Another show that's been on my radar for many years

Second season, fun self aware comedy, just absolute insanity man.

Ten minute episodes, wacky premise and characters. Pretty weak ecchi. Average show, but would no doubt watch a 2nd season probably lol

Not too bad, just that it finished before it could really get started. The script was good.

Kind of funny

This was great IMO, didn't really know what to expect. Though I am a sucker for a sadder story. 9/10. Very character driven, couldn't help but smile when the sisters were on screen. Great coming of age story, looking forward to seeing how it develops.

It's been over two years since I watched March Comes in Like a Lion 2nd season, and a short, disjointed recap of the first half of season one, can still make me tear up like this. This show is too much man.

A re-watch of the whole series is definitely in order. Kind of waiting/praying for a 3rd season though.

Charcoal Animation

Ep 1 - Truly one of the anime of all time. I was getting mesmerized by this technique in animation, and then penis outta nowhere

Ep 2 - Would make a decent horror film. I love the eerie soundtrack in this one.

EP 3- Little people as the water cycle, the limits on charcoal animation on display though.

Pretty entertaining and those ending segments are possibly even better with the improvised dialogue lol

One of the better harem anime I've seen. Felt genuine and was funny. Art and character designs are amazing.

Probably the best, mature harem I've seen. Story and relationships develop further.

I feel like she was the most neutral and forgiving choice here, probably wouldn't ruffle as many feathers if somebody else were chosen. She wasn't my first choice, but I enjoyed all the developments with all five girls, so it isn't really a problem personally. Not as good as the TV show, but satisfying enough. 8/10.

What should have been in S2 or the movie, I would have felt something more for Yotsuba in that case.

Story wasn't anything special IMO. A dystopian drama that's main cast is a bunch of kids. I've seen it all before. What was good though was the directing and the soundtrack, absolutely brilliant. 7/10 overall.

Slightly better than the first season for me, 8/10. Average story, carried tremendously by excellent productions values and a decent cast.

That was CGDCT school slice of life in it's purest form really, an easy watch and a formula I'll seemingly never get tired of lol

Shoujo slop in terms of plot, but it was presented pretty nicely. Songs actually fell into place well and were OK to listen to.

Not too bad, a little overly melodramatic for my liking at times, didn't like that tonal shift. Reminded me of Tenchi Muyou, just not as good.

Not too bad, once you've seen one Gainax anime, you've seen them all tbh (only half serious). I agree with the review that gave it a 6/10, the comedy was very hit or miss for me as well and FLCL did it better. Great character duo and a brilliant, but disheartening ending. 7/10.

After not liking Citrus or Bloom unto You (it was OK), this was a breath of fresh air. Directed well, cute characters, etc... I felt silly watching them, job well done. 8/10.

Day to day life showcasing funny moments between three high school girls and does it well.

Decent series with some nice world building, the forced/joked romance got stale. Invested enough for a potential 2nd season.

Once it went away from most of the weird, fetishy stuff in the earlier episodes, it became quite the endearing and wholesome show. Sure, it was still their in spurts, but not as in your face as they once were.

Cloverworks really picking themselves back up after some disasters recently, great little show with some of the best visuals you'll hope to see in a SOL. 8/10.

Hasn't aged well, that's for sure. Not all that interesting, art did not leave an impression.

It was alright, I guess I'm just not a huge fan of a style over substance sort of anime, especially when the gap is as big as it is in Akudama Drive. 7/10.

More Itou experimental garbage.

A sweet and wholesome childcare and gourmet anime with a hint of underlying sadness, a repetitive formula that somewhat gets a little tedious at times. Hyper active kid, but displays a kids personality pretty damn good for this medium.

A short anime for BL lovers to fawn and fantasize over. 90 seconds of nothing, except pretty boys drinking coffee in a cafe. Not for me.

Suffers from poor pacing, a longer two cour series would have been better IMO.

I can't take the short, sudden bleak scenes seriously, the cheesy one liners and the overly exaggerated emotional outburst from a lot of the characters. Speaking of characters, there are too many underdeveloped and almost forgotten. Art and music was nice though

Better than S1 for sure, more interactions between the whole cast, not just the siblings. Very funny.

I didn't enjoy this show all too much, very eccentric CGDCT anime, but far too repetitive and the nonsensical "fun" was anything but. The happiness theme was stupid and I was indifferent to most of the characters. Not the worst thing in the world, but pretty disappointing.

Yeah, it was sad, I shed a tear a couple of times, especially the final episode. After hearing about this anime being the saddest anime ever over the years, I am just a touch underwhelmed, guess that's what hype does. Something like "A Place Further Than The Universe" where I didn't know much about it going into it, was a lot more emotional for instance. They sure stretched out how far they could take this anime though, quite a bit of plot convenience thrown in there, things could have been handled much easier and quicker lol...

Late 90s short shoujo OVA, only so much you can do in 10 mins and it's the most basic shit. Title also makes no fucking sense.

Holds your hand throughout the series, mysteries are easily seen through and/or debunked/solved. Future scenarios that could have easily been avoided by characters conversing with one another. Unexplained phenomenon.

Took me by surprise, interesting concept, the mystery of why. Brilliant animation. Enjoyable characters.

Similar to season 1, but even better. Adds the emotional aspect to it.

Solid recap movie, told from the perspective of Nagisa and Karma, as they revisit the Classroom.

Decent shounen, a bit bland though.

An anime that makes you mull things over a couple of days after you're finished watching it. Kokoro, Hellscreen and No Longer Human were the best.

In true Shaft style, they've taken another absurdist work and brought it to life with their classic spice.

A common theme in Shaft related anime are the underlying issues or deeper meaning beneath the humor, and it never manages to feel pretentious.

You can feel that this is the case for some of the characters living down under the bridge, but it's rarely explored, at least in this season. They focus mostly on the wacky comedy and character dynamics between everyone. Nino is a pretty lame heroine unfortunately.

Think I enjoyed this season a bit more than the first. A lot more shoujo parody than what I remember lol

End of S2 is about half way through the manga.

I had tears from at least episode nine or ten onwards lol. Quite bittersweet and emotional throughout the final half of the season, but man, what a series. I think I enjoyed Season two slightly more than this season, but it peaked with the final few episodes.

Pretty bad animation (CGI especially). Story telling isn't any better and the pacing is all over the place. MC is a little edgy. The ending three episodes were alright.



Also a little bit of a rip off from other iconic Isekai series. Doesn't explain things enough. Character design is nice though

That was awesome, and really well directed. Nothing boring about this short series, nor is it hard to follow. A pretty damn good intro into the world of Arknights, sets up a potential 2nd season very well.

Pretty average OVA in the end, nothing world breaking, but good enough to warrant a watch of the sequel.

Granblue Fantasy lite vibes, solid animation. As unoriginal as you can get, still somewhat enjoyable. The adventure/story aspect is a total letdown.

Wasn't exactly bad, it just felt a bit empty and without passion. A quick cash grab.

Not too bad, 2nd half did feel a little weaker. Nice little character journey Arte goes on.

You can't go one experimental/abstract short series, without seeing a couple 10/10 reviews lol...

It was fine overall, nothing extraordinary, and definitely nothing deserving of top marks. 6/10.

Definitely not as great as Grand Blue, Prison School and the likes it gets compared to. The humor came more naturally in the other renowned series and the timing and execution was a lot better. Still very good though, 8/10.

Incredibly, the first thing I've seen of Masami Yuuki.

Pretty bog standard ecchi series with another copy/paste Male MC. Him being the Father of a ten year old whilst still looking 13 himself was so off putting lol... Had wholesome moments in an otherwise strange plot, but lacked excitement and a lot of development in the story. 6/10.
