Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken OVA

One day, Shuna and Shion are fighting over Rimuru's squishy slime body as usual. Rimuru figures that giving them each a body double of himself would solve the conflict, but when he imagines some of his other friends asking him to do the same for them, he quickly drops that plan. Then he comes up with the idea to make a cushion in the shape of his slime form. He travels around Tempest to see if his friends know of any good materials he can use, and he learns that a special type of sand found along a lake shore in the forest is exactly what he's looking for. So he sets out to collect some sand... but a monster is waiting for him by the lake! What's more, Milim hears about his plan for a picnic and comes racing down from the sky!

I won't say much about this since it is just an ova. But if you liked the humor or gags in the main show, then this ova actually has the best joke in the entire series. I was laughing so hard when I saw it. The joke made all five eps worth it. If ya like humor, watch this and it will provide an amazing joke for you. Though the content overall is still great even without the joke since it is still the slime isekai after all.

Also has some of if not the best fanservice in the series if ya like that.

Mixed Feelings

It's not an entirely pleasant experience. At the beginning, it focuses on a lot of fanservice, and we realize that it will be an OVA without content. However, when the episodes start showing an event at the academy, where the Tempest students will participate, the story becomes more enjoyable and not so much of a waste of time.

Unfortunately, since the beginning of this animation has two episodes focused on fanservice, without content, the overall rating is lower than it deserves for its last three episodes.

The score is justified by its beginning, not by the academy arc, if only this arc is considered, the score goes ... to 6

It is hard to review this short series, because it is split into two diametrally different parts.
And this split is why the series got such a low score. The two halves clash with each other so poorly.
On one side, first two episodes of plotless, unfiltered ecchi. On the other, the rest episodes of fun children adventures.
Let me repeat it again, pure, wholesome children adventures preceded by porn-lite.
Of course thei time gap between emission kind of justifies that. But binging them one after another gives a huge whiplash.
If only second part had its own series I'd give it much higher score. But even with it present, ... I cannot bring myself to rate the goddamn awful first part any higher.
