Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu

After falling asleep while playing an online game, a man wakes up and finds himself transported to that game's world as his in-game character, Arc. He wastes no time adjusting to his new environment, but soon realizes that he is using the skeleton avatar he chose when creating his character, which forces him to hide his visage to avoid unwanted attention.

Arc goes to the nearby castle town of Luvierte, hoping to become an adventurer and take on quests to earn money. With his overpowered abilities, Arc embarks on a fantastical journey—exploring diverse territories, looting various monsters, and helping people get out of sticky situations. However, his seemingly innocuous actions may soon involve him in a brewing large-scale conflict that will forever alter the fate of the realm.

TW: sxsual assault and few disturbing scene

The story is not that heavy, it's klisé just like the usual isekai anime we used to enjoy. I personally love it because there's no harem plot with annoying pick-me girl fighting over MC. There's no get-slipped-and -accidentally-grab-random-girl-tits type of plot.
MC even find a main plot for himself in the middle of his journey: to find a way curing his body. I think it's nice since many of isekai stories don't have main plot, just wandering around collecting new harem.

It's a solid 7 out of 10 from me: it's good to enjoy.

Mixed Feelings

Here's more or less an old review I posted at time of watching this.
It's pretty underwhelming. There's not significant spoilers only a mention of which themes are explored and how they could have done it better.

5/10 It can be funny but that's about it.
Any seriousness is quickly ruined for me by simply bad writing.
The weird PS2 graphics 3D animations are kinda weird.
It's obviously not the worst show ever but Average 5/10 or at best 6/10 seems justified.
Not sure how the hell this has an 8.54/10 over here. Even 7/10 MAL seems high.
Bonus points for some of the music and soundtracks I guess those were pretty ... neat.
The MC himself is also fun enough so there's that without that I'd have not even come back to the show after leaving for a while due to simply bad writing being painful.
The elf girl is also fine, it's really just the story, plot points, and world building that are honestly just bad and stereotypical at best. It reinforces a ton of the worst and unjustified tropes, has a poor understanding of slavery of practically any kind and is generally full of holes and things that don't make a lot of sense if you think about it for more than 2 seconds. It's partially not it's fault that the same "bad writing" being repeated in other shows again and again just makes it leave a worse taste every time I mean "Shield Hero" commits a lot of the same "sins" but that simply cancelled it out with other writing that actually did have some weight and quality to it. This show just doesn't. It's writing is "Okay" at best and simply "Bad" at it's worst. If you oversimplify and unrealistically present something like slavery again and again and again at some point it just becomes silly. There's a clear lack of motivation, cause and effect and general logic.
And it even had the gall to compare such an inaccurate representation to "the age of exploration" or whatever.
Now if he'd said that after seeing Elves capture and sell other Elves to humans, in a world where these humans are the only species that actually ended slavery but because they are Elves they use it as a good/bad excuse to buy them anyway and break the rules cuz "they're not human"
Now that would be a somewhat valid comparison.
Or maybe if there was a race they'd never been in contact with and they infected them and a ton of them died and they also treated them badly, and there was colonization and many crimes that go with it like r-word even that would be a valid comparison.
Although both of these comparisons would still benefit from a larger and more varied world, like how in war among most cultures and peoples in general "r-word" and slavery were the standard not the exception.
You could also switch the roles however you want and heck I encourage them to do so.
If you want to create a race of orc's that's actually the most civilized and closest to getting rid of things like slavery. Go ahead that'd be amazing though you'd have to also account for the problems they would face like elevating themselves above other races because they are civilized, and don't have slavery nor r-word their enemies, but also like how some orcs in particular those looking for money would ultimately find a way to somehow have r-word and slavery anyway.
And then if you have even more balls you'd also show a completely different socially functioning way of slavery and how all the people of a certain race including the slaves will defend that system when another group or race or the MC is trying to impose that they should end slavery.
Slavery plots don't [b]have to[/b] be bad. But you're making them bad by not even thinking about them or being creative whatsoever.
I mean look at bloody One Piece, they got it right, the bad/worst kind of slavery isn't even really about race although it might be used as an additional excuse, it's mostly about Class. And even One Piece really only captures one kind of slavery.
I'm going on a tangent that was obviously far from the only thing the show lacked but it was just an example.

I think that many of us have seen this story before and we may also know what this series can be based on, it is nothing innovative to see a person reincarnate in their favorite video game, we have seen it before and it is a genre that can be said to be A point of being exploited by low quality series is coming, this is not the exception, it is not a bad series, don't get me wrong, I think that if you have not seen this genre before you will really like this first taste, but yes You already have a background, you ... are going to see this series as a mediocre series that does not innovate at all and is not very entertaining, as it is in my case, I could make this review simpler by saying that it is just a mediocre series of the bunch and that's how it is, I would recommend it... maybe, but only if you haven't seen series of the genre, but don't waste your time, there are many better and more interesting options.

Creo que ya muchos hemos visto está historia antes y puede que también sepamos en que se puede basar está serie, no es nada innovador el ver a una persona reencarnar en su videojuego favorito ya lo hemos visto antes y es un genero que se puede decir que esta llegando un punto de estar explotado de series con baja calidad, está no es la excepción, no es una mala serie, no me mal entiendan, creo que si no has visto este genero antes te va a gustar muchísimo esta primera probada, pero si ya tienes un antecedente vas a ver está serie como una serie mediocre que no innova en nada y no es muy entretenida, como lo es en mi caso, podría hacer mas simple está reseña diciendo que es solo una serie mediocre del montón y así es, la recomendaría… puede que si pero solo si no has visto series del genero sino no pierdas el tiempo hay muchas mejores opciones y mas interesantes.
