Munou na Nana

Fifty years ago, horrific creatures dubbed as the "enemies of humanity" suddenly appeared around the world. To combat these threats, teenagers gifted with supernatural abilities called "Talents"—such as pyrokinesis and time travel—hone their powers at an academy on a secluded island.

Nanao Nakajima, however, is quite different from the others on the island: he has no Talent. With many "Talented" teenagers around him, Nanao is often a target for bullying, but even so, he still strives to complete his training. Soon after, two transfer students, the mysterious Kyouya Onodera and the mind-reading Nana Hiiragi, join the class. But just as everyone starts blending as comrades-in-arms, mysterious disappearances begin to threaten the class's entire foundation.

I watched this when it first aired and as I am trying to watch the rest of the top 1000 animes that I have never watched or heard about, I have wished more of them were like this one.

This anime has a clear purpose and follows it all the way thorugh with concise and entertaining sequence of episodes. Then I come back to this page and it is in the low 7's, when some of the worst and most boring animes are sitting on really high 7's and I cant help but wonder the flaws that people see in this.

This show is just so good, ... and most importantly it is such a fresh air when you see these poorly excecuted plot twists in other shows

Mixed Feelings

Long summary short, the story line and idea of this anime could have been great. I dig the whole assassin feels like they are doing thaw right thing because they believed they were wrong by the humans who have supernatural abilities.

This anime is suspenseful, and entertaining. However, along the way it definitely starts to eel repetitive and loses the art of guessing towards the end simple because you can see however will pan out. I think the reason why it turns that way is because it is only one season. This anime could easily have had 24 episodes for season one or wat ... least have been a two-season anime, but it was rushed in the end. Yet another good anime ruined because they had to rush.

I recommend watching for yourself and come back and tell me what you thought of the anime and what you think its lacking.

I have years of anime and hundreds of series under my belt. I speak Japanese, have lived in Japan, and have watched anime from 12 until my current age (almost 40). So, let me say with as much experience as a person can have, approaching anime from the multiple different angles it can be approached from, and having tons of experience - socially as well as linguistically- this is the single worste anime I have EVER seen. I got trapped into watching it because I thought there might be some clever way all the stupidity might tie into some big reveal. Spoiler* it doesn't. I ... can't even express how much I hate this anime. It might be the worst piece of trash ever made. Do not waste your time!
