Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan: Ane Douhan no Isekai Seikatsu Hajimemashita

Remember the STRONC Mother Isekai, yes that one with the weak hero and a STRONC Mother, so much so, that the hero himself questioned whether he is a hero after all. Now, imagine instead of your overkill wielding, enemy bashing, happy beam emanating Okasan, it is your all things -ing Oneesan. Yes, that's the show.

Plot: Brother of Truck Kun, Minivan Kun is at it again, but, a very big but, this isn't reincarnation. Same with the sister, who well, is so down bad about her brother, she quite literally headbangs herself to the Isekai, and she is OP, while her brother is a ... pipsqueak. There, that's the anime, or rather parody of an anime. Yes, this is a parody. Please don't cite Poe's law here, to prove how smart and educated you are.

Characters: Imagine King from One Punch Man but a middle school student in a fantasy Isekai, that's the brother. Now imagine a cross between Albedo and Akeno, yes, exactly, that's the sister. Then you have your average cast of Isekai characters, and Kilmaria, who reminds me of a Scottish club called Kilmarnock, and is like if Tanya from Youjo Senki had the body of Mitsuri.

Animation: What is it with Isekais this season, most of the them look soooo good. This is a trash Anime, it should never be as gorgeously animated as it is. Just watch the first five minutes of Episode 1, and see for yourself.

A very special mention to the ending theme, that is one of the most aesthetic endings of the season. Well done studio Gekkou

Music: Don't expect much from this, it does it's job, that's all.

But, again, a special mention to the songs used in both Opening and Ending themes. Quite catchy and enjoyable.

Voice acting: If anything, this is solo carried by the amount of thirst put in by Haruka Shirashi for the Onesan. Everything else is just extra at this point.

Enjoyment: This is trash, no question about it, but enjoyable trash. If anything, the animation by itself is enough for this to be considered.

I have no shame in saying that One Turn neesan was my favourite anime of the season. Degenerate incest bait, fan service, hot waifus, fun and plenty of mindless entertainment. My ideal combination. It’s not for everyone, but it had everything I personally need to enjoy an anime and I will really miss this show.

Right off the bat I’ll let you know that if you’re one of those people who can’t enjoy an anime unless it’s well written or a good story, this ain’t for you. This is a mindless and degenerate viewing experience that has little in the way of a cohesive story. The ... main appeal of this show is the incest bait dynamic between the MC and his extremely hot sister, and the fact that he’s so weak. So if you’re turned off by incest stuff like that, this is also not for you. The gag of Asahi being carried in the new world by his older sister was funny for me. I like fantasy shows that switch up the formula a bit and give us weak main characters. Gets old seeing a guy just dominate a world, but seeing a hot older onee-san do it and help her brother get credit? Sign me up.

Loved all the characters in the show, but Kilmaria ended up being my favourite. I think she had just the right balance of fan-service with being a genuinely cool character. Every episode that she was in was a 10/10 and her focused episodes are my faves of the show. Her seiyuu is also great and does a good job of conveying her personality. Seeing her friendship with Maya develop out of their initial rivalry was really fun. Loved their chemistry, as well as her chemistry with Asahi. She actually was probably the best written character in the story.

Animation is surprisingly good in this one. For a show that’s essentially a conduit for fan-service, you would not expect to have the type of sakuga that we got in some of these fights. Kilmaria vs Maya comes to mind as one that legit blew me away, because all of a sudden you’re going from a silly overly dramatic scene to a great fight with solid choreography. There’s several fights that were pleasant surprises and worth a rewatch.

The ED is without a doubt the best ED of the season as well. Has some of the best visuals I’ve seen in a recent ED, and hints at a potentially darker story about how Maya and Asahi ended up in this new world. Even if the anime doesn’t end up being for you, everyone should watch that OP. It’s a bop. Loved the character designs and overall art style as well.



One Turn Neesan is not for everyone. It’s not going to break the mould or reinvent the wheel, but it’s fun. That’s all that matters for me.

One Turn Neesan gets a very easy 10/10.

It's better than you thought

At first I also expect the most generic isekai plot with the over protective sister type from the name and sypnosis. But while yea most of it is still the generic plot, it's better and more wholesome than expected

First of all the isekai gimmick of course is unique, but unlike most other unique gimmick, this one does live up the gimmick and follow through and make the gimmick actually useful to the story.

Now for the sister part, it's still a bit weird and play in to the "weird" stuff, but there are still some moment that's very wholesome too.

The quality thought ... is VERY GOOD for its genre. The art quality is very good for a new studio, and the OST are very much good, fit in, and help with the story.

Overall, it's good for a trashy isekai of the season. It's a very good "trash" isekai that's consistently fun and enjoyable turn brain off anime.

Anyone ever watch a show specifically for one character? Everyone has their own reason for watching something, no matter how odd or specific, no matter how the thing they decide to watch looks like it’ll turn out. Sometimes they just like the vibe and wanna experience that all the way. Sometimes they just really like a song or one of their favorite artists is doing the OP or ED. Sometimes clips have convinced you that a show has baller fights, or in the case of this show, clips have demonstrated one character who sells the anime alone.

It’s not the sister. In fact, let’s get this ... out of the way now, the titular one-hit-kill sister, Maya, is gonna be a make or break aspect of the show, as other aspects and faults will often be supported or hindered by the experience of watching a brocon constantly smother and even sexually harass her little brother. That’s certainly a fetish some people are down for, but perhaps the main reason this show is even worse-received than its contemporaries this season (many of which seem significantly more poorly-produced and include fucking Smartphone S2) is the fact that Maya is insufferable most of the time. They can range from kind of annoying to disturbing and even manipulative, though of course that means we’re supposed to find it gut-busting (or even nut-busting).

There are some decent bonding moments and snippets of conflict between her and actual MC Asahi. The weakling’s desire for independence and his need to grow stronger both for his own sense of self-improvement and his own sake given the dangerous world is combined with how adventurers caught falsifying their rank are dealt with, is an alright source of character development. Asahi’s a bumbling little squirt annoyed at how unlike basically every other isekai MC this season alone, his base stats are equivalent to how original world’s self without any crazy OP powers, therefore making it harder to do anything, including evading Maya’s advances until episode 4.

Still, slowly but surely, he trains (which we should see a bit more of), he acquires powers, and improves his evasion and techniques to the point of being able to make up for his weaknesses. He may not recognize it, perhaps many viewers don’t either, but Maya does, which helps elevate both characters up a little while solidifying perhaps more character development than some isekai consumers (and haters) are used to from one of these. She herself has some surprising moments of actually sincerely looking out for him in the shadows, even if it’s always preceded by or followed up by a gaudy sexual or romantic advance in the same episode.

Otherwise, this show has a comfortable enough vibe. Tensions are minimal but they get played upon to at least a perfunctory degree, and there is some decent comedy to be had with Asahi’s bullshitting or some of the character dynamics. The latter aspect is mainly found in the borderline sitcom arch nemesis who carries the show on its back, Kilmaria. She’s a blood knight demon, among the demon lord’s top guys, and after being saved by Asahi despite tryna fight him on the grounds of his reputation, she quickly develops her own dynamics with the main duo, evolving them over time. She goes from casually hanging out with and mildly looking down on Asahi as a sort of little brother, to someone who cares about him more and more with each passing adventure. She goes from seeing Maya as this insufferable and hypocritical rival to one she eventually starts getting along with and making fun of. Perhaps her best showing is in episode 5 where, in a human disguise, she starts being excited by all the little things in a human society like horses, bridges, and the weak masses before rubbing Asahi the wrong way about how weak and inconvenient being a human must be.

Of course, the show never hard commits to any conflicts it dredges up, save for one example that introduces one of Asahi’s eventual harem members he builds up over time, but the inklings are welcome enough and some of them get just enough exploration without making the show actively need to take itself seriously. The other characters in this show are…fine? Sophie the healer is kind of annoying as an overzealous Asahi-worshiper, Tanya’s the quest-giver and total fangirl who does get an ok story with her little brother who also looks up to Asahi. Gloria’s a fun meathead girl who eventually swaps out her suspicions towards Asahi for a dorkaholic romantic interest in him that her servant, Kuon, attempts to wingman. She’s probably the second or third most fun girl in the show. Some of the other side characters like the eventually washed-up adventurer Siegfriend are amusing as well, especially when the source of his party’s humiliating downfall unknowingly greets him again.

The cast is honestly on the upper half of isekai rosters in all honesty, and you bet that Kilmaria makes at least some of them bounce off her. Even without her elevating everything for most of the show, eventually enough of them come into their own to help make the cast surprisingly decent on the whole. They’re actually kinda funny, with nearly every episode having at least one funny moment and a few bits actually being kinda hilarious. It’s also oddly nice how much they back each other up, defending each other’s character in the face of whoever’s goading, intimidating, or otherwise confronting them. It adds a sense of camaraderie to everyone that can’t quite be found in a lot of this show’s contemporaries, even Slime, and that series actively has a community being built from the ground up. The ways everyone comes together in the finale are rather fun and rewarding to see as a result of everything.

Another aspect of the show that’s better than it realistically should be is the visuals. For the most part, it looks pretty subpar. It’s Gekkou’s first release as a studio, and a directorial debut by Hiroaki Takagi, and it could be worse on either front. Sometimes it absolutely is. The show’s production is so jittery that while 60-95% of the time it looks about what you’d expect from your average seasonal, sometimes it’ll either dip into astonishingly terrible territory or bust out a couple of surprisingly decent cuts. There are plenty of animation errors even outside of the freakish drops in quality, like with the dragon in Kilmaria’s Chinese dress disappearing a lot. The action rarely gets past just ok, even when we get an oddly fine burst of sakuga. The volleyball scene in the beach episode (episode 11) is an atrocious minute of slideshows and the fanservice can range from perfunctory to downright crudely drawn, so just be glad this isn’t classified as an ecchi because as mediocre it is as an action show, it would fare even worse as an ecchi title.

The outlines tend to not stick out, but sometimes the show thickens them as part of a gag of for more climactic close-ups. The show also does play around with aspect ratios every now and then, like letterboxing in the first half of episode 1 and 4:3 in the flashback sequence that kicks off episode 7. The characters also deform into charmingly drawn chibis for a bunch of silly gags and spats, usually Maya and Kilmaria who also carry the brunt of the relatively amusing facial expressions. They do try to spice things up occasionally, and that is welcome. It honestly feels like there’s enough potential in the visuals that if it were made to simmer for another 3 months, the end result could have wound up being legitimately above average for a seasonal, let alone an isekai. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.

A more consistently mediocre aspect of the series is its music. The ED, Mukyuu Platonic” by VALIS is an oddly decent electropop song with hints of melancholy in it, which makes it better than both OPs. The music is also fairly forgettable outside of Maya’s theme and Kilmaria’s theme which get spammed basically every episode. There is an occasionally decent track once in a while like when Kilmaria tries to get Asahi to abandon Maya and become a demon, and there’s an alright insert in episode 11 that gives the siblings some time alone to discuss how far they’ve come in a mostly pleasant scene. However, that doesn’t really elevate the music much, as it’s still incredibly whatever across the board.

One Turn Kill Neesan can be a pleasant, goofy ride that revels in its own absurdity while boasting more character development and fun dynamics than one might expect. It’s also got brocon shit that will either elevate the experience for you if you’re into it, or make the show a trudge to sit through for the good bits if you aren’t. It’s very annoying and kind of embarrassing, but it is kinda cute and fun, especially whenever characters are being dorks or having each other’s back. Still, there’s enough here to elevate the show well above the likes of Smartphone, Master of Ragnarok, Arifureta, or probably half of the isekai you’re watching this season (because Kamikatsu looks like it was edited by YouTubers [derogatory] and animated by an outsourced studio in another country). In terms of an isekai you can just sit back and watch, you can do a lot worse. Name another isekai that has Kilmaria in it.

Also, this is a non-Sunrise show, non-mecha seasonal at that, which features a relatively acceptable mecha transformation sequence...in 2D. Wasted as it is on a last-minute outing and one-shot, that fact alone is borderline commendable for one of these, especially considering it’s an isekai.

Generic? Sure.
Degenerate? Absolutely.
Incest? You got it.
Predictable? Yeah.

Even with all this, Isekai Neesan has been one of the most fun anime of the season for me. Maya and Kilmaria are fun characters, the protagonist is tolerable enough and the side characters aren't annoying.

There really is no story here, just the slice of life adventures of Ikusaba Asahi, who gets into "wacky shenanigans" with his sister or the demoness friend of his. So don't expect some deep plot.

Animation quality is for the most part pretty average, with some genuinely cool looking sequences sprinkled in.

With all this said, the highlight of the anime is 100% the ED, which has no right being animated so damn well and being so damn catchy.

Would recommend this, if you want to watch some chill slice of life adventures and don't mind a bit of degeneracy.

There is a lot to like about this show, but there is one massive key element of it, that really makes it off putting.

The incest.

The story seems like really dumb fun. Sure, it's a common isekai formula, but it really seems like they aren't taking it too seriously, and are just having fun with it. Which is why I say there is a lot to like about the show. There is the fun there, but it gets off putting when you include the fact, that one of the isekai'd characters, is the MC's sister, and whom seems really, really, really, really, in ... love with the MC. It turns it into a laugh out loud moment, to a 'uhhh yeeeaaah.'

Which is a big shame, as I've said, the anime is good goofy fun, that doesn't try to take itself seriously. It reminds me of the dark elf healer from a few seasons ago. With it's humor, and just randomness. But it's held back by something like so. Which again, is a big shame, as the characters are likeable, energetic, and fun.But for some, it's going to be hard to look past the whole incest thought. As if that wasn't the case, I bet this sow would be ranked higher then it currently is.

Art and sound: 8
Honestly deservesa lot of praise. The reactions and expressions from the characters are really well done. Despite my points earlier, you can tell that the VAs are having fun with this, and the style behind these reactions are really well done. The video game references thrown in here or there are really fun, and creative. But most of all, they look great. It's why I can rank this highly, as it truly deserves props. No matter how you feel about the plot points, you gotta admit.It do look good.

One turn kill is goofy fun, but held back an uncomfortable topic, that can push away people, but it can still be enjoyed if you look past that.

This anime is a great mix of comedy, fantasy, and ecchi genres. It has a lot of funny and fanservice scenes that will make you laugh out loud, but also some emotional and dramatic moments that will tug at your heartstrings. The characters are all likable and memorable, each with their own personality and backstory. The animation is colorful and smooth, and the voice acting is excellent. The opening and ending songs are catchy and fit the mood of the show.

I recommend this anime to anyone who enjoys isekai, harem, slice-of-life, and ecchi genres. It is a fun and entertaining anime that will make you ... feel good and appreciate your family more. If you are looking for a light-hearted and heartwarming anime with a lot of humor and action, you should definitely watch My One-Hit Kill Sister.

Among all the overrated/overhyped animes this season has -if you are running trough this season you probably know which animes I am talking about- there are also the underrated ones, and [Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan] is one of those underrated, sadly.

The title of this anime resumes in just a few words what this anime is about, so yes, this anime has its uniqueness.

Watch this if you are:
- Looking for comedy + Isekai. And finally comedy scenes which weren´t try hard and most of the times a "hit" for me, even if they were light. But I know comedy is very subjective.
- Looking for ... enjoyable and easy going adventure/ride, without having to think much.

Don´t watch this if you:
- Always takes isekais for seriously, expecting it to be exactly how the system of your games works.
- Are not into incest. Maya is a BROCOM and one of the main characters; she is the older sister of Asahi (which is the male protagonist).
- Are looking for strong or overpowered male MC.
- Feel bad or hurt by having girl/female character protecting the boy/male character.

Question: "Are they blood related?"
Answer: I do not read the manga/LN so I am not 100% sure, but I am assuming they are blood related, specially because their eyes are pretty much the same and there aren´t hints in the anime that could say otherwise.

Question: "There are explicit scenes between them?"
Answer: If your question means "They Kiss?" or "Do they have sex?". Nop, there is none scenes like that. All of them are failed attempts of Maya xD Poor Maya xD And most of them ends up or is related to comedy.

Question: "Is this ecchi?"
Answer: Tricky question here. It´s not, yet it is. I would not say this is a full ecchi nor bordeline hentai anime - i.e. this is surely not a hardcore ecchi (you won´t be seeing panties shots nor nipples all the times and etc), but the teasing (fanservice) will be constantly there. Of course, there is that episode fully focused on ecchi.

Question: "Is this harem?"
Answer: In short words: Yes, but the harem here is not overused; or you could say it´s balanced? Anyway... the other girls are all nice with enjoyable personality.

The art and animation are surprisingly very good. This is something that also caught me off guard.

Strong 8/10. Would have rated it 8.5/10 if it were possible.

This show makes me nostalgic for all the crappy isekai anime I used to watch when I was younger and perfectly captures how I felt then. The protagonist is also not a complete idiot who is completely passive the whole story, but instead actually learns and develops somewhat, which is more than I can say for most generic protags. That's probably because the magic cheat powers belong to his sister instead. Overall I thought this was an enjoyable, nostalgic anime that doesn't take itself too seriously and has decent character designs and tolerable animation. It knows what it is, and is enjoyable within those bounds ... in a way that many other isekai fail to be.

“My One-Hit Kill Sister” (I seriously love the title of this one) is what happens when You have a brocon deficit.

One day a highschooler saves a child from being hit by a car, (did he just save someone from being isekaied and having an awesome life as an OP AF MC? Who knows? That’s not important) as a “reward” he gets into a coma and his body lies in the hospital bed. His… spirit? Mind? Soul? Whatever, gets sent to a fantasy world where he starts his new life as an adventurer. A not OP at all adventurer who gets into some serious trouble. Lucky ... for him, his sister arrives in the same world to help him. How? By hitting her head on the wall until she gets into a coma herself I guess. Unlike her brother, she’s overpowered af, quickly saves our hero and… demonstrates she has some serious case of a brother complex. From that moment on the siblings begin their new life in another world.

“My One-Hit Kill Sister” is a fantasy, isekai comedy with some ecchi elements to it. Because it lacks a main goal for its characters it’s mostly episodic. The previous episodes have little influence over the later ones. They aren’t completely self-contained but the watch order isn’t as important as in a show with an overarching plot.

There are two main characters that the plots revolve around.

Asahi - technically our MC with power levels that makes Kazuma from Konosuba seem like Conan the barbarian. For reasons known as “plot bullshit” he is given credit for his sister's deeds which makes him jump in adventurers ranking. He has more luck (both bad and good) than anything else, but he’s not a total moron. He’s aware of his place in the food chain and wants to get stronger but because of bad luck he lands himself in a lot of trouble. Luckily for him his sister has an unhealthy obsession with him and always saves his ass.

Maya - obsessed with her younger brother Asahi, young woman with power levels normally reserved for protagonists of shitty written self indulgent power fantasies. When I say “obsessed with her younger brother” I really don’t give it justice. To be with Asahi she inflicts blunt force trauma repeatedly to her head just to end up in a coma. In the new world, for some reason, she’s OP AF, which is lucky for Asahi because she is more than willing and able to save him from any danger. She also has a habit of adding “Big Sis” in the front of her attack names… yeah… make of that what You will. That said… she does want to go to incest town with her little brother (and judging by some of his actions and reaction I would say he isn’t 100% against the idea) and often uses her advantage over him to hug, cuddle and grab his ass. With a sister like that, who needs enemies?

There is one more character that we meet pretty early and she does appear often so I’m gonna add her to the list, even though she has a more supporting role.

Kilmaria - basically a demon version of Maya when it comes to power. She’s one of the Demon King's officers. Ok, seriously, why does it always have to be a Demon King or Demon Lord? Why not a committee or a democratically elected official? What’s with demons and monarchy? She has a major boner for fighting strong opponents which is why she quickly develops an obsession with out main siblings and tries to fight Maya on many occasions and often saves Asahi from trouble and even acts like a substitute sister.

When it comes to writing the show is a mixed bag. On one hand there isn’t much originality when it comes to the situations our heroes get into, on the other, the execution of them and the little twists are solid. The lack of main goal allows the show to experiment both the genres of episodes (most are still just pure comedy) as well as modify the group dynamic and the amount of characters. When a character is not needed they just disappear doing their own stuff without the need for the waiver to give a damn about it. It is a solid (but not great) substitute for a coherent, overarching plot line.

The drawback is that most of the episodes follow the same main route. Get a quest - fuck around - find out - get rescued by the sister. It is repetitive but thanks to the fact that the show has only 12 episodes it isn't as infuriating as it could be if it had 20 or more. It does however make it feel like it overstays its welcome a bit (about 1-2 episodes). Especially because things don’t really change. Asahi does get stronger over those 12 episodes, that is something that I can, and will, always commend - having a hero who actually evolves. But despite that his place in the group and the amount he contributes when shit hits the fan, doesn’t. Maybe except the last episode where he has a chance to shine.

The show is a dumb comedy (to be honest I sometimes got a flashback to Konosuba, especially in the way our main duo gets a house) and wears that on its sleeve and that’s something I can respect, even if the writing isn’t something to write home about. If You want some dumb fun without the need to remember details from previous episodes, You will have fun with this one.

First thing you need to do. WATCH the closing credits. It's an emotional roller-coaster using several animation styles that is basically a prequel to the series. You can FEEL her suffering the loss of her brother. Yes, the sis/bro thing it way over the top, but the bottom line is she will do anything for him because their previous life revolved around him doing the same for her. Her end-goal is to see him grow and become independent.

The animation is really well done, the sound is great and the voice acting perfect. OK, yea, it's "JAIA" Just Another Isekai Anime - and many characters ... are cardboard cutouts/boilerplates that are interchangeable with any other JAIA. So if you're looking for originality - you won't find it here.

BUT it's still funny, over-the-top and entertaining.

With other works under their belts such as "Tenpuru" and their involvement in sound production for "Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time", I didn't have much hope for this anime.

The original creators, Konoe and Kenji Taguchi, seem to have a fascination with the incest trope, which immediately raises eyebrows and leaves a sour taste in the viewer's mouth. Despite hoping for more depth in the characters or a surprising twist that would shatter the notion of blood relations; the ... anime disappoints as an unremarkable Isekai that fails to offer anything original, succumbing to the overwhelming generic and bland tropes that saturate the entirety of the Isekai genre. I find myself browsing my phone as it becomes a harder and harder task to remain engaged as the story "progresses", with its bland mc/creepy incestuous sister and lackluster narrative that fails to create any genuine emotions or provide a compelling story.

Six episodes in and regrettably, this anime is a prime example of wasted potential and missed opportunities.(The actually tearjerking moment as maya grieved in the hospital watching over her dead brother) With its unimaginative approach into the Isekai genre, "One Hit Kill Sister" becomes an underwhelming addition to the already crowded sea of forgettable anime. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out the other options that will truly leave a lasting impression this season.

Well where do I start. I’m someone who loves Isekai. It’s my favorite genre but this anime is really cliché and somehow it gets annoying how the sister is acting after 2nd episode…

The story is not unique it’s just a sister having a kink for her brother lol.

What I really don’t like is that the MC has no power he is so useless I don’t even get why he is there. He is most likely only there for the running joke of his sister being strong otherwise no purpose at all.

The anime depends on its comedy only tbh which well the comedy ain’t really ... good it’s always the same jokes either about the mc being weak or his sister wanting to do the deeds. It just gets tired at some point.

The animation of this anime ain’t bad tho. I guess the put everything into the animation.

If u want a cliche comedy anime and an Isekai like that one where the MC is in another world with his mom (forgot the name lol) then u will like it. But if you looking for an Isekai like slime then well u won’t like it. I would say if u want to just chill and do nothing and for some reason like these jokes then u should watch it like maybe rather seeing it like Romcom instead.

The plot is hilarious and original. Asahi is a boy who finds himself in a fantasy world with his sister Maya, who loves him madly and protects him from every enemy with a single blow. The two join the adventurers' guild and live incredible adventures, meeting nice and charismatic characters.

The series is a fantasy comedy with elements of action, harem and fan service. The tone is light and fun, but also exciting and dramatic. ... The characters are lovable and have some interesting dynamics between them. The animation style is beautiful, with nice drawings and dynamic fight scenes. The soundtrack is pleasant and suitable for various scenes.

In conclusion, My One-Hit Kill Sister is an anime series that drove me crazy, because it met my expectations and tastes. It made me laugh, excite, surprise and excite me. I fell in love with the characters and their story. I hope they make a second season soon. My rating is 10/10.

A young man loses consciousness and is effectively rendered comatose, and so he is whisked away to a fantasy world where it is unclear if he is merely dreaming everything that occurs or if he is spiritually deceased back on Earth, the threads of his fate severed there and woven anew in this magical place he now exists. No stranger to the Isekai genre himself, the main character immediately gets to it, hunts down the nearest adventurer's guild and one-stop adventure-ready shop to gear up and make himself at home in this new reality. He even takes on his very first quest after joining the ... adventuring guild and is prepared to face down whatever adversity comes his way - until he immediately encounters a hard wall in a dragon that is attacking him. It dawns on him that he is not actually an overpowered Isekai protagonist and as he attempts to flee he is cornered by the dangerous beast and all but resigns himself to his fate, praying for the one thing Earthly that historically brought him some semblance of comfort: his onee-san, who appears before him ready to protect him.

The above is the premise and introduction to the show. The themes are harem, slice-of-life, incestuous suggestions, and boisterous large-breasted demon women. There is the anime-staple beach episode, the anime-staple of the main character being constantly flustered in any precariously sensual circumstances, the anime-staple of women vying for the main character over one another, and the list of usual tendencies goes on. There is even a tournament and some sad backstories. This show is a wholly formulaic experience much like every other like it.

The writing is mediocre with the only notable ingredient being the constant advances the older sister of the main character attempts to make on her brother, and if one were to view the script for this series and simply cut all instances of brother and sister from the script, instead making the characters' interpersonal relationship something along the lines of childhood friendship, or adventuring comrades, then this anime would be indistinguishable from every other like it. It could be said that this show was intended to appeal to a very specific demographic. As far as the plot goes, there is no plot - this is a slice-of-life harem adventure with no stakes whatsoever. The redeeming quality of it all is that the show does not bother taking itself seriously, and so the frivolity of its cast of characters is easily forgiven.

The animation is bland; it has a sort of unpolished look to it, which could be called endearing, but is the more probable byproduct of a thin budget. Several of the better animated sequences are recycled, such as the notable attacks some characters use. Some frames and sequences are stiff and lack fluidity.

The only outstanding qualities in this anime are Kilmaria, who possesses 2 outstanding qualities herself; the maid; and the ED, which was unexpectedly catchy for a show such as this. I cannot recommend this anime, but I also cannot dismiss it as it: the show is entertaining for what it is. If you are a fan of background noise anime of the slice-of-life fantasy genre then you could do worse.

A lot of people having second thoughts about this show because of the goofiness of how the anime is presented and written and not appreciate it for what it is.

"Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan: Ane Douhan no Isekai Seikatsu Hajimemashita" is a incest bait type of show and it doesn't even try and hide the fact that its incest bait, Despite this fact this show is actually pretty good and enjoyable. All the characters in the show aren't bland and their chemistry is pretty good which gives a better impact to the comedy of the show, The fight scenes in this show actually went hard, ... It has good animation and production quality.

One of the things that I liked about this show is the MC, He isn't overly dramatic, coward, and a crybaby, He isn't one of those useless MC's where they are literally hopeless because they have weak stats, You can count on my boi Asahi when it matters most. Going back to the incest aspect of the show, I know that many people find it weird or whatnot and I completely understand but If you could get past that fact you will find this show pretty enjoyable to watch, And its not all horny, fan service type of incest bait(well it is but there are wholesome moments too is what I meant lol).

As for the story, They have a goal chasing and it is to get back in their own world but the show isn't really focused on that and is more slice of life adventure type of show so all weird shit happens and they just go along with it.

Overall It is an Isekai you could enjoy and I think everyone should give it a chance if possible. Also the ED goes hard like holy lol.

A normal guy that gets transported in another world with his sister. He starts basically from 0, while his sister is OP af.

That s the context of the whole story... which can work, but not in this case. It is random, bad random... situations that don't really make sense, like you know your sister is the most OP character, why are you still worrying about her so much?? It's like 60% basic isekai story that you forget a day after, and it's also made in a kinda cringe way, at least to me because it's too perfect to the stereotype of an isekai, where of ... course he's gonna say those lines and stuff... so nothing original there. I would say 20% is like the jokes, some which were somewhat successful, but some aren't, which makes fun of some of the tropes in isekai anime (why not make the whole anime like this? would have been wayy better than what we got...). The rest are his sister or other girls hitting on him or something... especially his sister... yea... it's that type of relation, but he still refuses it at least... And for real, after this anime, you'll become quite numb to the trope of falling into boobs, cuz it happens so damn much and it didn't have the comedic timing, at least for me. If you try to think too much about the story and stuff, it's just gonna hurt... it's a stupid kind of show in short. Doesn't make much sense in everything they do or happens, but it still goes on.

When it comes to characters, you don't have much to look towards as well. The only good one is Kilmaria, and maybe his sister, but she becomes a bit annoying sometimes. The rest of the girls are one dimension with no depth. The dynamic between characters is also weird overall. Again, it goes towards the idea of "stupid fun"...

There are some redeeming qualities I would say. One is the art. I thought this anime would rely heavely on CGI, but it didn't, none at all. So props to them for that. Alas, it wasn't that good of an art, but it still was pretty good for the most part.

Another quality is the ED... man... the ED is one of the best, at least until the last part of it which is okayish only.... kinda makes you theorize a bit about his situation. This anime didn't deserve such a cool ED... it doesn't fit it...

Story: 6 -- Not much of a story, too many stupid situations and the jokes are hit or miss...

Art: 8 -- Pretty good art, no CGI.

Music: 9 -- The ED is pretty good. And they also have 2 different OPs, in a 12 eps core... that's something ig.

Characters: 7 -- No depth, no nothing. The only one I enjoyed was Kilmaria, but even she didn't have much screen time...

Enjoyment: 7 -- Sometimes i was nice, sometimes it wasn't at all, but most of the time, it wasn't... too many basic forgetable moments, too many no thoughts put into scenes... I can't say I enjoy the "stupid fun" stuff, at least not in this manner...

I can't say I recommend it to anyone but to those that wanna watch something and really don't have anything else, or like the "stupid fun" idea coupled with an ultra generic isekai made in cringe way. You won't get much out of this imo... Better spend it on another thing...

I will set this clear just once, this anime does not have incest. It does have overly gross close siblings.

Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan (IOTKN) is actually a very fun anime to watch, I have honestly enjoyed it from start to finish. Many animes tagged with comedy often run out of gas mid season, or overly use the same patterns, and are often out of gas, with a flat tire, and a broken record on top. This anime does nicely trying out new routines with different characters, and does so refreshingly that the comedy does not seem dry.

Sigh, yet another isekai, my guilty pleasure, ... but with a trending twist. Truck kun makes his cameo here and sends Ikusaba Asahi to another world. He did save a life, so it seems the big guys upstairs decided to reward him by sending Asahi to a once in a lifetime event to another world. As an otaku, none of this was too foreign, but he did have a major problem from the start, he was far weaker than that world's standard. When he cried for help, his sister Maya somehow got summoned and thus begins their life together.

STORY

The story is simple, we see the lives of Asahi and Maya Ikusaba in another world. There is a strange twist of Asahi still being alive on Earth, but somehow Maya got summoned after head banging the wall, and we can probably guessed, she was also in a coma. Meh, this is a comedy anime, no need for our thinking caps.

The pacing was very good from my point of view. It was mainly a slice of life series, introducing new characters with their own unique personalities, and bringing them up from time to time. There is no set objective like defeating The Demon Lord, creating a reincarnators' paradise, establishing the dominance of modern warfare etc, just something to chillax to. All we get is a town and the surrounding areas.

At the end of the day Asahi, though weak as he is, actually improved bit by bit. We also get to see Maya also letting Asahi roam more free, only providing help as needed. In this world, falsifying your power leads to capital punishment, Asahi is tryin to level up. There is another character who realizes that he is weak, but does not spoil it for everyone else. Who knows, Asahi may come clean one day, and his friends still accept him for what he is worth.

ART

Pretty much what we should be expecting from series these days. Uniquely enough characters to tell them apart. Some pretty backgrounds to look at. A hint of battle scenes, although it was very lacking, but no problem since this is mainly a comedy. We do get to see lots of different facial emotions to not feel too bland on all of the characters.

SOUND

The cast had fun with this, anyone can tell they all tried to stay within their characters while also trying to have fun bursting. If cast members had that much fun, we watchers can also get in on the action. All of the OP and ED were nicely done to fit with the series. One tells us about their time in this world, while the other tells a slight prequel.

CHARACTER

A fun bag of characters join in on the adventure; We get your friendly neighborhood guild clerk to guide Asahi. A high ranking demon wanting to see what it is like as an average human. A nun with an unholy tendency to attract trouble. A princess knight with brawns for brains, and her maid to sometimes fix things, and other times make them worse. They all have their quirks and often bring a new refreshing twist to the comedy.


ENJOYMENT

This is my cup of coffee. Sure I do agree it is at most a mid tier anime, hell probably also a mid tier isekai. But, it does have a lot of comedy from start til end. The ending was well made, with Maya acknowledging Asahi's growth. If only most people can drop out what they know about anime and be more like Maya, comparing Asahi from the start of the show til the end, I guess this will be higher up in the ranks.

I disagree with most premises here that the incest is the problem.
If anything it's the only thing that they copied from the homework of others that hasn't been done to death at this point.
However, not even THAT they put any effort into.
They could've gone and made it shocking like Game of Thrones did, but nah.
Anybody here remember the world hit wonder "Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?"?
Which wasn't just weird as fuck, but also annoying as fuck, boring as fuck, and unoriginal as fuck? Well this is that, except the mother is the sister, and it's somehow even more unoriginal.

I'll say ... it, the incest was the only factor/angle that they could've used to their advantage had they made it shocking, it would've been weird yes, but it also might've made the show a tiny bit more intriguing, as it worked for got, but instead they didn't have the balls to follow through with it, and it just turned out to be a wet blanket, an overposessive sister and some lame harrassment jokes here and there.
I really don't know what kind of audience they're catering to here, but it looks like yet again some production studio shat on a storyboard and here we are again, isekai.
