Both main character is betrayed by people around them. Although Naofumi from Tate no Yuusha was "only" betrayed by the royalties, Yuusha, Yamemasu takes it to another level with the main character that is betrayed not only by the royalties but also the entire kingdom with it's people. Both main character also has a similar goal which is seek revenge
