Artiswitch

There is a rumor doing the rounds in Harajuku: somewhere in the back streets of Ura-Harajuku, a witch and her mysterious shop serve those whose wishes have gone unheard, giving them an opportunity to unlock their hearts' greatest desires.

Believing this to be an ideal arrangement, the proud apprentice witch Nina strives to fulfill her customers' wishes while her power and influence grow accordingly. However, not all wishes are meant to come true—and not all of them lead to a happy ending. As Nina is compelled to peer deeper into the human psyche, she soon discovers the dark side of a witch's obligations, and her ambitions begin to clash with her wish to comfort the entire world.

I've watched this twice already and have recommended this to two different people. So yes, I recommend this to you reading this!

I'll be rating different aspects of the anime, starting with the animation style, art and atmosphere:
Artiswitch is one of the most unique anime I've ever seen. And that is due to the art, animation style and atmosphere. Watching those 6 episodes was the first time I've appreciated 3D animation. Despite it, the anime still felt hand made, which might be due to its art. It might be best described by the adjectives colorful, striking, artsy and cute-ish.
One of the best things created by ... the art is the easily fast switching atmosphere. At first, you could feel at ease, the next confused and later everything could feel gloomy and scary. Perfectly fitting the story.

Starting with an interesting concept of combining shop-keeping combined with magic and the supernatural, the story gets progressively more hooking and deep/ dark with the climax advancing. Despite its short length, the plot is still round, and you will still connect with all the different characters, understanding their problems and emotions. Maybe even relating.

Speaking of the cast, they put a lot of effort in designing them. A lot of them get a great amount of outfits, each co-aligning with their problems/ wishes or just matching the current theme.
With the shop's theme, all characters undergo a change important to the plot. So does Nina the MC. As you get to the finale, due to Nina's development, questions from the beginning gets answered, which makes the anime feel round as a whole.

This effect is also accomplished by the sound design and music, each just as special as the one before.

Now adding some personal information:
This anime has impacted me plenty, in a healthy way. I still think about it often and believe many more could enjoy this piece, which is why I am reviewing this today and will continue to recommend it.

Artiswitch is one of the most unique animes I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

-Story 10/10-
The plot is quite straight-forward, a witch grants people's wishes, ultimately giving them a chance to shine in life and unlock their deepest secrets

-Art/Animation 10/10-
The art and animation was very unique, from time to time time I could tell the animation was done in a 3D program whereas other times it seemed like the animation was drawn in 2D.

Character designs were so pleasant and I loved the artistic choices

... -Sound 10/10-
I loved the voice acting and the songs, everything had so much emotion to it

-Characters 10/10-
Each and every character was different and catered to different people, maybe someone related to one character or multiple or maybe someone didn't relate to anyone at all. Regardless of relatability, all of the characters are unique

-Personal enjoyment 10/10-
I really enjoyed watching this anime since I needed something quick to get me back to watching more anime.

-Overall 10/10-
I think everyone should watch at least one episode of the masterpiece

Mixed Feelings

Preliminary (5/6 eps)

Though it was clear by the end of the second episode that the following episodes' themes were going to get progressively darker and more complex, I didn't think it would take as dark of a turn as it eventually did. The esoteric and artsy nature of the show's artistic direction is sure to not sit well with many viewers, so while I wouldn't recommend this to everybody, I'd ask anyone who isn't turned off completely by the first episode to give the whole 6 episodes a go as shit escalates more quickly than you'd expect.

The 3D animation is neither offensive nor remarkable. I think it's ... alright and I got used to it pretty quickly. The soundtrack is very fitting and pretty unique, though I wouldn't call any of them bangers. A nice change of pace.
