This stack contains non-isekai fantasy anime that you could easily mistake for being an isekai.


Isekai means "different world" and is a Japanese genre of portal fantasy and science fiction. It is a bit hard to define, but generally revolves around a person (or multiple people) who are transported or reincarnated into another world.
Since this definition is fairly broad, you'll find some shows like "Sonny Boy" or "Bakemono no Ko" that are technically isekai, but may not seem like it, as they do not share the most common tropes that you'll see in other isekai anime like “Death March”, “Kenja no Mago”, “Isekai smartphone” or “Mushoku Tensei”. While these shows are not completely identical, they do share a number of tropes, like having a male protagonist enter a medieval fantasy world filled with monsters and magic where they either start with powerful abilities or slowly gain them, similarly to progressing in a fantasy RPG. It is also common for similar isekai shows to include game mechanics like ability stats, skill names, UI screens or even an infinite inventory. Another common trope is for the protagonist to be a chosen or summoned hero who goes on a quest to save the world, ending up with great powers, great riches and a harem of love interests.


This is a list of shows that could be mistaken as isekai since they share a lot of the most common tropes, but missing the element of being transported to another world.


A great example is “Danmachi” where the protagonist already exists in a fantasy world, has a unique and powerful ability and explores a dungeon full of monsters, gaining new stats and skills as though he was the protagonist of a fantasy RPG.

Fantasy anime that are less about slaying a demon lord and more about managing a kingdom or business.

I've made a collection of some anime that made my eyes tear up, this could be because of happiness or just pure sadness.

Feel free to send me any anime recommendations related to this topic. I will watch them and might add them to this stack.

Disclaimer: I've only added anime I experienced sweaty eyes from myself. This means I didn't add shows that are known to cause emotional damage, if I didn't experience it myself.
I've also only added the first seasons of the certain anime. Sometimes the next season or the movie is way more emotional, but if you haven't seen anything of that franchise it'll be better to start from the beginning.

My stack about some of my favorite animes that I watched every single one myself, containing Demons,Demon Lords (Maou), Djinn and even Yokai.

The demons can be the antagonists, protagonists or even a mean for power.

Some of them may take longer for the demons to appear, some of them will include demons/demon lords starting from 2nd Season.

As for the rating, I leave that to your own judgement and tastes.

This list will include the main characters of the anime who are awesome is every way or focusing on one tactic that makes MC chad in the anime

Strength, intelligence, wittiness etc. Even if it looks like that they are in a tight spot instantly they can make a comeback.

(I will not include the seasons of the same anime to keep it short and to ignore the repeats.I will keep the list up to date)

If you are into protagonists who are very strong from the very beginning instead of a "From Zero to Hero" Anime then these anime are for you.

All these anime's include very shippable characters who mostly have no other person in the anime you could possibly ship them with. This is a marketing ploy because this makes anime/ships very popular as well as being apart of the lgbtqia+ community is not openly embraced by any Asian media. A lot of these anime's has novels, manga chps, side manga, official art, and drama cds that are very suggestive or downright very gay. They have all have very suggestive scenes in the animes as well including op, ed, end credits that are very fruity.

Kakuyomu is Japan's novel publishing website developed by KADOKAWA where anyone can publish and read novels free of charge. These animes are anime of Kakuyomu origin.

The year is coming to a close and I felt that this year contained a lot of hype sequels, especially in Fall. As such I decided to shed more light on some of the new shows divided into their particular genre that aired during the entirety of 2022.

This interest stack has shows where we don't initially know much about one of the main characters we're watching. They have an entertaining personality, but we don't get a straightforward answer about where they come from, what exactly they want, and what drives them to act the way they do.

These shows do a good job of slowly feeding this information to the audience which enhances the mystery behind the character and keeps us hooked on what's to come from them.

For the simple minded people who still enjoy the fine art of watching bland main characters whoop everyone's asses and mostly always accumulate a harem of fine bitches.

some are joining force with the hero for something else like defeating the demon lord.
if isn't all some stories are about joining into the demon army so... you get twist and turns in stories so you would not get bored apparently

I'm just going to add the first season of series to this stack. Not all are "good" by any means but they scratch that part of my brain so maybe they will for you too. If you have suggestions DM me I'm planning on updating this as I watch new series!
