Anime about characters who are able to manipulate situations and control people and/or outcomes.

Anime where the vast majority of the cast have natural hair colours (brown, black, blonde, ginger, etc.), but one of them was just born with brightly coloured hair (bonus points if there’s no explanation and nobody ever questions it).

This list comprises some notable ENTJ characters.

ENTJ indicates a person who is energized by time spent with others (Extraverted), who focuses on ideas and concepts rather than facts and details (iNtuitive), who makes decisions based on logic and reason (Thinking) and who prefers to be planned and organized rather than spontaneous and flexible (Judging).

Most fictional ENTJ characters in modern media are depicted as villains, but only because ENTJ’s move with purpose, are future oriented, see the bigger picture, have their own unique morals code and the uncanny charisma to get others on their side.

For people who are dead tired of MC's who are dumb as dirt with no competence in anything, only succeeding thanks to luck and "power of friendship".

This list features anime where protagonists are highly skilled, confident, or overpowered. Succeeding thanks to their own abilities first and foremost.

Includes both female and male protagonists. I don't discriminate. A kickass MC is a kickass MC.

I won't be adding sequels, only the first season. Characters and themes of the show don't usually change from one season to the next. In the rare cases they do, I will mention it.

You also won't find any non-Japanese anime here, unless there's a Japanese localized version. I need my anime to be in Japanese.

I am also not adding shows that I haven't fully completed myself, even if they might qualify. Also, a lot of shows are simply so mediocre or flat out terrible, that I would not wish to recommend them to anyone.

An anime with an edgy protagonist with a difficult, sad fate who is trying to change the world (perform revenge, fight demons or defeat their arch enemies as an option). Often in cynical or severely cruel ways. In general, the embodiment of those fantasies that visited you as a child while listening to Bullet for My Valentine and watching Underworld.

Please note that the criterion was precisely a certain type of protagonist, and not the nature of the anime itself, in principle, since there are quite a lot of edgy anime as such. I wanted to create a stack specifically for a certain archetype of characters.

With lying being such a huge part of human nature, it’s no surprise that so many anime series and movies have attempted to tackle this topic.

Each one of these entries incorporates lying or general deceptive practices as a core theme, although the reasons behind them, methods for doing so, and consequences vary drastically between them. Only the first (in terms of watch order) entries will be included within this stack.

The following anime follow 2 rules:
1. The anime is the anime with the most favorites that the character appeared in.
2. The source material (manga, light novel, etc.) doesn't have more favorites than the character.
