Eiken: Eikenbu yori Ai wo Komete

At my job as a cashier I sometimes use the downtime to watch the junkies and alcoholics that hang outside the church across the street, and sometimes I ponder how the manage to gather the money to fund their frequent trip to my store to buy cigarettes and alcohol only to get distracted by a neurotic woman that wants to buy a pregnancy test. But anyway, the other times I use to reflect opon the finest entertainment I've consumed over the years of staring at a computer screen. Needless to say one stands head and shoulders over the rest.

With a colorful cast of ... characters who's names I almost remember and a plot that rivals the best that cinema has to offer ( yes, even Rats: Nights of Terror ) it's not hard to see that Eiken is a anime that defined a generation.

Uninformed detractors might say something along the lines of "If you want a picture of Eiken, imagine a pair of breasts smacking into a human face, forever." which would be unfair considering the deep emotional, philosophical and political issues that Eiken touches on such as love, the role of women in society, body image, cross dressing and subtle imagery that could take weeks or maybe even months for your mind to digest properly.

While many remember this terrific series for it's truly magnificent artwork and not to mention the realistic yet subtly sensual imagery I personally feel that the story is what makes Eiken such a masterpiece. Our main character Densuke is a complex man in a relatable situation struggling to prove his love to a woman suffering from chronic back pains because of her tragically over sized breasts and to prove himself as something other than your run-of-the-mill playboy he joins their secret club and enter a contest. ( I'm particularly fond of the famous yogurt slide scene as I'm sure most viewers are, I will go into this more deeply later ) The stakes are high, my pulse got high, the writer may or may not have been high and it all adds up to a truly artistic spectacle unlike anything else seen in anime, cinema or dadaist art.

Despite being a progressive piece of art, Eiken still follows some standard narrative conventions, Densuke has a rival to face in the competition. Our antagonist is thrown into the mix for a love triangle of sorts, the likes that many novels have probably taken inspiration from. Being a very forward thinking series I won't spoil the ending, it'll leave you shocked, surprised and possibly even a bit aroused.

I'll now touch opon my favorite scene in Eiken, the yogurt slide. Because it's filled to the brim and beyond with social commentary about human nature and the likes. To win the yogurt slide the team must be touching each other or lose the game. Paralleling the hardships of life in a way that is both unique and touching ( no pun intended ). When we as a species lose our connection with each other we fragment and eventually start fighting and as such we lose the game of life. Fighting over things like oil, land and different beliefs. Eiken sees that the only way to win the game of life is to stick together through the ups and downs. Then we can all emerge victorious and finally evolve to the next level as human beings. This is the message I took most to heart and try to live by.

It's a shame that in anime and cinema alike women have been mainly shown as nothing but pinups and sex objects. But where Eiken has earned most of its rightly gained acclaim is its sensitive portrayal of women both in the writing and the artistic department, shunning the exploitative industry standard. In fact, the art is probably what most viewers will remember. Vividly animated and beautifully drawn in a way that would make Hayao Miyazaki positively green with envy. It draws the viewer in and never lets go, much in the same way a magnificent painting would. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in Eiken's case I think ten thousand is a more realistic estimate.

I simply can't recommend Eiken enough. So go pick up a copy of it, even the dub is fantastic which many anime fans will say is quite a rarity. Our time here on Earth is short and it should be spent watching the finest in entertainment. Thankfully I'll be here to point them out.

This is the worst anime I have ever seen. I don't mind some fan service and panty shots, but come on. The 6th grader has huge boobs!! And seriously what females boobs bounce around like that. You would tip over all the time and have horrible back pain. This one is just taking it way to far and it's not even worth watching for a laugh.

When I saw the first episode, i was dying to write a review on it, but I knew it wasn't fair to write a review after just watching the first episode, so I forced myself to watch the second episode.

Story. 1.

How many times have you heard this story? Some nerd transfers into a new school, he's a loser and doesn't stand out, but somehow he gets surrounded by beautiful women who all want to have sex with him. Too many times to count. The story is overdone, and needs to stop.

Art.

If you look past the girls' overly large breasts, the art ... is...meh. It's your typical, neon colored hair, big eyed anime, but then the breasts...oh dear God. Yes, I don't mind having a character with big breasts in an anime, but there's a limit!

Sound. 5.

The opening song is cute, but nothing special. The voice acting is okay I guess, but my question is, what woman would want to voice act for this piece of crap?

Character. 1.

The characters are stale, and boring. The characters are only there to flash their panties or get caught into sexual situations. In my opinion, the characters are the most important part of a series, but unfortunately, that's where this story failed.

How they portray women. 1.

This series almost makes me ashamed to be a woman. All they do is trip, get covered in (plain) yogurt, and eat bananas in a very sexual way. I know the series was directed towards men, but come on! Not all men are this low!

Fanservice .1.

I don't mind fanservice, but this is crossing the line. One thing a lot of animes do with fanservice is that it's noticable, but it's not over the top. Eiken's fanservice is in your face, and it never ends. It never ends.

Overall, I hate this series. But, if you scrape the crap that covers this series, you do get a cure love story...a very cliche love story. I do not recomend this series to anyone.

OK, I like fan-service and ecchi as much as the next straight male, but Eiken just goes too far with it. I don't think I've seen something that is worse than this for being distasteful. I mean come on, a 6th grader with EE cups??? Then there is the unexplained Eiken club that our hero is forced to join as the series started. He is basically every weak male bishojo game character ever imagined rolled into one. And just like in bishojo games, at the end, he gets the girl of his dreams. But all is not bad, the characters all look unique, which is ... to be expected from a JC Staff produced series. At least the massive mounds of flesh on the characters move around realistically. If you like boobie stories that make no sense, you'll most likely like Eiken. Just a note of warning, this is one I don’t think that I would let anyone under 18 watch because of the considerable borderline hentai content.

Note: This anime may not be for everyone. This is possibility the most ecchi anime I have ever seen, and will ever see.

Story (1/10) - There really is no story. This is a rather short OVA, being only two episodes, but everything that happens in the series really is just setting you up for more fan service and ecchi-ness, which is really all this is. If you are looking for a great romance comedy, go elsewhere. This anime was handmade for heterosexual males ages 13-21, and it shows. The story is really a just excuse to show seriously over sized tits (which is really ... funny).

Art (7/10) - The art is actually pretty good. All of the girls are drawn rather nicely and sexy, and the backgrounds are detailed enough for you to see what is going on but not be overloaded, and distract you from the real purpose of this show - titty. Yeah, If you don't like tits, don't even bother watching this anime. The female characters are insanely hot, and have great bodies. This is what pumped it up to a seven out of ten, otherwise it would be probably a four.

Sound (8/10) - Average sound. Not to great, not to bad. Nothing to really say here. The dialog in some parts is so funny that it will bring you to tears though.

Characters (5/10) - Again, the characters have really no depth and are just there to flaunt their chests, which there is really nothing wrong with, it just might not be for everybody. You really don't get to know the characters or anything, but then again this series is only 2 episodes.

Enjoyment (10/10) - Oh god. I love this series despite how people often cite it as the worst anime ever made. I massively enjoyed this ecchi-fest of boobs. I would say every open-minded straight male would like this series a whole bunch. Girls - don't even try to watch this one, you will be disgusted. I have watched this series twice, and I can say it has some pretty good rewatch value, because it is pretty easy to masturba-- err.... Marathon this series!

Overall (7/10) - Good series, pulls off what it needs to and is mercifully short. If you are bored, watch it.

Eiken is a show which has the unfortunate distinction of being one of the lowest-rated anime on MyAnimeList. As of this writing, there are 3,381 anime which have been given a rating on this site, and Eiken is ranked #3,367. Why is this two-episode OVA so reviled across the animeverse? The answer is pretty obvious once you watch the show, but I still feel that many of the people who dismiss Eiken are either not the intended audience or perhaps don't understand the over-the-top nature of the show is supposed to be comedy unto itself.

The premise of Eiken is very simple. It's an ecchi comedy ... centered around big boobs. Check that: gigantic, Hindenburg-sized boobs. Every spare second of Eiken is fan-service, and in order to cram in as much big boob fan-service as possible, we have to chuck out things like character development and a logical plot and anything that doesn't look like boobs.

One of the main complaints about the show is, "The boobs are too big. They aren't sexy. They are cartoonish." I understand where these people are coming from. I wouldn't want my girlfriend to have breasts as big as the ones in this show either. However, the size of the breasts are absolutely essential to the slapstick comedy that makes Eiken such an amusing show. If the Eiken girls had normal, appropriately sized breasts, the show would have been lifeless and the comedy dull.

At its heart, Eiken finds a very clever way to mix fan-service with comedy. One of the female characters introduces herself to the male protagonist several times by jumping crotch-first into his face, as if she were Wiley Coyote and she just ran into a telephone pole. At the annual sports festival, one of the first events is a water slide filled with plain yogurt. So as our hero and his female club members ride down the slide, they all get covered in squirts of white goop, the visual image I'm sure you could compare to your favorite hentai. Everywhere on the school's campus just happen to be banana peels which rocket men helplessly into the chests of women. Why do they use yogurt? Where do the banana peels come from? There is no logical answer, nor does the show attempt to give one. That is why the show is so absurd and thus enjoyable.

One thing that has to be recognized about Eiken is that the animation is pretty good, especially with the breasts. I can think of a hundred shows I've seen with production values worse than Eiken, hentai and non-sexual shows alike. Without breasts and underwear and yogurt flying everywhere thanks to the solid animation, the show would not have been nearly as zany or comedic.

The show is not for everyone. If you are offended by non-stop fan-service, you'll hate this show. If you can't get over the beach ball-sized breasts to see the comedy aspects, you'll hate this show. If you are disturbed by the fact that the stupid little girl with ponytails has breasts larger than the rest of her body, that's probably understandable, but she's still funny.

Eiken is a very shallow show. It has a story, but it's entirely unimportant. It's extremely low-brow. I can't call it a masterpiece in the slightest bit. However, it's not trying to be a good plot. It's not trying to please everyone. It is comedy for perverts. Whether that encourages you or discourages you from seeing the show entirely depends on what kind of person you are.

It's pure ecchi and it's all about unrealistically large bOObs; all...err, both episodes. You can judge this book...err, series by it's cover. It's actually enjoyable for what it is though if you're looking for something that does not take itself seriously...well look at the cover.

If you plan to watch this I recommend...

- Not watching this with your parents.

- Not bringing this in to school for show and tell.

- Not showing this to your girlfriend if you don't want to go back to being single.

... - Not mentioning having seen this during job interviews.

These poor poor girls with large breasts… They are just like little sticks with two huge beach balls that should be pulling them down to the ground. What is the point of this show? It’s just there to see breasts and panties of girls who have probably had plastic surgery to enlarge their breasts. Seriously, its as though they are in the same competition as Maxi Mounds and Sheyla Hershey. (Haven't heard of them? They are in compaction for Genius Book of World Records for the biggest artificially made breasts. Just the images make me scared.) This should really have been a hentai instead of ... just an Ecchi. It’s has little to no plot and what it does gets lost in the sea of breasts. Alrgiht…. Lets get down to the technical side of this stupid anime… unfortunately, you may be as disgusted at I was.

Every character is pretty much a stereotype although one thing seems to keep the girls all together… that is, their breasts. Densuke is a normal main character in a lot of harems, rather stupid and normal… yes, throughout this entire thing, there is one normal character. He has nothing really going for him though all the girls love him and want to be around him. The only other male character we could talk about is Shima and he is a typical rival of Densuke for Chiharu’s heart. He’s a smart ass and thinks he’s better then everyone else.

Now on to the stupid females… Chiharu is the shy soft-spoken girl who is clumsy and rather Moe. She has two melons on her chest and seems to always get into rather strange predicaments with them. She sadly has to wear bras that are two small which make her pop out of them a lot… (Sorry… I just threw up a little.) Kirika is a really tall G-cup breasted girl. She is the one that gives Densuke a hard time by pushing his head into her breasts or her butt and puts a lot of phallic food into her mouth. Those that do not have a dictionary, it means something shaped like an erect penis. She also eats said food in a rather seductive manner (It’s not seductive… its just plain stupid looking). So… um… next is Komoe and I’m going to stop after her because I don’t think I can actually show my disgust anymore or even hold in my lunch. She is a pink-haired 6th grader with boobies the size larger then Chiharu… and now we can stop talking about the characters because we have gone way out of my comfort zone.

The artwork suffers greatly on the proportion side of things, and everything is made to try to get an arousal out of someone. There are a lot of things that are made to look like something rather perverted. The town they live in seems to look like a large breast with a very hard nipple; Raman is made to look like cum, and just a lot of stupid things that can get lost in ones head. All of the shows humor revolves around many suggestive images like girls swimming in a swimming pool full of yogurt… and there goes the rest of my lunch.

The voices are so bad, I cringed. No one can figure out how to actually talk well or pronounce the names at all. The Music…. Was there really any music? I didn’t figure out if there was or not and if there was, it was much to low to hear.

All in all, don’t ever make me watch it again!

Fan-service and anime go hand in hand. Although it seems that the medium keeps on pushing the border between hentai and TV anime more and more, there was one studio that jumped the damn shark back in 2003 and still remains one of the most terrifying pieces of media I have ever consumed. That honour goes to a show known as Eiken.

This OVA is all about women with huge tits. HUGE TITS! So big that they're bigger than their own head and also seem to be made out of goddamn helium since the wind itself is capable of actually making them move and every hand ... wave or movement results in about fifty-thousand boob bounces followed by the axis of the Earth shifting closer to the Sun until our sweet demise from all these crappy anime...

Obviously, the inanely large breasts and extreme fixation on fan-service are the show's main aim of fame. I understand, that for some people, boobs this insanely large may come across as attractive or arousing but to me these were always terrifying and came across as such a pathetic way of gaining attention that the show loses all credibility. I like boobs as much as the next guy but when they're this big and shoved in my face this often it feels grotesque and excessive while also suggesting that the show is unable to stand on its own two feet. Which it can't.

Narratively speaking, the show is a simple high school comedy in which some boring as hell main protagonist, who wants to confess his love to some big titted girl, is forced into joining a club known as the 'Eiken Club' and crazy shenanigans ensue in which the girls are forced to remove as much clothing as possible and this show goes the extra mile to expose as many tits and to have as much pandering as humanly possible. Every shot is stuffed with as many tits and asses as possible and every joke and situation is focused on some kind of sexual activity or innuendo. Isn't it funny how a banana is a metaphor for a dick and the main girl keeps sucking on one? How about repeating this joke every five seconds! The show's attempt at comedy is all about how many tits can be shoved in our faces which is fine if you're watching this garbage for such a superficial reason, but it comes across as shitty pandering and it's apparent that nothing else in the show is strong enough to stand by itself. The characters have no personality and are instead a pair of tits on legs. They're generic in terms of design too and their actions half the time makes no sense and the loli tit girl will forever give me nightmares for as long as I live.

The show dives into a strange and bizarre competition about half-way through the first episode in which all of the activities and events focus on some strange fetish. This could have provided some dumb fun but I was so distracted by the insane fan-service that it became off-putting. Not only that, I just generally found everything to be so boring and insulting to sit through. The main protagonist's involvement in the show is as simple as they come and it doesn't interest the audience in the slightest. Even if it did, the excessive fan-service would be distracting enough already and this show's attempt at sexualisation is so bad that I never want to see a pair of breasts for as long as I live. The show is vapid, disgusting and boring. It has nothing. It's pathetic and one of the worst anime ever made. If you really want to watch a woman with large tits, watch a hentai. You'll get much more out of it.

So...my morbid curiosity just slapped me in the face big time. After seeing all the overwhelming negative reviews for this I decided to check it out. It's only 2 episodes, so why not?

OH DEAR GOD I will forever regret this decision. I don't think I've ever seen something scrape the absolute hell out of the bottom of the shit barrel like Eiken does.

It's about a loser guy that gets taken in a school club full of girls that all want a piece of him. It's your typical unoriginal harem plot.

I don't expect much in terms of story for a 2 episode OVA. This anime ... has many other...bigger...problems.

Apart from the excessively big tits that are on screen bouncing for no reason 90% of the time, it's nothing special.

Sound: 3/10
Typical cutesy voice acting from a good chunk of the characters, just with annoying bouncing sound effects and random sucking noises piled on top. I didn't watch the English dub, but heard it was terrible.

Why the hell anyone would want to dub this show is beyond me.

This is easily the absolute worst anime I've ever seen, and this is coming from a guy that likes ecchi and hentai. Hell, even most hentai that I've seen did not stoop to this level of absurdity.

Even if it's not supposed to be taken seriously as some people claim, it still is not enjoyable - At. All. If you want an example of parody done right, watch Excel Saga, Panty and Stocking, or Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. That single moment in episode 3 where they made fun of Dragon Ball Z is better than the entirety of Eiken.

So here I am, writing my first review ever (gee, you've probably never seen that excuse before, have you?). I am writing this review since it seems that most of the people writing a review for this anime do not belong to the "intended group of people" that should watch this. That means the anime will receive a low score/rating, and this gem will fall into darkness...

Story: 1/10

Mind you, this is a 2-episode anime. Do you really expect a great plot? No, you don't. The anime is not supposed to have a "great plot", since it's supposed to be all about the (ecchi) humor. For ... me, this was great. I was looking for some "mindless fun" and this anime delivers that perfectly.

If you are looking for an anime with a great plot/awesome story, go elsewhere. Period.

The art wasn't bad. Sure, some people will complain about the huge size of the jugs of the women, but that is part of the fun. Some people will obviously be appalled by this, and others will not. I am in the latter group. Seeing those jugs fly, smacking the main character around - it's all fun, and I could watch that for hours. Additionally, we get to see panties everywhere, and that is a plus in my book. One can never get enough panties.

Yep. I enjoyed this anime pretty much from the start of the first episode, till the end of the last. Heck, sometimes I had to pause the episode to "get the laughter out of my system." It is a comedy, and it is funny. Well, funny for simple people like me, at least.

Basically, this is an anime for perverts (like me). Unless you like lots of panty-shots, torn clothes and huge boobs, leave it alone. Let us perverts have our gem.

This is an anime for lovers of HUGE BOOBS that just want to turn off their brain and enjoy some senless ecchi scenes.

On the surface, Eiken appears to be some hideous monstrosity of anime sexualization gone overboard. And it is, just not in the way that you expect.

When you first watch this, you will see a poorly written anime, with poor animation and poorly thought out character with poor voice acting who are drawn with disgustingly large breasts. I certainly did. But then, if you think about it, you realize that this OVA a satire and criticism taken to the extreme.

Eiken criticizes the anime industry's over-sexualization of female characters, particularly in the chest region, the sexualization of younger characters, and how some series will have a lazily-written, ... senseless story and bad characters, and try to bury these flaws under layers of fan-service. Eiken addresses these problems in arguably the best (or worst) way possible; by taking these ideas and ramping it up to the extreme, before cramming it all into two half-hour episodes.

The story and characters (both design and personality) are purposefully bad, so much so that it can distract you from the message they are trying to convey.
Unfortunately, this confusion is only worsened by terrible voice-acting (I watched one of the episodes in English, and it is vomit-inducing) and some strange things that happen for reasons that I still cannot imagine (i.e; random guy in a bear costume).

Overall, beneath the surface, Eiken is far more than some cheap piece of fanservice thought up by weirdos (who were probably on crack, given the final product). Unfortunately its critical message is too easily lost under it over-the-top approach, which WILL undoubtedly put many people off.

Would I recommend Eiken? If you're willing to sit through a very unpleasant experience to see what would be one of the most in-your-face hyperboles, and are willing to forgive, or accept the disgusting portrayal of women, then yes, I do recommend it. If, however, you want to watch an anime made with any attempt ar quality, then I suggest not touching Eiken with a ten-foot pole.

This anime is seriously so terrible that I was ashamed to put this on my list, but it's the only way I could write a review on this abomination.

I don't think that I've once seen anything so bad as this, I was watching this while eating lunch one day and I actually lost my appetite. I'm all for subtle fan service (as subtle as it gets in anime at any rate) but this goes far above and beyond anything within reason. Not only does this story start out at what seems to be a random point in the middle of a story, but it has ... no direction and no purpose at all.

Eiken is just a horrible set up with scene after scene showing pointless quasi-hentai images and I'm ashamed that this anime is supposed to be focused towards men.

Take any typical harem anime with ecchi and some romance.
Strip almost everything related to its story and characters.
Maximize its ecchi especially the Gainaxing and the number of sexual innuendos. Apply Sigmund Freud's theories related to psychosexuality
Condense its length. Simplify it until ANYONE from the general public can understand it.

This is an alternative to Hentai (anime porn) called Eiken. It fails as an adaptation but somewhat succeeds as a standalone for humor only. The main reason for the given rating is that it tried to have a story instead of almost completely focusing on its supposed comedic parody of the three genres. Its length is ... not enough to have a conventional story and character but has enough for comedy.

There are numerous plot holes regarding the behavior of its characters, setting, and the story itself. Typical male harem lead suddenly gains a one dimensional harem and has a relationship with the female lead. Suddenly, every major character takes interest in the male lead for unknown reasons despite his generic and absence of redeemable qualities.

As for the story, it can be simplified as this:
Boy meets Girl -> They gradually get closer -> Their relationship is challenged for whatever reason -> Main lead gets emotional support -> Main lead goes to the final showdown -> Main lead wins and their relationship is implied to be fixed. Happily Ever After!

The only plausible explanation for everything is simply the main appeal of this title: fan service especially the BREASTS of its female characters. It is completely maximized in both episodes. Gainaxing is an understatement so I'll replace it with "Eikening," ultimate form of fanservice that is not softcore hentai. Every Gainax Bounce could start a small short earthquake because of breast size or it could hurt your heart because it is overdone.
It is potentially hilarious but deadly to the weak-hearted or haters of fan service.

The humor is done blatantly through disproportionate bodies, weird clothing, and unusual positions. It is a hit-or-miss, depending on your tolerance to perversion, exaggerated features, lack of story, and originality. The misunderstandings and ecchi scenes are entertaining for its length.
What limits the enjoyment are is Plot Induced Stupidity and generic plot.

Art is about average. Characters have average designs but some features are exaggerated (BREASTS). Conventional sizes don't apply here.
"Eikening" is done well. Backgrounds are mediocre but used welll. Use of frames, timing, and movements are fair.

Sound is average. The opening and ending theme songs fit the lighthearted aspects of the show but forgettable. Voice acting is fine and fits the personalities of all of its characters. BGM and sound effects fit the given situations but don't stand out.

It might not be memorable anymore with the increasing number of ecchi titles but it is a good try to be different.

Overall, nice try anime industry but typical hentai stories have a passable story and cast compared this.
Recommended only for ecchi lovers.

I'm just going to be up front: I really like this anime. Eiken is one of those shows that is great to watch if you like an anime that is more focused on character quirks than the story. This is exactly what Eiken does within the hour of which it lasts, and it has totally worked for me.

The story of the show is its weak point as it just moves things along the track of funny ecchi moment after another. Without getting into spoiler territory, it's one of those stories that follows a boy that transfers into a new school and finds himself being put ... into certain comedic situations against his will. But again, it's a short anime so the clishe plot kindly doesn't overstay its welcome.

As I've said earlier, I am a fan of just silly humor be it sexual or not, and Eiken has a satisfying amount of gags and character personalities that kept me entertained and engaged. Yes, I'm aware that most of the girls are over endowed, I'm not saying it's a turn-on, but there were a few moments where I just found the big boob jokes to be kinda funny. But yes, though I was tickled by the humor, the jokes tend to repeat as the story goes on, but I was still amused after the first time a joke was used.


Eiken is a short ride that doesn't last longer than it should. It's not a show for those looking for something that's more serious and has women with more realistic proportions. If you want something that's ridiculous by design and to just laugh a little for just an hour, give Eiken a shot because it doesn't disappoint.

At my job as a cashier I sometimes use the downtime to watch the junkies and alcoholics that hang outside the church across the street, and sometimes I ponder how the manage to gather the money to fund their frequent trip to my store to buy cigarettes and alcohol only to get distracted by a neurotic woman that wants to buy a pregnancy test. But anyway, the other times I use to reflect opon the finest entertainment I've consumed over the years of staring at a computer screen. Needless to say one stands head and shoulders over the rest.

With a colorful cast of ... characters who's names I almost remember and a plot that rivals the best that cinema has to offer ( yes, even Rats: Nights of Terror ) it's not hard to see that Eiken is a anime that defined a generation.

Uninformed detractors might say something along the lines of "If you want a picture of Eiken, imagine a pair of breasts smacking into a human face, forever." which would be unfair considering the deep emotional, philosophical and political issues that Eiken touches on such as love, the role of women in society, body image, cross dressing and subtle imagery that could take weeks or maybe even months for your mind to digest properly.

While many remember this terrific series for it's truly magnificent artwork and not to mention the realistic yet subtly sensual imagery I personally feel that the story is what makes Eiken such a masterpiece. Our main character Densuke is a complex man in a relatable situation struggling to prove his love to a woman suffering from chronic back pains because of her tragically over sized breasts and to prove himself as something other than your run-of-the-mill playboy he joins their secret club and enter a contest. ( I'm particularly fond of the famous yogurt slide scene as I'm sure most viewers are, I will go into this more deeply later ) The stakes are high, my pulse got high, the writer may or may not have been high and it all adds up to a truly artistic spectacle unlike anything else seen in anime, cinema or dadaist art.

Despite being a progressive piece of art, Eiken still follows some standard narrative conventions, Densuke has a rival to face in the competition. Our antagonist is thrown into the mix for a love triangle of sorts, the likes that many novels have probably taken inspiration from. Being a very forward thinking series I won't spoil the ending, it'll leave you shocked, surprised and possibly even a bit aroused.

I'll now touch opon my favorite scene in Eiken, the yogurt slide. Because it's filled to the brim and beyond with social commentary about human nature and the likes. To win the yogurt slide the team must be touching each other or lose the game. Paralleling the hardships of life in a way that is both unique and touching ( no pun intended ). When we as a species lose our connection with each other we fragment and eventually start fighting and as such we lose the game of life. Fighting over things like oil, land and different beliefs. Eiken sees that the only way to win the game of life is to stick together through the ups and downs. Then we can all emerge victorious and finally evolve to the next level as human beings. This is the message I took most to heart and try to live by.

It's a shame that in anime and cinema alike women have been mainly shown as nothing but pinups and sex objects. But where Eiken has earned most of its rightly gained acclaim is its sensitive portrayal of women both in the writing and the artistic department, shunning the exploitative industry standard. In fact, the art is probably what most viewers will remember. Vividly animated and beautifully drawn in a way that would make Hayao Miyazaki positively green with envy. It draws the viewer in and never lets go, much in the same way a magnificent painting would. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in Eiken's case I think ten thousand is a more realistic estimate.

I simply can't recommend Eiken enough. So go pick up a copy of it, even the dub is fantastic which many anime fans will say is quite a rarity. Our time here on Earth is short and it should be spent watching the finest in entertainment. Thankfully I'll be here to point them out.

Yeah I can't lie it slapped so hard my cock felt it. I too wouldn't give up shinonome if she had breasts like those. My blind grandmother walked in on me watching this and was thrown off a building by ISIS. Mashallah. Wouldn't actually recommend, Causes meningitis and Multiple Sclerosis due to excessive cunny exposure. This also cured my ADHD by providing such dopamine overload that I am now becoming mifune in real life. I joined my uni's version of the Eiken club and was sued for sexual misdemeanors by all my lecturers and students. I have now started dealing heroine on the side to ... fund my legal fees.

Are YOU looking for the best anime mankind has ever come up with? Well, look no further, because there it is; Eiken is everything you've ever wished for crammed in two episodes of absolute wonder. A true jewel, a rare find in the Japanese entertainment industry. The Holy Grail of anime, if you will.

The story is unlike any other. It left me breathless; the plot twists and cliffhangers left me craving more. The panty shots... The yoghurt slide... Just thinking about them, I can feel my heart rate increasing. This amazing story is only made better by the characters; Such complex personalities and designs, ... such creativity! I can almost remember what they looked like, two months after watching! What can I say about the voice acting? It's simple; Even Miyano Mamoru would be ashamed of his work if he were to watch Eiken. The abilities of one-hit-wonder Oshiro Miwa will be worshipped for decades to come.

This was my first review, it's really short but I'm kinda running out of adjectives to describe this legendary anime as well as its diverse and unforgettable cast. Still too long for you? Here's a 2 word TL;DR:

This anime was highly recommended to me by a friend, and i thought (as a hentai) i should watch this. i mean what can possibly be better then a school named boob academy? I drooled over big hentai boobs, but you know what i got? god damn overfatly drawn boobs. yeah the boobs are big alright,but the problem is that the drawings are unportioned overall just looks like a big ball of fat.

As for the story, it is unexplained and just unnecessary for this anime. there really isnt more story to it than you are introduced to at the beginning. The story is really just ... taken from a crappy eroge.

This anime really is just a big ball of ecchi humor. you cant really expect anything but dramatic ecchi scenes. but i have too hand it too them, that they provided me with damn good ecchi scenes.
