Yuusha, Yamemasu

When Demon Queen Echidna begins her invasion of the human realm, the people turn to the hero Leo Demonheart to protect them. Blessed with insurmountable power, Leo easily repels Echidna's army, thereby saving the world. But instead of gratitude or admiration, Leo is met with disdain and scorn from his fellow humans, who fear his overwhelming strength and believe that it may eventually cause humanity's demise.

Banished from the kingdom he once called home, Leo wanders aimlessly throughout the land until, one day, he hears rumors of Echidna's efforts to rebuild her army. Hoping that demonkind might accept him as an ally, he returns to the demon queen's castle and offers Echidna his help.

Naturally, Echidna immediately rejects him. Still, not all hope is lost, as Leo manages to convince Echidna's four generals to let him secretly work under their supervision. Donning the identity of a masked dark knight named Onyx, Leo solves the demon army's problems one by one—gradually improving the quality of life around the castle. Above all else, however, Leo wants to accomplish one goal: to learn why Echidna started the war in the first place.

i think this is a very good series there are ups and downs in this anime, the only one down part about this is less character development
they mostly were trying to go for the ultimate showdown so some there are some characters that are not so well made one i don't think this is a spoiler but the most worst character this season is the loli character she's the most annoying out of the anime that you have to it takes a generic trait from most anime where if someone loses they have to get married it's one of the most annoying things in the ... anime and kinda ruins the fun outta the character other than that its not the worst anime there are worse i see its a good anime and it deserves atleast an 8, if you're not going for some serious shit its good the main is op character who is kinda edgy but as i watch anime i kinda like it nowadays and its the first season of the anime it started off good not the greatest but very good i am very looking forward to where it goes to next i have good expectations for it.

Mixed Feelings

tl;dr: An anime that’s overall pretty rough, but has a single unexpected core aspect that’s pretty amazing.

This anime is one that starts as one thing, but ends as something completely different. The first half or so of the anime is centered around the hero, Leo Demonheart wanting to join the Demon Queen, Echidna’s, army. The demons were going through a tough time and could certainly use the help. However, Leo’s the one that put them in such dire straights in the first place so Echidna rejects him. However, he’s still adamant about joining so he ends up working out a deal with the generals that ... work under her. From there, he basically goes around helping out each of the generals learn some sort of management technique to help them better serve as leaders within the Demon Army. These range from the importance of delegating tasks to how to hold an effective interview. As such, this half of the anime is basically an educational show about best business practices set in a medieval fantasy like setting. It’s not all that well written though. None of the characters are all that interesting, and overall it just felt kind of dull. The lessons don’t feel all that valuable either from the point of view of a viewer.

The second part transitions to something much more complex and also somewhat dark. It’s hard to explain without going into spoilers territory, but it’s heavily centered around the existential crisis of an immortal living weapon. And it goes hard on that. It goes in detail into his mindset and how it changed over time and what led to that change. It does a really effective job of conveying his emotions, the pain and loneliness he was feeling, and why that led him to take the actions he was taking. Things get really intense and it’s enough to really pull you in and get you invested in where the story is going to go. It was pretty impressive.

With that said, there were also a lot of issues. The second part really doesn’t flow well off the first part. It feels pretty tonally and thematically inconsistent. This part would work a lot better if the viewer had more investment in the character’s outside of the protagonist, but ultimately the only character that felt interesting and worth getting invested in was the protagonist and the rest of the cast still feels pretty flat and boring. Also, the way everything ended up getting resolved felt too easy, especially after all the build up. It felt somewhat like a return to how things were in the first part of the anime. It was pretty underwhelming. Thus even though I was fine with the broader elements of the ending, I can’t say I was totally satisfied with it. I’m also very unsure about whether I want to continue it, because if it’s more like the first part I’ll pass, but I would definitely be more interested in more like the second part.

The art and animation can certainly be rough at times but overall were decent enough. The character designs I thought were overall pretty weak though. The OP was great in terms of the song and visuals, and fit incredibly well. The EDs were also really interesting and reflected the change in the show really well. The soundtrack was also pretty good and fit well, especially during the more intense parts.

The show has a great plot/story to tell but it's heavily ruined by a bad writing. There are so many things that could have been written better and to add up with how the characters feels so bland. When I try to find it from a comedy side, there is not a single joke that's funny. I also tried to be positive that maybe, MAYBE the fight scene would be good but, NO. For the animation and art, it's below average. I found myself quite often multi tasking while trying to finish this show because it come to the point that "why you feels the ... need to write this scene? What does it contribute to?". There are like so many scene that are being tell at the wrong time as if it trying to give "hint" to the audience. This is one of the show that is trying so hard to be great but failed at it miserably.
IMO, there's no reason for you to watch this, so I wouldn't recommend it.
