Nanatsu no Taizai: Funnu no Shinpan

Now for the review lol. The shows not the best but it's not the worst. Its a bit better than average. It does everything mediocre except for the story and character design in my opinion. The characters are original, and have depth. Each one experiences a lot of character development over the 5 seasons. The story reminds me of a pure fantasy story. Like a fairytale out of a story book with lots of twists, turns, and with lots of emotion. Albeit they do use the same techniques and ideas over again as plot devices. However almost all longer animes they ... do this maybe just not as much.

More than the fairytale story that it first seems like and Many people view it as, I view this as one long love story which isn't mentioned much here but that's what this show is from beginning to end. A story of a boy for 3000 years goes on an adventure to save a cursed girl which is the one and only love of his life.

This season shows the conclusion of the boys adventure and ends the story of the boy and the girl. That's how I viewed the entire 5 seasons and from this perspective the show is really moving and a fun watch.

I’d probably rate this season about the same as the previous three.
That said, I’m starting to wonder if a 7 might be a bit too generous for this anime—but for now, I’ll stick with it. Honestly, this is one of the hardest anime I've had to rate. It’s not boring to watch, but it’s also not particularly exciting either.

Season 4 does have quite a few solid twists—real, proper twists that keep things interesting—but even with those, it still doesn’t take my breath away. The impact just isn’t strong enough.

One recurring issue for me is the overly dramatic love story. It feels like the core theme ... of the whole anime, and while I don’t mind romance in general, this one is just way too sweet and sentimental. It ends up being more annoying than touching.

One thing I’m sure of: I won’t be rewatching this anime on my own. It’s decent for a one-time watch, but not something I’d come back to.

I will have to say, if you've watched the previous seasons and want an ending to the story you've been following for years, then watch this..

But I have to say, this story is full of plot holes at this point. Characters are also beginning to act out of character in certain situations and also, things that some of them have been questioning all of the seasons because they didn't know, now in some flashbacks it shows that exact thing that they "didn't know" in sitauations involving those characters..
Might be a weird explanation, but basically just more plot holes and stuff that doesn't make sense..

But ... this isn't even the worst part of it.. The worst part is the animations.. They've become so sloppy!
This is especially in regard to the fighting scenes... If you look at season 1 and 2, you actually saw some cool looking animations when they attack. However, now it's more like still images with the attack/objects moving, but not the character.. Imagine you looking at the character while he shoots back at you (on the screen), while you can't see what they are aiming at, and then the next scene the attack has already hit.. So you don't get to see the middle part, the traveling of the skill... and also, they lack those cool UMF moments in the fights as the first season had.
It feels like they wanted to rush the production to finish it and therefor didn't have time to fully animate the fighting scenes..

So overall, I watched this simply to finish the story, but damn, I wasn't enjoying it at all..
