Synopsis

Following the successful end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Konohagakure has been enjoying a period of peace, prosperity, and extraordinary technological advancement. This is all due to the efforts of the Allied Shinobi Forces and the village's Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Now resembling a modern metropolis, Konohagakure has changed, particularly the life of a shinobi. Under the watchful eye of Naruto and his old comrades, a new generation of shinobi has stepped up to learn the ways of the ninja.

Boruto Uzumaki is often the center of attention as the son of the Seventh Hokage. Despite having inherited Naruto's boisterous and stubborn demeanor, Boruto is considered a prodigy and is able to unleash his potential with the help of supportive friends and family. Unfortunately, this has only worsened his arrogance and his desire to surpass Naruto which, along with his father's busy lifestyle, has strained their relationship. However, a sinister force brewing within the village may threaten Boruto's carefree life.

New friends and familiar faces join Boruto as a new story begins.

Well, if you are expecting to watch this series as some sort of naruto's sequel you're getting it kinda wrong. If I were you I'd stop at naruto and that's it. There is just way too much new technology-based stuff that really doesn't relate with the original content.

I'd honestly prefer to play ninja outside and to hit the gym than watch this one. Just get an extra set of muscles. In my opinion this is only worth to watch under one scenario. If you want to impress someone in a bar about how to do sign language and you somehow manage to trick them into ...

Mixed Feelings
Do you think Naruto is a complete character(whose story is complete)?
If you only consider until the point when he became Hokage, then Yes.

But that's not true. He became Hokage at the age around 30. It means more than Half of his life is still remaining(Considering 70-80 to be Average life time).
In Boruto, He Became Hokage then we see him being tired and exhausted all the time. If someone like Naruto who have Insane amount of Chakra get exhausted with Hokage's work then I wonder how previous Hokages managed to do it so. We also don't see him making Shadow Clones to do Paper Work, ...

This is an unnecessary sequel
Like so many sequels, there was no point in making Boruto. Naruto ended by wrapping up everything it set out to do. Did it do it flawlessly? Far from it, but this sequel doesn’t do something that makes it worth continuing the plot. It ruins everything the first protagonist managed to accomplish by trashing the world peace he achieved at the end of the series. The only reason it was made for is money, because people want to see more Naruto (aka it was made to sell based on nostalgia), and it fails even there since it hardly makes the money ...
