Himegoto is an enlightening piece of modern masterpiece that provides insight into the biases of society.

Episode 12 has undoubtedly a few of the most emotional scenes in animation history. The poignancy is unparalleled by any other. Me and a few homies cried for hours before resuming masturbation. No wonder battle-hardened Himegoto fans sneer at the childish themes of "Your Name".

All the way up to the final episode, the student council has been intentionally depicted as an oppressive and corrupt force that exercises their dominance through power and wealth. The characters embody TV (especially anime) cliches that seemingly deem the show as "tasteless". Yet brainless normies ... are unable to fathom the intricacies of bland characterization, which absolute draw attention to the ingenious plot line.

While I am not a hardcore feminist, I am still admire the efforts put in by the creators outline the polarity of control that exists between genders. It saddens me that no one else experiences that sharp melancholy. Dongers out for Hime, boys.

The story constantly repeats situations where the gender roles are reversed. However repulsed audiences may be, one cannot judge art through a narrow and confined perspective. If an alien species is observing Earth from afar, they would deem this as the peak of human evolution.

On the outside, Himegoto seems like a show full of fan service, appealing only to fans of trap characters. Yet upon closer investigation, many would find a carefully-crafted critique of authoritarian regimes and gender norms.

Moments such as Episode 12's (again, one of the greatest) molester sequence will go down as animation's most romantic scenes.

Yahoo! I get the first review... Of this... Anime... Suddenly I feel way less excited.

"My skin melted, my powers disappeared and suddenly I was nothing but a shadow, weaker than the most humble of ghosts."

To get the technical staff out of the way, the anime is a three minute short with lively animation, funny music exploring completely sexual themes. You could say it's Nekoyama's deranged psychotic sister... Or maybe brother. At this point I can't tell.

Well to begin with, we see an insanely cute girl assaulted by 2 Yakuza members, trying to make her pay off the debt her parents had left behind by selling ... her body. One even wants to do her on the spot. Pretty ordinary staff for Japan's standards. Until the other Yakuza guy says "Dude, you know that's a guy right?!"

Well, the anime already crushed one of my dreams, that sure didn't take long. As you have it our protagonist is a high-school trap. He is also disturbingly familiar with crossdressing and being sexually harassed.

But suddenly the student council of his school arrives to save the day! Consisting of three girls whose names&stereotypes you won't bother remembering they beat the Yakuza members (again, pretty typical staff for Japan) and rescue the protagonist in order to recruit her as the council's mascot and to have something to harass (oh yeah, all 3 are major perverts). They discover the trap but decide to recruit the protagonist nonetheless, making it (I refuse to call that thing a "he") act as the council's dog, in exchange for paying off its debt. Obviously part of the job is practically fanservicing everyone in school and leaving the "best-of" for the student council. They also make it announce in front of everyone that its gender is male (highly questionable).

So let me make things clear: We have 3 horny high school girls that were looking for yuri harassment, fell for a trap, and then entered an S&M exhibitionist relationship with said trap.

The second episode, introducing the rest of the notable cast actually made my soul sink even deeper into despair than the first had.The tired protagonist goes back home where he's greeted by his cute immouto (younger sister) wearing only her bath towel and rubbing herself on him to comfort him. Well, perhaps things aren't as bad as they looked in the sta it's a trap, isn't it?
Apparently crossdressing and looking more feminine than the females is in the family's genes.

Anyway, as the protagonist finds more and more ways to get sexually assaulted by everyone regardless of gender, his little sis... Brother, meets someone who has sworn to replace the current student council and therefore save the protagonist from constant humiliation. The head of the public morals commity... A LOLI! Oh, the most wonderful of sights to behold in an anime where the protagonist is a trap. Whoever has read my previous reviews or knows me irl knows that I have a certain weakness to lolis (as in, I absolutely adore them). And she is exactly as all lolis should be. Slightly tsundere, incredibly cutely shy, absolutely, 180 degrees, washboard-level, completely wallish, flat, with an adorable mini skirt, with the cute striped panties that hide a tiny bu...

The rest of the episodes are filled with chances for the protagonist to give fanservice to various people, with the ending of the most recent one (ep 4) being truly disturbing.

This is a continuation of the review above, 11 episodes have been released by now. I had thought that the series couldn't get anymore disturbing. Boy was I wrong...

At the end of each episode that passes the viewer will experience... Revelations to the protagonist that he rather enjoys being treated as a female. You could practically say that with the ending of each episode its gender changes more from "undefinable" to "female". And I won't lie, that's disturbing as f"$%. Also disturbing as f£%^ is how it was revealed that the maid of the public morals committee, a busty blonde (maid: my second fetish, ranked right after loliconnesss)... Is a dude with an overstuffed bra... Yes, there was actually another trap... Mere words cannot begin to describe the psychological trauma of having BOTH my dreams crushed so mercilessly. Oh and the protagonist's sister's (...) friend which appeared to be a boy always hiding his face? It's a girl crossdressing as a boy.

After watching episode 12: 1)Men who are men are rapists, that's today's lesson. 2)Women who are women are cruel inconsiderate jerks. 3)Men who are women are the only pure people in this world (...yes I find it as rediculous as you do). 4)If you quit the student council WHY ARE YOU STILL CROSSDRESSING?!

For an anime with 4 minute episodes, it is safe to assume that reading reviews for Himegoto will not result in anything much being ruined except maybe the punchline of a few jokes.

Himegoto is currently airing, but at episode 11 I can confidently say I have a feel for the series. Our main character Arikawa Hime is chased by debt collectors and is about to be sold off into the sex industry, before the rest of the main cast come to his rescue. These 3 are part of the student council, and are hugely rich. They decide to pay his way out of debt ... (from the kindness of their heart) and take him in as the school council's dog.

This is about as far as the plot goes so far. The rest of the series is basically the day-to-day life of a school full of crossdressers and/or perverts. It's by no means realistic, so if you want an idea of life in Japanese schooling please do not watch this anime! It is however a fun and interesting look at life in a school that is run by a team of perverted high schoolers.

The characters themselves are very well established considering there are only 4 minute episodes. Each one is visually very unique, and their personalities are all individual. The wants and aspirations of each character is consistent and their speaking patterns are also consistent.

The art style is simple and pleasant, with interesting and varied backdrops which do not swallow the characters with their colouring or line work. The characters themselves are animated very well, with a lot of movement and the effects of physics being displayed in simple ways like uniform creases or hair bounce. It is wonderfully composed and a delight to look at.

The humor itself could be described as shock humor I suppose, with the random spontaneous nature of scenes and punch lines that smack you in the face by coming far out of left field, but it is genuinely amusing to watch. It is packed full of interesting characters that work well together in comedic situations. It will make you laugh, but can not be equated to humor like Nichijou which is much more intentional and feels very different.

It is not hentai, but does have a lot of trap exposure in the chest area. Technically SFW, but a lot of scenes would not impress your boss if he was looking over your shoulder on your average work day. This show is definitely for older audiences, at least 18 for most countries. That being said, it has not yet got any on-screen sex scenes, nor does it have many intense sexual harassment being shown. It is sometimes implied, however, or even threatened by characters to one another.

The sort of audience this anime would most likely appeal to are those who have few boundaries, and no problems with "trap" characters being put into awkward situations or appearing in scenes with heavy sexual overtones. There are a lot of people who will refuse to watch Himegoto as it can appear to cross many boundaries, especially in the Western World. However, if all you want from an anime is an enjoyable, even sexy short show to watch inbetween study sessions or anime marathons, Himegoto is the anime for you.
It has already been subtitled by many groups, and I highly recommend supporting the official release when it finishes airing.

Every dude in this show is a girl, every girl is a dude. The whole show is a trap, this curious predicament really makes a man wonder, are traps really gay? is it really so wrong to be attracted to a drawing of a girl that happens to have a bulge between its legs where in reality there should be none? these are questions a man must ask himself, as he watches a show such as Himegoto. Sir William Smith once said "It appears, in fact, from this, as well as from the extant fragments, that the first book of the work contained a general ... account of the origin and arrangement of the universe. The second book appears to have been an exposition of the nature of numbers, which in the Pythagorean theory are the essence and source of all things." this perfectly arranged bundle of words with no meaning, perfectly encapsulates my feelings toward the show, a bundle of things thrown together for laughs, with no real meaning towards them. There is nothing original here, and yet i cannot look away, like a trainwreck is persists my mind and penis, as i sit here confused wondering whether its really ok for me to fap to this or not. According to legend, Pythagoras' followers threw the man who discovered irrational numbers off the boat, as it really made no sense in their day and age. Similarily, i want to throw myself off a boat, for taking so much time out of my free time to write this, when really it doesn't matter in the slightest. I did ironically enjoy it though, no not the boat thing, i cant swim. I meant the show, irony is the spice of life they say, now you may be wondering who out there actually says this, well i do, silly face, and therefore everyone else will as well, because my word is law. Ironically i dont actually believe any of what i just wrote and neither should you. Watch the show for all i care, but if a member of the student counsil tries to dress YOU in girly clothes against your will, you say no, and get the heck out of there, cause that is No Good.

As, I've finish watching this omake............I'm guessing that what animes were called that only runs for a maximum of 4 mins, ok, I just gonna get straight to the point, so here are my ratings for this omake:

Story: Himegoto or Secret Princess is a gender bender and the first one I've watched, I'd probably say that it was quite unique, when the story plot focuses on a girly boy who was left with a mountain of debt by his no good parents and has to be the student councils's dog since they're the ones who had settled it, now it ... maybe a kinda of Cinderella thingy, except in this case the guy went from the frying pan to the fire kinda of a problem That he has to dress as a girl, that to me was something that I find funny.

Overall: Well, such uniqueness did delivered this anime well, since at first I may have been annoyed by the Guy's pussyness and yet got lodes of laugh as get's himself to a lot of awkward situation that his masters (Student council members) put on him, but, for this anime to be called "Himegoto" or Secret Princess doesn't really jive with this omake, and if I were the original creator, Norio Tsukudani, I'd probably title it " Okama de Sentokai" or the cross-dresser in the student council.

Art: Ok, so I kinda like that Hime Arikawa is a crossdresser and so as most of the public morals as cute, but I also want to see Hime wearing a boy's uniform, fortunately it never happen, in fact he should be wearing a boy's school uniform in episode 12, let's not for get that he quit the student council in that episode, for that I hereby declared this anime's art as poor, co'z I'm disappointed to not see his manly side.

Sound: I like the seiyuu who did Hime, 18kin, Unko and Kaguya's voice, what I really love was the opening song, so the score is for the opening song.

Decent 4.

Character:

Hime Arikawa, may seemly be annoying for being a pussy, frankly there were time that I would like to hit him on the head, but it was his girly side that has balanced out my annoyance for him, so it was one of the raeson why the character category deserve a 4.

Now for the student council like 18kin, Unko and Albertina II, they my biggest annoyance which is one reason why I can't give this character category a high score. Basically them putting Hime in such appalling situation was pretty much unbecoming of a student council, also for the two members of the student council to be 18, I guess I can't never understnd why this anime director Yūji Yanase have to portray them as 18 years of age, I don't about you, but shouldn't high-school student of that age be gradates already? I'm thinking that anime director Yūji Yanase may have been a repeat student. Eh whatever, even so, them student council did add up to the comedy genre of this omake, which is another reason why this category should be "Decent " enough.

Enjoyment : Thought, I may have given this omake's overall a "Good" score, it wasn't really that enjoyable since there were situations that irritates me to see Hime to be this dumb and a pussy, though the anime was funny, my reaction to it is mixed between this omake's comedy and my disappointment for Hime, but seeing him having his first kiss with 18kin that probably was one moment that I should give this category a fair and that the way I enjoy this omake, so should I say more?

Helped me with my intro C++ programming class. I learned about allocating memory on the stack as well as appending nodes to the tails of linked lists. If there were to be a second season I would like them to cover Huffman trees as it is something that I am looking forward to going over in my discrete math classes. Overall I believe every CS major should partake in this 10/10 masterpiece. Seeing the spillage has awoken me.

This is a comedic series about a trap.

Not too much to say about it. It's sort of one dimensional in that most episodes are basically about hime being exposed or embarassed about being a trap. Still, they are pulled off well enough to be enjoyable. There are other jokes as well, but they're not the main focus; they're more witty one-liner type ones. Also, there's a decent amount of trap fanservice if you're into that. First time I've ever seen panty shots of guy's bulges. I think this anime would get a lower score, but I haven't seen much stuff about traps, so that gives ... it some uniqueness. That said, it's not the type of anime you can marathon. Most I've done is 4 episodes.

The series also had hidden potential. Over time, hime goes from being very against the idea of crossdressing to being ambivalent to clearly enjoying it. That could've been explored indepth. 18+ is interested in him so there was romantic potential as well. Almost all of the characters had a lot of potential for being fleshed out. It's a very big shame that it was only 3.5 minutes long and not made into less of a comedic series.

Being 3.5 minutes per episode, it's not a massive investment to try it. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes traps or wants to check out something different.

So this series heavily focuses on the idea of sexualizing traps and really terrible but laughable comedy. It's not too much but for 4 minutes per episode, i don't see how this series can be any more detailed than short snippets of school life. It's fine i guess, it's not a great story line but it's able to be intresting enough to keep me not too bored especially considering the short length. Great use of terrible comedy. I hated myself for somewhat laughing at some terrible jokes like male students still sexualizing and falling in love ... with the "girl" or the student council and their ridiculous idea of keeping "her" as a pet.

Overall the bare fundamentals are there but i don't think there's more than that.

The artwork is decently good, somewhat convincing, especially the main character, i somewhat got convinced at times that it's an actual girl for once. As usual the bare fundamentals like drawing a face and making everything looking cutsey and stuff is there however it lacks for shading and certain distinct features that make the art look rather animated. Colours were sort of ok, most of the time ignoring background lighting but maintains a nice accurate colour for the clothing. But it's fine i guess. It's convincing and bearable and i somewhat have a soft spot for cute characters so it scores decently.

Sound was what got me impressed. Or should i say impressed from this series. Most of the audio is fine, maybe the "girls" should have more distinct differentiation from the actual girls. It seems at times that these "girls" have a female voice actress speaking which makes it a bit odd but nonetheless convincing. There is still the lack of space in the audio but it's not a major problem since most anime can barely replicate it anyways. What got me impressed was the existence of an opening and closing song, which for 4 minutes series is kind of surprising for me.

I don't expect much from character development as of now. No 4 minute series has ever convinced me that somehow they can bring characters to that much detail. And this is no exception. There is a lack of distinct character personality with somewhat everyone just has the same idea of sexualizing "her". Most of the personalities are somewhat generic at best but they can sometimes be quite bubbly and fun to watch despite being rather shallow and repetitive. It's not hateful, it's just good. It fairs good compared to other short series but are no match for longer titles.

I got to say. I kind of enjoyed it. It's hell of confusing, making me question myself on my soft spot for traps and cute stuff. It's a fun and enjoyable series despite the terrible storyline and average art and characters. Overall i didn't think it's bad at all, it's rather enjoyable having the question myself.

Himegoto is an outstanding anime showcasing the erotic nature of traps. I was full mast the entire time while watching. All twelve of the 4 minute long episodes managed to make me feel berry up inside. Upon the ashes of my former self I lay my crown. I have forsaken my lust for material possessions and my need for sexual gratification. I no longer am satisfied with women. I only feel something for anime traps. Himegoto is eternal and shall not be forgotten by time or space. I shall forget myself in anime traps and transcend my human flaws. I won't judge those who don't, ... but I encourage all to try.

Before I talk about the show there is one thing I want to mention. The pun in the title is actually kind of clever and made me laugh when I realized it. Okay on to the review.

The story is about a poor, feminine boy named Hime being paid by rich people to whore out and cross dress for them and he agrees to this because his parents are assholes and left all of their debt in his name. And when I say 'whore out' I mean it, you see his penis wobble around a lot in this show, don't worry they cover it up with ... his panties (which he wears even before he cross dresses for them... for whatever reason).

The art and sound are all that you would expect from a 5-minute episode kind of show. Not good, not bad, enough. Except for the penis physics, they're surprisingly well animated compared to everything else, it's always bobbing up and down and the world just seems to aligned perfectly so you see it constantly, that's where all the budget went, huh?

Now here's the part that really bugs me about this show, the part that really grinds my gears: the characters. All the main characters in this show (except for Hime) are all horrible, maybe not Makoto Itou from 'School Days' horrible, but up there. Unko, Belle, and 18+ (I don't remember her real name, I don't care enough) are complete assholes. There is a scene near the end, that I won't spoil, but my jaw dropped while watching it, I couldn't fathom what was happening or at how horrible these people are... just watching it and smiling and even recording it. That's when it clicked in my head that it's not just a slightly sadistic cute show, but a slightly cute Sadistic show. The side characters aren't much better, Hime's little brother, Kaguya, tries constantly to have sex with his brother which was funny in "I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying" and cute in 'Candy Boys' but here it's just weird and uncomfortable. All the other people are forgettable with the only feature that stands out is that they all cross-dress.
'No. 1' is the only other character I like in this show. She gets verbally abused a lot by Kaguya though, poor girl. I think Kaguya does it out of sexual frustration, but I'm not certain.

Now the only question left is: Why do I like this show? That's a great question and I'll give you the conclusion that I came to after rewatching the show a lot:

Hime Arikawa is such a likable character. He's cute, he's not dumb but no genius so he can know what's he talking about and be stupidly cute. He's always nice and tries to put his best foot forward (except for certain moments), he wants to make other people happy even if it's not in his best interest. When he cries you kind of want to hold him and make him feel better, the only bad thing about him is that he doesn't know when to cross the line until it's too late and his entire family is horrible. He's a lot like a puppy actually and contrary to popular belief puppies are cuter than kittens.

Porn could be the reason too, but that answer doesn't really make me look good now does?

Give the show a watch, I want people to suffer with me. Cheers.

This is truly a masterpiece of our time rivaled by only evangelion and one piece but it still comes out on top. My only complaint is that there isn't more of it. i would sell my liver to see hime do a silly dance a few more times. It tells the most entreating and compelling story I have seen this shit puts game of thrones to shame. it really says a lot about society. these are some of the most well rounded characters ive seen it really makes shiji look like the most 2 dimensional character ever. i do not now how i go back ... to watching garbage shows with no plot like steins gate after watching this masterpiece. they should put the box set in museums

They say that if you go through a tragedy with somebody it makes you closer, That's exactly what it's like with the characters, You hate everything going on that you seek comfort in the characters ... and it works

I think everyone should watch this anime just to experience the weird sadistic fascination I felt while watching it, You'll regret it, And that's what makes it fun

Himegoto is more than just a comedy or a romantic drama...

It's a beautiful work of art...

It's a social commentary on mistreating people who don't fit with "the norm" and the effects that said mistreatment can have on someone.

From episode 1 we are introduced to the lead character, Hime Arikawa, and the 3 girls who make up the student council. These characters are all crucial to the plot and serve as the driving force of the shows narrative as it is through the poor treatment of Hime by the student council that reveals the true purpose of the show, this is especially clear in the case ... of 18-kin.

18-kin sees Hime as nothing but a toy that she can use for her sick and sadistic mind to torture, she doesn't care for him in the slightest unless it directly affects her ability to play with him. Hime is constantly put through vile and wicked torture and humiliation by 18-kin and the student council, but throughout this Hime somehow begins to open their hearts and they eventually start to become what seems like friends.

This is all comes together at the end where they put their new-found respect and friendship with Hime on the line and must reflect on their treatment of him in the past. I won't spoil anything as this is possibly the greatest end to a series to date.


Himegoto manages to reach everyone who views it differently, whether that be through its themes of friendship and family, heartbreak and betrayal, or even it's more "mature themes", because of this I believe that this show transcends all other media and stands as not only a masterpiece of a show but also a masterpiece of art.

In short, Himegoto is the greatest thing ever created.

I am devastated that there is only 1 positive review at the top. Himegoto is the perfect reflection of the sinful human actions revolving around the deadly sin of lust.

Genevan philosopher, writer, and composer Jean-Jacques Rousseau believed that man was good by nature, and that the unnaturalness of society had damned man into this selfish greedy being. Such a controversial idea was taken and implemented in the Japanese animated cartoon "Himegoto", which is based on a 4-panel Japanese comic with the same name, created by the author Tsukudani Norio. This is not all Himegoto takes ... in its embodiment of what is one of the most underrated pieces of eastern literature to exist, probably rivalling authors such as Sun Tzu. It takes in another controversial topic, commonly known as "traps". On 00:00:07 3rd August 2020 UTC+0, user u/AnimemesMod announced the banning of the word "trap" in an attempt to rule out the transphobia it had believed to have existed within the use of the word. Multiple redditors screeched at these mods telling them that the wrong choice has been made. Such a change was so great that there was not one day with one post that didn't mention this new rule with each meme, long time lurkers came out just to post their sheer rage at such distraught. The legacy of such a tragic incident is all memories now. The only push to such an incident this large was made by anime listing site Anilist which had the same type of announcement on 24th October 2020, reactions were slightly more civil.

What I am trying to get at is not that you need a high IQ to understand the extremely subtle themes, and get a solid grasp of gender identity studies, rather the mere message of the anime when leaving it. Being a crossdresser is difficult, and Himegoto answers every question of such a topic, no-fail.

So many crimes—quite possibly against humanity—in Himegoto has been committed that I am actually going to make myself deeply analyse the footage myself one day just to see how much atrocities and violations have been committed, and yes, this is normally against other fellow free humans such as Hime and the other crossdressers. At the beginning of the story, it is clear that Hime had no intention of cross-dressing after being molested by the two men in black suits. But the student council president forced him to wear such feminine attire and pushed him into being at the lower end of the chain of beings, sitting at an animal level, namely the dog. Everything was done against his will. Everything from joining contests to swimming. Everything. Such a message so powerful makes my dead soul cry to come back just to shed tears unparalleled beauty. Episode 12, as one top review will already tell you, is the sole pinnacle of intense emotions following into one's heart, enough to make the gloomiest of teenagers feel true sorrow. The animation was as CoMix Wave and KyoAni joined forces to make this. I simply cannot express this beauty with just words.

All in all, this review, and quite possibly other opinions are pointless. This is an experience you must see for yourself to get the true grasp of Hime's hellhole of life at school. 10/10 message. I will link the blog showing all of Himegoto's crimes here on this review one day. As for now, I must think about such a dangerous race of intelligent individuals and what I am doing here on this earth.

To be sure: this is a guilty pleasure, but to be sure: it is very pleasurable.

Allow me to provide the synopsis for almost every one of these thirteen 4-minute episodes:

1: Hime is being cute.
2: Hime gets sexually harassed/molested.
3: Hime is being cute.
4: Hime gets humiliated.
5: Someone is shocked to discover that Hime is male.
6: Said someone is either disgusted or more usually is like: "That's even better!" .
... 7: Hime is being cute.

Then there are some other jokes which invariably centre around either A) sexual harassment, or B) some character implausibly not being the sex he appears to be at first glance.

That is it but, man is it cute and sometimes actually funny.

I've noticed so many negative reviews that I decided to write my own to point out important details which many watchers have missed. Traps, allegedly fan-service, lack of story and repetitive jokes made many watchers to give negative reviews.
First of all, Himegoto is a sexual-harassment story wrapped up in a slice of life comedy, so it's not for everyone. It's a short anime (also manga doesn't have much more material either) which means that main role is creating enjoyment, all elements besides fun are less developed and it's understandable that such short anime doesn't have much story development (a guy bribed to dress up as ... a female and suffers sexual harassment), sound and art are nothing special and characters may seem blunt, but connections between characters, their reactions and motifs can be understood if attention is paid to conversations.
Whole story is to make jokes about traps, people being trilled and obsessed with them, jokes follow similar pattern to put protagonist in awkward situations, but they differ (though outcome is the same, cannot disagree with that). About "fan-service", I believe those scenes were meant to be a joke, not just to please fans. For example [[*SPOILER* the moment when Albertina II was measuring Himegoto with tailors' tape and he made yaoi sound and weird pose *SPOILER*]] which most likely means that such "fan-services" are overreactions to boost jokes.
Himegoto may be just quick entertainment, but I got impression that bullying and sexual harassment can be researched after comedy layers are removed and all what remains are relations between characters, conversations and tasks Himegoto had to do. Characters' nature can be noticed, to pretend and hide real intentions, which brings some depth to this show.

If you like short, quirky and controversial comedy which includes sexual harassment and jokes about traps, look further no more. Though it doesn't have much of story, art and sound, it's brilliant in enjoyment and you will surely have a good time if this show fits your taste, otherwise you'll be like many others and write negative things after show didn't match your expectancy.

I will add few more thoughts on core of Himegoto, don't read further if you haven't finished it.
Despite being short, this show can bring strong message that anyone can be a douche and manipulate others. Having paid Himegoto's debt, student council didn't put him in any better situation, using him for gathering money (nobody admitted to him it was all about the money) and treating him worse than a slave, placing him in all kinds of awkward situations. Public morals committee members are Himegoto's only allies, even though its president (Mitsunaga or "Mittan") may seem annoying or rude, he actually cares for Himegoto and tries to stop student council bullying. I think Mittan said that he was bullied by student council, which means student council targets young and weak boys who don't stand up for themselves and allow others to use them. 18+ caring to profit from Himegoto, Albertina II to get more inspiration for manga and make Himegoto cosplay, while Unko is more childish and isn't rude to Himegoto but follows the group so she doesn't stand up for him. No matter how much I enjoyed this show, ending was a letdown. The problem is that Himegoto was portrayed always as a weak character (remained the same from start to the end) and in the end student council came to the rescue and then like everything came back to start which would ruin the message, but it's just short fun and it's understandable, though it had a lot of potential to show that sexual harassment can happen to men and that women can be awful people who manipulate others and seek profit and fun no matter how others are hurt. If ending was different, view on this should would have been much different, but despite this drawback the show is still enjoyable.

If it's a guy it doesn't matter, that's what the series all it was...

I quiet enjoyed this short 4-min. episode anime. Its plot was good nothing much, but then again short series like these don't ever really have one. For a short series the plot was still good compared to others. I am very picky when it comes to art, but this anime had very good art. I usually find myself cringing when I come across these short series because of how crappy the art is,but the animation was great. The characters were fitting and the voices matched with the theme and plot of the story, no complain there. It was a fun ride and would definitely recommend ... this to someone who is looking for a quick laugh and, obviously, is into the cross-dressing thing.

Himegoto is served in 13 eps, which is each ep duration around 3mins (so sad it's so short -sobs-). After gave brief description about the story, I will start the review from the story itself. The story seems so grim for the hero who's forced to be a girl, dressed as a girl, and bullied because of it. The funny moments gently flows from that misfortune of the hero-in-debt. Based on quite simple probs, the school life turns into scenes full of laughter. Honestly, it isn't enough to enjoy the series in 3mins. There are also lessons from the series, especially on the last two ... eps of cherish the friendship.

Now, about the characters (wwww~ I even laugh when type this paragraph). The story centers around 8 characters involved, 4 of them are student council members, include the hero, named Hime Arikawa. 4 others are from public morals committee, who never get along w/ student council. Collision of opinions and acts between them happens frequently, so absurd (゜ν`(∋─━┌(｀・ڡ・´ ┌)! Uniqueness among all of the members is the tastiest reason why you should try to watch this one! Don't jump to conclusion so fast, you'll reveal the hidden truths of the characters one by one, not to mention, in a humorous way.

How about the music? So lively I could say! When I usually skip the OP after watched it once, I didn't treat Himegoto series OP the same as others. I wait it patiently and stemed-up to the song. I personally don't know and never had to search before whether there are characters song available or not. But I can say by the OP itself, it's nice and fit the series.

The last aspect may be the graphics. Not much to say from the graphics use for the series. No special or superior thing on it, but please note that the anime is well prepared, different from some short series w/ somewhat below average for graphics. The colours are mixing right, not too bright, tends to emphasize the prominent colours. The details and movements of scenes or characters are good.

Summary, for the trap genre as the main points which is rare to be animated, I really idolize it. Override the plus points from my point of view, I give 8 for Himegoto series. ╰( ´・ω・)つ──☆

While I usually do not write reviews...this anime was just too funny not to write one about.

Himegoto is a cross dressing/ecchi anime and when starting this anime you should expect just that. While the story is quite cliche, what is lacks in plot it makes up in comedy. Now, do NOT go into this anime thinking that its going to be anything more than a cross dressing/ecchi anime. You will be disappointed. Himegoto is practically just one big dirty joke. But if you just want a short, funny and quite lewd anime to pass time with, Himegoto is your gal (or maybe guy who knows ... anymore). I overall enjoyed this anime, I didn't really have to pay attention per say, I could just laugh and kill time. Himegoto is not for everyone and if you want a cross dressing anime with an actual plot and/or less lewdness, Ouran Highschool Host Club is a classic and if you are looking for an anime like Himegoto, MM! is very good one of the same caliber.
