Shana accomplished compared to Yoshida: Uh..she was at a loss several times, lost a melee fight with Hekate, who isn't exactly the best fighter for all we know, lost her conscious, nearly crashed into the ground even though she can fly, started several fruitless attempts to get near Yuji, endangered herself despite Alastors warning not to fly too long in the "Magnesia" cast by Fecor..and she finally catched Yuji, getting tears in the eyes because of it, who only was falling down because she failed all the time before. And that wasn't even really needed, i mean, Wilhemina could have used her ribbons to catch him, and Margery was still in the air, too. And what did Yoshida accomplish? She wished for being able to do something and followed the fight from the ground, staying relatively calm. And then she got distracted by Pheles landing next to her. So..Yoshida did..nothing. Out of nothing she could have done. And Shana did..nothing, out of who knows what she could have done. Maybe killing Hecate and Fecor, then helping Margery with scanning the silver, even drawing him out, so Margery could have dealt with it, which also would have let to a "normal" Reiji Maigo, which could even have lead to a conclusion to the story of Pheles/Johan. I don't know, looks like a 0:0 for me. Now, Yoshida was interested in Yuji long before Shana, makes it a 1:0. If you count that Shana is the main character, it:s 1:1. Seeing that Shana is always fighting, can't cook, insulted Yuji at first etc., while Yoshida is a friendly girl, bringing him and the others bento and other stuff, it could even be a 2:1. It certainly isn't that clear cut, and it's slightly in favor of Yoshida. Unless you decide to ignore *everything* and simply hate her because she is "disturbing" Shana and Yuji. And the best thing is, Yuji didn't even acknowledge yet that he knows that they love him, as long as he doesn't notice that, it's moot anyways. If you watch Fairy Tail, it's like with Gray and Juvia. Juvia is hopelessly in love with Gray, but Gray got no clue and doesn't seem that interested anyways. I do not hate Shana, and i would totally accept Yuji ending up with Shana and Yoshida just being a friend/her ending up with Ike (though she isn't interested in him right now..), i simply do not get that Yoshida-hate. Heck, it's worse then with most idiotic main characters, it seems like there are more people who liked Shinji or Shu (Guilty Crown) then Yoshida. |

| Wow great episode! whew! finally a ShanaXYuji moment Yuji is getting stronger i like that, he got better here in season 2 although a clueless newb >_> (still like him tho) that prick yoshida hogging the whole scene since season 1 this anime is not about Shakugan no "Yoshida" wtf!! This is MADNESS! "ahem" -.- whenever she talks my mind just immediately say "STFU whore" i had enough with her. Sighhh |

With all the crazy stuff that has happened to him you think he might manage to be a bit calmer when faced with danger or bizarre situations. But, nope, he still freaks out over everything. Though, I will admit that having a giant suit of armor come out of your body would have to be unnerving. |

| It seems like Shana loves Yuji much more than Yoshida. If Yuji's life is in danger it's literally: Shana: NO YUJI DON'T DIE Yoshida: Hmm, Yuji is dying. This would be a good opportunity for me to make a move Yoshida was starting to leave a good impression on me, now she is just being fucking annoying. |

| Dat sneaky Konoe... Bitches be like ''I was a Joker card all along! HAHAHA''. Fooled them all. Well, so as I thought, Hecate used a double similarly to Pheles. I just wonder if it's the last time we'll see Konoe. Unlike Pheles ''clone'', Konoe seemed to have a distinct individuallity, even if she looked like a puppet at the end. I wonder what that cross Pheles gave to Yoshida mean/is suppose to do. Maybe it will be something that will be activated by a trigger again. Triggers everywhere... xD That horned guy was just too funny looking with that tailored suit :P Also, the crazy scientist is back. Now Margery will have an even bigger track to follow since Hecate showed up to lock the Silver Knight in Yuuji. I don't think that Sydonay will be happy though that the leader lady (forgot her name) played with Hecate like that. Shana got all emotional at the end, cute :3 Tanaka will end up completely crazy if it continue like this. If I was Margery, I would retire him the object that make him able to move in a Fuzetsu and cut the links with him. It would be the best for his mental health. |

| Intense episode. It was obvious Fumina was just a clone with bit of her sentience but I wonder more how her memories changes Hecate now. Seems like Hecate is on a good side afterall? She sealed Reiji Maigo, right? (what I still don't understand is who created as in the last episode it was implied it was Pheles and the translation of the name would suggest that too as Reiji Maigo really means Stray Child of Midnight as Pheles and Johan played prank on the time so that it loses the track of itself during midnight). So as Johan, Yuuji is basically just living by the energy of that fatefull day all over again, never escaping the cycle (until he copes with his death and forgo his mystes). So yeah, he was right the time is frozen for him. |

| Lots of things happened and many things went over my head. Looks like Johan didn't want Yuji to die. Somehow Hecate was able to teleport near Konoe and absorb her. Too many variables to make any predictions for me. That cross shaped object Kazumi was holding was a hougu given to her by Pheles then. |
| A nice action-packed episode. Having more than two parties in a same location is bound to create interesting chaos, it's great. The Yoshida hate is ridiculous. I would like to see you try and be more useful, when you are just a regular human, while half a dozen characters who can nuke entire city blocks are duking it out in the sky by shooting fireballs and lasers. I'm sure you'd all do soooo much better than Yoshida. Shana also wouldn't be half as nearly developped as she is without Yoshida. |
